UPDATED POST: The dentist that I have much respect for reached out to me personally and assured me that everything was going to be taken care. I received a refund for my incorrect charge. I know that sometimes people are just having bad days and possibly going through things in life. Instead of posting such a negative review, after series of bad events, its best to talk it out and give people grace. I have been going to City Dental since 2014. In my years was I never forced to pay - for a mistake on the dental side. I had changed my insurance and let them know months in advance. To my surprise they said I still had both when I went to check out. I was forced to pay $154 for a cleaning. Also got lectured on why I should only have one dental insurance and it isn’t good to have two. Which I responded, that I only have one. But no one was hearing. Also the cancelled insurance only pays every 6 months. My appointment was December 8th, my last appointment June 14th. Why on earth would let a person book an appointment 7 days short of their 6 month appointment. One of the reasons I cancelled it. have seen I was a week off of my 6 months. I called the insurance company the day I got my teeth cleaned to confirm for a third time it was cancelled, got an email from the insurance company and forwarded to City Dental the same day. Got notice today from cancelled insurance that there was a pending claim. Emailed City Dental and here is the response: I have already posted a Zero payment towards that claim for Guardian. Unfortunately, right now with our current system, we have been unable to delete claims once they have been "batched" and the one we had through Guardian was accidentally sent out. But I know you do not have them anymore and I forwarded a claim already to Delta Dental. Once they have paid the claim and there is a credit on your account, you will receive a refund check in the mail. Sorry for the inconvenience but it is being handled on our end. Next time, listen to you clients and not take Christmas money.

I set an appointment a few weeks ago. I told the receptionist that I did not have my insurance card at the time, but hoped to have it before my appointment. They said it was totally fine and to come a little early for the insurance. Today, while at work I got an email letting me know that my appt was canceled apropos of nothing. I called in and talked to 'Rayni' who told me I absolutely had to have my insurance before the appt. I tried telling her that I was told differently and would have it in time for the appt. She kept telling me if I didn't have it today they'd have to cancel my appointment which is in 10 days. I did not bring the card to work and was unable to provide the information at the time and hung up. I called back later, hoping to talk to someone else. Unfortunately, I talked to 'rayni' again who said she was the one that originally took my call for my initial appointment. So she either lied then or she lied today. I told her that I had taken time off work and needed the appointment. After a little back and forth she laughed at me / my frustration. She bold faced and unapologetically laughed at me. I took time off work for a 2 hour "new patient" appointment, regardless of the fact that no dental office has ever asked me for a 2 hour initial appointment. After taking time off work and unceremoniously canceled on, getting lied to, and being laughed at, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I would not come here if my teeth were falling out of my head and this were the only place open. Do. Not. Trust. Them. With. Your. Dental. Hygiene. If it wasn't 'rayni' laughing at me, it was the other receptionist 'Lexi' in the background. I have never been treated so poorly.

City Dental is a fantastic place to go for all of your dental care. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with each visit. I had a relatively poor experience at my previous dental office that made me want to explore other options and I'm so glad to have found City Dental. It all started with how helpful the front desk team of Reenie and Lexie were with helping me set up my first appointment. They were both very kind and attentive. Lexie even went through the trouble of finding out my insurance benefits and breaking down what my cost would be. My first visit was extremely thorough and I felt very well cared for. Easily one of the most detailed cleanings I've ever had done. Ashley and Angela both helped on the hygienist side and were kind and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my entire cleaning/exam. I booked my appointment with Dr. Shao because I've only heard great things about him and all of them were true and more! Dr. Shao is very kind and made sure all of my questions were answered in detail. I didn't feel like I was bugging him with my questions. He made sure that I had as much time as needed. I went back for one follow up visit to get a touch-up done on a fill-in and it was a repeat of my first visit: fantastic! Dr. Shao even remembered the concerns I had mentioned before and followed up to see if those issues were feeling better. My previous dental office did a patch on a previous fill-in which caused a lot of pain and Dr. Shao was able to remedy it. I can't recommend City Dental enough. If you live in the Portland area and need dental work done then City Dental is the spot to go!!

11/8/2022: Back today for a filling. Somehow going to the dentist was the most restful part of my day. The folks at the front desk are friendly and kind and somehow remember personal details about my life. The hygienists are as knowledgeable as some dentists I've met. The dentists are thorough, skilled, pain-free, and kind. The recent remodel is gorgeous. Easily the best dental practice I've ever been to. Previous Review: I cannot imagine a more perfect dentist office. I have a traumatic dental history and dread even a routine cleaning. The staff here are professional, kind, and know my preferences: Everything gets explained in detail, I get a pillow for my neck, and at the end I get an itemized receipt for HSA reimbursement without ever needing to ask. The doctors are skilled, detail-oriented, and personable. Dr. Bajuscak, Dr. Shao, and Dr. Amali are all knowledgeable and friendly. The technologies used here seem like something out of science fiction (a variety of imaging technologies! Same day 3D-printed crowns! Root canals without drama and fuss!) and the results speak for themselves. I am not sure if they can always provide this level of personal care, but today I called at 8:05 with new onset dental pain and was a given an appointment at 8:40; arrived early was in a chair at 8:30; was assessed and given a treatment plan by 8:45; Walked out with an emergency root canal that didn't require a new crown just as my parking was expiring at 10:25. I cannot imagine receiving service this at any other dentist I've ever been to. They go above and beyond and are worth every penny.

Dr. Bajuscak is the most gentle and down to earth dentist I have ever had. With a wonderful bed-side manner and lovely sense of humor, he makes me feel at ease. I'm a grown woman but that does not diminish my fear of the dentist due to bad past experiences elsewhere. "Terrified" would be a better word to describe my apprehension of going to the dentist but then I found this clinic. Yes, sometimes the needles still hurt but he ALWAYS cares about how I'm doing during any procedure. He talks me through what is happening and he just seems like he actually cares. He is NEVER in a hurry. If you're terrified of the dentist like I am, you understand the critical importance of a dentist taking his time. I should add that I also have Crohn's disease and the injections I take to control it cause my immune system to be compromised. For this reason, many dentists were not able to provide me appropriate treatment. It was too complex and I suppose I was a "difficult patient" due to the medical issues. Dr. Bajuscak is the ONLY dentist that has been willing to listen and provide treatment around all of my medicine allergies, healing issues and sensitivities. This is a rare find. I feel blessed. I have had several cavities filled now, a few complex filling replacements and referrals out for root canals. I will continue my treatment here because I feel like I am listened to, given thoughtful appropriate treatment and respect....quirky terrified disposition and all. :) lol

I am new to Portland (from Nashville) and I must say that I am beyond impressed with the care and attention given to me by City Dental. The dentist is not a place, and my guess is most of us feel the same, that I particularly look forward to - especially when trying somewhere new. I had sensitivity in a filling recently done in Nashville and needed to get it checked out once I got here. I got a recommendation from a friend in the area about City Dental and I will tell you, it was one of the most (if not the most) pleasant dental experiences I've had in my adult life. I got Dr. Soroush Amali and the guy is first class. I'm totally blanking on the hygienist's name, but she was/is as well. Dr. Amali and the hygienist took me through x-rays + bite samples (that blue chalk stuff) + camera angles of the filling previously done in Nashville and what they suspect it might be. They did cold/hot press tests for sensitivity and then scheduled me to come back in for replacement. Needless to say, the entire procedure the next week went beautifully. You know what it is? It's asking questions and listening to you. It's about the care and attention to detail during prep and procedure. It's about treating the problem over the sale. It's about genuine care for patients. That is the experience I got with Dr. Amali, the hygienist, and the reception team at City Dental. Like I said, first class.

This was my first time back to the dentist since covid and normally I have a lot of dental anxiety - but the whole team made me feel excited! Sam did a phenomenal job cleaning and what normally usually hurts a little I didn’t even notice! She was also the first dental hygienist to not make me feel bad about not having the best track record in not taking care of my teeth. She helped me find products that would help maintain good oral health and for that I am very grateful. I also have a missing front tooth which I’ve been overusing a flipper for, and Dr. Bajuscak and Doris made a Maryland Bridge for me. To say I was blown away was an understatement. I’ve undergone 13 surgeries for cleft lip and palate and my smile has always been a point of embarrassment for the missing tooth - yesterday I probably smiled more than I have in my entire life! It’s amazing having something more permanent and that fits in my mouth so well - and looks exactly like the real thing! I cannot express the gratitude I have to Dr. Bajuscak and the whole team. After this I know I’ll have to have a bone graft done to prepare for an implant, and when I had heard that from my previous dentist I had been terrified. Now? I can’t wait to get it done! City Dental has turned this anxious dental-goer into someone who’s excited to get their teeth worked on!!

What point of my adulthood have I reached that I’m dying to leave a review for my dentist? Not sure. I have become certain of this: I probably won’t find a better dentist - hah. Dr. Shao is incredibly brilliant and honestly an angel on this earth (I have not had Dr. Bajuscak but I have no doubts he is the same!). I have never doubted any information or diagnoses because of the trust this office has created for me. The dental assistants + hygienists I have had are all incredibly skilled, kind, and partake in my awkward chattiness very well. As a patient, it’s easy to nervously look around at your surroundings but I never find anything off putting or doubt any scans, information, or diagnoses given. It is obvious that every one who works here is extremely qualified and fantastic at their jobs. The front desk staff are extremely helpful, flexible, and I feel like they have the yearly schedule permanently memorized because of how quick they are to move things around for me. I feel extremely privileged that they take my insurance because I really truly enjoy going to the dentist :)

After an awful experience with a prior dentist that resulted in severe pain, major infections that caused over four months of debilitating illness, and a two step root canal, I was absolutely frightened to go to another dentist. I’m beyond pleased with my experience today with the City Dental staff. They are incredibly kind and patient. Thank you for taking me for my appointment even though I was late. And Dr. Amali was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, friendly, and so gentle! Numbing was painless and my face didn’t feel deformed and didn’t ache after my procedure which was a huge worry given my prior experience.I appreciate that Dr. Amali took his time when he felt the procedure wasn’t perfect, yet with the extended time it took to correct my filling, he was efficient and so gentle and precise. I have a lot more work to be done l, and I’m so grateful my anxiety and fears have been put at ease with my experience today. Thank you!

When everything goes fine, you get a cordial smile. When they make a mistake, you quickly learn how heartless they are. A hygienist I've never met before rushed an anesthetic application so badly that I was screaming and in tears from the pain while she talked down to me like a child and kept going. As I walk outside the office I am still sore and bleeding from the experience. I have had 4 sessions of fillings before in my experience and never had something go so wrong before. It was so bad the Dentist had to cancel the rest of our appointment. I was offered no compensation for pain or time lost by this error. Instead, the receptionist at city dental made me sign papers agreeing that my next visit would cost **more**.

The front desk lady always pronounce my name incorrect despite the fact I have corrected her multiple times. Everyone else in the office say my name correctly. I have also requested to have my appointments with specific dentist. When I got to the appointment, I was shocked that it was different dentist. This is also happened multiple times so I gave up asking. This was fine because my dentist is nice, expert and knows what he talking about. It’s just annoying not respecting the customers request and totally ignored it. My two recent appointments, the hygienist wasn’t really experienced enough. She hurt me when she did the filling and the cleaning. It is a nice, clean office and they always have quick appointments.

I have a barely perceptible chip on one of my teeth that would take less than ten minutes to fix. I've had the chip for years and have had it fixed several times when it comes off, so I know how this works. I sat in the chair, and before they even looked at my tooth they tried to put the x-ray vest on me. I asked multiple times if the dentist could just take a quick look, since I know it's not necessary to do an x-ray, but he refused to even come in the room. This is such an obvious attempt to get a few extra bucks out of the insurance company. My chipped tooth and I just thanked the ladies at the front desk and went home with no services performed. If the dentist doesn't trust his eyes, then why should I?

This is literally the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. It’s located in the heart of downtown Portland on the 7th floor of a building that overlooks the whole city. There dentists and hygienists are not only kind and compassionate but they are also extremely competent and professional. They have always had my back and gotten me in on short notice and when my bridge came out, they put it back in free of charge. Their front desk is staffed by extremely knowledgeable people who always answer the phone and it never goes to a recording. This place is wonderful. They even have sparkling water and snack in the lobby! I give City Dental 5 stars or 10/10. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

I came in on a recommendation. Several months before that I had had some shoddy cavity work done by a state-insured dentist in Washington: my fillings had chipped off in places, were rough and raised around the edges, and I did not have a proper bite because the fillings were too high in places, causing me jaw and tooth pain. The staff at City Dental were all incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. And my teeth were well taken care of, no more rough edges; my tooth and jaw pain resolved within a week. I am so deeply grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and quality of work that Portland City Dental gave me and have been recommending them to all my friends and family.

I shattered a tooth back in October and City Dental was the only place in Portland who offered to get me in ASAP. They understood that I didn't have dental insurance and I believe their prices were fair. The tooth later became infected and they just performed a root canal and a crown that went far better than I expected. I really appreciated them taking the time to make sure the crown matched the rest of my teeth (on a front tooth, so sort of important). Additionally, they are responsive when you leave voicemails with the emergency dentist. I'm glad that I came here for my dental care and recommend City Dental to everyone (especially if you have dental anxiety--they are so nice!)

Dr. Bajusak and his team are amazing. He’s been my dentist for a few years now and recently straightened my teeth using the Invisalign treatment. My teeth are perfect now and I keep getting compliments. The process was easy and his staff make me feel so welcome every time I come in. The office is clean and bright. They obviously invest in new technologies in order to being the best possible dental care to each patient. They hygienists are very thoughtful and considerate. In particular, I have a very sensitive tooth and they always remember which one it is and adjust their cleaning technique to keep me as comfortable as possible. I’m a patient for life! Go see them!

City Dental is my Outstanding Service Provider of the Year. 2023 was my Year at the Dentist. In addition to the two preventative visits (cleaning, x-rays, etc.), Dr. Shao and crew completed two extractions (in preparation for implants), fixed a chipped tooth (next day) replaced a broken crown (also next day) and installed two new crowns. The dental technology in place here is more advanced than most can imagine. All of the people are pleasant to work with and will answer any questions you may have. I'm fortunate to have some good dental insurance, so all of the above didn't affect my net worth too badly. :)

I reluctantly decided to change dentists recently when I discovered that they were no longer participating providers in any health plan. I was fortunate to find City Dental. Not only do they accept my Medicare dental PPO plan, but they are simply a great practice! All the staff who I’ve encountered — from scheduling/reception folks to hygienists/dental assistants to dentists to billing clerks — are friendly, helpful and very professional. I felt fully informed and well cared for throughout my initial visits for a cleaning and fillings. Changing practices after 30 years was hard, but I’m glad I did it!

If you are looking for a great dentist and superb, professional and empathetic staff, City Dental is where you should go. I have had dealings with several dentists over the course of many years and without exception, this group is head and shoulders above all others. The office is well-run. From the moment you walk in the door, you are well taken care of! It's easy to set appointments; online or by phone. You will always know your costs, co-pays, etc so there are no surprises. Dr. Bajuscak is very gentle, yet direct, professional yet personable. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else

Wonderful dentist office. Can't recommend enough. The people at the front desk are lovely. Sam, my hygienist, is expert, professional, and kind and always takes time to answer my questions — I think the title "hygienist" really doesn't sum up how amazing she is. I have seen both Dr. Bajuscak and Dr. Amali and they are both kind and gentle, and make me feel seen and heard. Thanks to these delightful people and the wonders of modern dentistry, I now enjoy my trips to the dental chair. It's also an extra bonus that I usually get "the corner office" with a view of downtown Portland.

The hole problem is the attitude of very specific lady that works with insurances from far left as you enter in the office. The arrogance, and the unwillingness to listen first and then help is a big problem! With an attitude every time that you ask questions! This review is for business owners who cares about a good relationship between small business and customer! I would put 1 start , but everything else is great , besides that employee. A person with that kind of attitude should not be in the customer service industry, it will ruin your business over time!

They charge people without insurance DOUBLE THE PRICE they charge people with insurance. They gave me a $1200 quote for fillings a few months ago, but I wanted to wait until I had insurance. The new quote was for $600! Reenie explained that they have caps on prices for insurance companies but not for customers paying out of pocket. It is disgusting they have two price tables and are not transparent about that to non-insurance holders. I won’t go back on principle even though my insurance has kicked in. They screwed me out of enough money already.

I'm new to Portland, so finding a new dentist was a top priority. I feel like I really hit the jackpot with City Dental. Their staff is incredibly helpful and professional, the dentists are skilled and knowledgeable... but more than all that, they really care about their patients and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I had my first root canal ever (which was very stressful for me) but the staff guided me through each step of the procedure and it was a smooth procedure with little or no discomfort. I highly recommend these folks!

I love Dr. B and his team! I have not been a fan of dentists in the past.... a bad experience once. But, Dr. B has put my fears to rest. I no longer dread going to the dentist, and most importantly I do not have any anxiety while sitting in the exam chair. The hygienists are gentle and efficient during cleanings. Dr. B is kind and warm during more intense work (i.e. fillings and crowns). Also, the front desk is welcoming and do a great job at explaining the costs of procedures. I am so thankful I finally found a dentist and team that I trust.

I have had a few dentists before and Dr Bajuscak and staff are by far the most skilled. I have never felt any discomfort while they were cleaning my teeth, and I have very sensitive gums. In the past, I remember gripping the chair while my teeth was cleaned. I have never had to do such things with his staff, and I get even better results. They are so detail oriented that every single slab of plaque and staining is removed. His office also has the most up-to-date technology in ensuring the health of your teeth!

A friend recommended City Dental after having a bad experience at another dental office in Portland. I couldn’t be happier with the dentists and dental hygienist at City Dental. They have the gentlest hands and are very aware of each individual’s needs during a visit. They do a great job explaining what they are doing and why they recommend certain procedures. I would recommend City Dental to anyone that has anxiety about going to the dentist or anyone that has had TMJ pain following dental work.

I have been an extremely happy patient for 5 years. I have been through it all: crowns, cavities, chips, even mouth surgery (referred out by the folks at City Dental). There was one instance of a mistake where a cavity they installed 6 months prior wasn’t as strong as they like it to be - they owned up to the error and fixed it immediately without charge. They have provided excellent customer care. I refer them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Very clean office, friendly staff, excellent service. I got a cleaning and a filling. Hygienist did a great job, I barely felt the injection for my filling, and the doctor also did great! All staff members were very friendly and asked me multiple times if I had any questions. Very transparent with me on my oral health, what work might need to be done at some point unless I improve my oral hygiene in certain areas, alternatives, etc.

I got two teeth remove on the same day. I never had an amazing experience with the procedure, normally is painful but I didn’t feel even the middle to go in while I was getting numb and the extraction no pain or sensation at all. The after care of the visit, I did not feel any pain at all or discomfort. I had other similar procedure before which were not pleasant, thanks to Dr Karl Shao for your patient, care and dedication.

Dr Bajuscak and his staff always make me feel welcome and valued as a client. I was sad to see Ann, my long-standing hygienist, retire, as I credit her with playing a major role in keeping my teeth after a long history of severe periodontal disease. However, I was very pleased with the cleaning job that Kaylee did last week. I felt she was thorough and, at the same time, attentive to keeping me as comfortable as possible.

Great staff in a solid setup in a very convenient location if you work/live downtown. Can't say enough about the service and quality care you get here! (And I say this even as half of my face is still numb from a filling) Modern perks too new tools and chairs, renovated office and just the small things, including reminders via email and text and the ability to change your appointments via those methods as well.

The best dental practice that I've been to. The hygienist's attention to the dental cleaning is much more thorough than I've previously experienced. Everyone is pleasant and all the equipment is state of the art. Sufficient time is scheduled for each patient so you feel that all your concerns have been heard - and pending concerns are noted so that they can be watched over time. This is a very solid practice.

I've gone to City Dental for some years now and have always been treated very well and received exceptional service. I would highly recommend it for anyone. Everything gets explained, from payments to procedures, even as work is being done, so you know what to expect. And they go out of their way to offer things to ease your way through the appointment - earphones, water and sparkly water, lavender and more.

I had a really great dentist who recently retired, and I was super bummed needing to go to a new office. He recommended me to City Dental, though, and I'm so happy he did! The staff was very friendly, the hygienist was awesome and super knowledgeable, and Dr. Bajuscak was very friendly and answered any questions I had! It was a great experience, and I look forward to being a patient for many years to come.

After my first visit to City Dental, I am very impressed with the fine way they do business. They are very thorough. I have a sensitive mouth, but the hygienist was so careful I was pain free with shiny teeth! Dr. Shao gave thought to some issues I have and provided clear options. The office building itself is interesting with views over the city of the train station and Mt. St. Helens in the distance!

This guy is smiling the whole time he's reaching for your wallet. He said I had 12 cavities, only 5 months after going to my previous dentist. A second opinion said I have 1 cavity, and that's 2 years later. They also buy reviews. Look at all the 5 star reviews. Do you really think that many people love their dentist that much and have only submitted one or two reviews ever, and only for their dentist?

One of the best dentist I have ever seen. Staffs are well knowledgeable and have enough hospitality. Dr. Shao was nice, gentle, and cared about the patients. I was really afraid since this was first visit in the US, but they explained me the situation sincerely. Unfortunately, schedule did not work and I did not take his treatment, but if it did, I defiantly would like to ask him to treat my teeth.

I just had my new patient appointment here. I was super nervous because it’s been a few years since my last dentist appointment and I knew my teeth weren’t in the best shape, but everyone at City Dental was very kind and respectful. The office environment is super welcoming and the music playlist is great! Everyone was also great about using my preferred name. Highly recommend!

Looking for a new provider is always nerve racking, so when I was met with excellent care here, I instantly felt so much better. Angela, the dental hygienist, has always been amazing and is so sweet. The doctor listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. Every time I come in I'm met with smiles and all my appointments have gone so smooth. Would definitely recommend.

I had procrastinated because of the pandemic for 2 years and so I was definitely nervous to try a new dental practice. I have now visited twice and my experience has been A+ start to finish. Great team. Last visit I forgot my implant parts and they went above and beyond to locate for me so I didn’t have to reschedule. Dr. Amali is very personable. I highly recommend.

I have got my teeth cleaned here several times and have always had a great experience. The front desk staff is always very friendly knowledgeable, & pleasant. Additionally the Hygienists and Drs always are going above and beyond to make sure the customer experience is great. In general I do not love getting my teeth cleaned, but this office makes it enjoyable :)

My old dentist retired and shifted his patients to City Dental - I am impressed with cleanliness and updated technology, and more so, with caring hygienists and dentists. They answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable throughout a 4 hour visit (getting caught up on failing fillings). no dread! Really, far exceeded my dental expectations!

Let’s be honest. The dentist is not a fun trip, thankfully these folks go above and beyond to make you comfortable. I had to replace some fillings and they gave me tons of info about what was happening when it was happening. I was nervous and they walked me through it all. Overall an incredible pleasant experience for a procedure that isn’t fun.

This place is the best! All of the staff are so friendly, kind, and helpful. They always remember my name at the front desk, which feels so welcoming. Their office is very clean and all of their equipment is state-of-the-art (as far as I can tell--I am not a dentist but compared to the last place I went it certainly seems to be).

The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. Doctor Amali was attentive to managing my pain--I needed to have three crowns replaced, so that had been a concern. He and his assistants work smoothly together. A day later my bite is perfect, and I have no residual soreness. Their use of modern dental technology is amazing.

I love this dental office! The gentlest cleaning I've ever had. I also had a temporary crown put in and I don't think they could have done anything more to make it as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff are uniformly cheerful and kind. If you don't have a dentist you love, I'd highly recommend this practice.

Suuuuper warm and friendly office! My hygienist was very vocal about what she was doing, what was coming next etc and I found that very helpful. Noone wants to be surprised in a dentist chair :D She and Dr. Soroush Amali were very patient with all of my questions and it was a very non "judgey" atmosphere and vibe.

Really happy to have been recommended this dental practice. The space is modern and clean. I had a very thorough cleaning done by Jamie! Dr. Amali did a great job on my crown to fix a cracked tooth. Great communication on the plan and making sure I was comfortable and pain free. It's worth the drive into downtown.

I am very happy with the work Dr. Jason Bajuscak did on my teeth, they look awesome! While doing some fillings on my top front teeth he also filled in some ridges along the edges and it totally rejuvenated my teeth! My chompers also feel stronger. I keep smiling as often as I can to show them off. Thanks! :-D

City Dental is great. Just had a great initial appointment, cleaning and exam. It was a completely painless cleaning which for me is unusual. Dr. Bajuscak was caring, thorough, and friendly. The front desk staff was also wonderful. I highly recommend this practice and will definitely continue going here.

I was nervous about getting my root canal done yesterday, but everyone at City Dental made me feel at ease. Thank you to Diego, Doris, and Dr. Karl Shao for taking good care of me. And front staff for always being friendly and accommodating. Great dental experience. 10/10 You guys are the best!

Once again, something "serious" (well, serious to ME) came up, and City Dental took care of me right away. All care here is thorough and professional, but if you are fearful of dental work, you should also know how warm and friendly these people are. They listen to you and they are patient.

Really great dental experience. Every staff member is very friendly and inviting - which is good for me because I'm terrified of going to the dentist! They are very attentive to your needs and provide great options and plans if you need more then just a bi-yearly cleaning. 5 Stars for sure.

I was dreading tooth extraction which I had yesterday. PAIN FREE! Terrific service, wonderful dentist and hygienist. Was recommended to them by a friend and I will certainly recommend them to others! I have a plan, with insurance coverage, payments and times scheduled up front. No worries.

This place was a great find. Everyone from the receptionist to the Dentist made me feel that everything was going to be ok. They even gave me some snacks because they were concerned about my blood sugar during the extraction. Glad I found them, I have another appointment next month

My first cleaning with City Dental. It was fabulous! I highly recommend. Jaime was great, very thorough and thoughtful. My teeth feel so slick and clean! Dr. Shao answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. Great practice, looking forward to my next cleaning appt :)

I am someone that has pretty bad dental anxiety and was very fearful going into my appointment with them. Everyone I interacted with there treated me with such respect and kindness. I will definitely go back. If you are really frightened of dentists, this is the place for you!

We had some history with the office, with our daughter and granddaughter going here in the past. My wife and I were both totally satisfied with the warmth and professionalism of staff. And the dental care was top notch and thorough! The hygienist, in particular, was excellent.

I don't think I have ever had my teeth cleaned as well as I did here! The office was so inviting and calming and the staff who attended to me were so nice and pleasant to speak with. (When I didn't have tools in my mouth haha!) I am so glad I found them down from my office.

Dr. Shao is so gentle and has great bedside manner. I have a bit of trauma from my previous dentist and he made sure I feel nice and calm throughout the whole process. I’ve been coming here for a while and have nothing but great things to say about this place.

These folks at City Dental are so nice, considerate and caring. If you have fears about the dentist, this would be the perfect place for you! They tell you what they are doing at every step and make sure you are doing ok and are comfortable! Highly recommend!

they will charge you a fee if you get sick due to COVID. There is no policy in place to allow people who get ill < 48 hours in advance to cancel without a fee, exposing their doctors and nurses to the virus.

Everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable. Hygienist did a great job on my first cleaning since the pandemic began. She and the dentist worked with me to come up with a plan for the next crown.

For anyone who deals with anxiety, this may not be the office for you. I felt dismissed and patronized, and walked out of my appointment in the middle of treatment. Will find a different dentists office.

City Dental is an excellent dental complex. The secretary, assistant, and dentist are all professional and kind. Before them, I was slightly nervous when I had come by the dentist, but not now.
