Though the staff that monitor phones calls are highly qualified the adult education classes are run by unqualified adult primary school teachers which is worrying. The coordinators are rude volunteers and retired primary school school teachers that claim they know how to educate a adult cohort that has issues with the English language. One of these retired teachers who volunteers to teach spoke about the battle of Hastings to a student and when I asked her the importance of this battle to Britain she had no clue. The volunteer self proclaimed educator who runs the adult course is one of the rudest unqualified person I have ever met. Phobic and uneducated in handling meaningful adult contact. In my opinion the council should review this person and course since the coordinator could become a risk factor for a court case since she discriminates and is highly bias and suspicious of others and that includes the students. A trained adult teacher is needed for this course and a exam should be used as a instrument to qualify all volunteers for their skill levels. It was worrying to see and visit this centre as a qualified University Adult and Child educator and organiser. I run five schools two of which are universities and I was appalled by what I observed and heard. So if you are having issues with the English language I highly recommend to you a TAFE course since you will have qualified teachers that can and will teach you without cultural discrimination or gender bias. Onkaparinga Council please review this course as soon as possible for I foresee duty of care issues arising and discrimination and negligence claims against the council.

Unfortunately management bullies volunteers here. It is upsetting to have retiree ladies being screamed at aggressively by the manager over something trivial, like not watering pot plants. Even if you managed a prison it would be totally unacceptable to treat other people like that, let alone at a community centre. The centre also neglects it's privacy obligations by storing sensitive community data and child consent forms very insecurely. There are some good programs, but you're better off travelling to Woodcroft Community Centre where things are operated more professionally.

Been going here since I was a baby, my church used to use the facility, I've had a birthday party here (15odd years ago), attended my parents wedding here, attend the young mums program here hired by CBHS, bring my children here to use the playground and will also use the hall for my wedding in 2020. All staff are lovely and kind, the facility is always accommodating no matter the event. Very beloved by my family, will continue to use for a long time.

Beautiful venue and community centre. The surrounds and gardens gorgeous. The inside so very welcoming and paired with the volunteers at the desk it's such an inviting and welcoming centre. You can hire the main hall which is perfect for special occasions. There are different community groups on offer for us to attend and even a monthly meal to share. Also has a community pantry that is beginning to take off well.

Is a wonderful place to meet new people from the local area. It has many interesting classes and groups, there really is something for everyone. Those that are less fortunate in the community are cared for with a helping hand and a hot meal on Mondays. Anyone can come for the 3 course lunch on Mondays for only $5.

Great little facility. Kids had a wonderful time in the garden/play area out the back. Fully enclosed so parents and grandparents could relax while the small ones played outside.
