I slept before writing this to be as factual as possible. I called in asking if they replace rear backup cameras and was told yes and to bring the vehicle in for an estimate. I set up an appointment for Monday 7:30am and arrived to drop off my vehicle. When arriving, I told the rep. that the backup camera turns on and off and needs to be replaced. I was told there was a non-refundable diagnosis fee of $139 ($151 w/tax). I asked of the fee would be rolled into the cost of repair and I was told No. Ok, fine. Their shuttle service dropped me off at work. By noon I had not heard anything so I called and was told they were still working on an estimate but it could be several days before finding a part due to chip shortages. A few minutes later I received an estimate of $1,122 to replace the rear backup camera, not including thr $151 I had to pay for the diagnosis. The part charge was $522 plus labor. You can find an OEM part from a dealership for $260 online so CBA is charging a 200% markup. Labor cost of $600 assuming a rate of $150/hr puts the labor time of four hours. To replace a rear backup camera, you only need to remove the top carpet lining in the trunk, the left tail light, and four nuts holding the tail piece in which the camera is housed. The factory repair manual gives a time of two hours. I refused the repair, ate the $150 diagnosis fee which is unethical to charge when I told you what the problem was, and bought the part online. This place hides behind its "Christian" name but will screw you like the devil it is.

I scheduled my appointment online on a Friday for Monday morning. I of course don’t know much about cars so I walked in nervous and expecting them to notice my lack of car knowledge right away and take advantage of it. Far from it! Vicky was so welcoming and made me feel completely at ease. Dropped my vehicle off at 9, got a text soon after. It’s great that you’re able to communicate via text. By 3 I was told what was wrong and how much it was going to be. I gave the go ahead and my vehicle was ready the next day at 1pm! So kind, fast and honest with the quote I was given because that’s what I paid. I will def be coming back. Thank you Vickie for being awesome and Kaytlin for checking up on my vehicle after I had already picked it up.

Be extremely careful and check EVERYTHING behind them. I got a battery replaced that gave out a few months later. Whatever, still covered by warranty. However when I get to the office they tell me they don't even stock the kind of battery that was in my car--because they LEFT the old battery and charged me full price plus labor for the new one. Now they "can't help me" because they "don't sell this brand", and I'm out nearly $300. This place will scam you! Stay away! Edit: the super start battery was what was in my car already when I purchased the new battery. I cannot produce a Delco battery because it was not given to me. That was the scam part. Also one call when I am at work does not mean "several" attempts have been made.

CBA is an A1 business. They are friendly and courteous, straight forward and always on task. They made me feel at ease when my car broke down in the middle of a journey. Their service os A1 too and they communicate very well verbally and also by text so that you know exactly what is wrong with your car . You will be able to read what urgently needs to be done and what is recommended. They will also communicate to you what are good on your vehicle. As recovering skeptic of the car repair industry in general I am so thankful to Christian Brothers. (Space Center blvd) I was impressed with the level of customer service..truly VIP. Every single one of them was smiling, pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the issues thoroughly.They offer you a shuttle from/to where you need to be. I also appreciate the text updates I received through the process of the repairs. This level of service is a rare find these days. I was also impressed with how clean the facility was. Now ...I don't hope for car trouble, but if needed, I will be calling them in the future.

I went to Christian Brothers at 11600 Space Center for my suv. They ran a $200 diagnostic, there was several things came back, most important front brakes and a new battery. I Let them do the job , cost me 1400.00. Less than One month later ,had breaks lock up and break dust everywhere on tire rims! Also RPM was going up to 4000 going 20mph. Had it towed back to Christian brothers. They wanted another $200 diagnostic. I said they just did it less than one month. They told me one thing and it was another. Very dissatisfied with them. Will not go back. Had it towed elsewhere.

I've been going to these guys for a few years now. They are always friendly, educational, and accommodating. I run a local non profit dog rescue and so they try to make sure not to have my vehicle for too long. I usually have a rescue dog with me and they never complain about it. They are very loving and warm to any dog I bring and I never feel as though I'm inconveniencing them! They always make sure my vehicle is safe to be on the road and is always a pleasure working with them! Incredible group of people! I don't think I'll be going anywhere else!

I have a 2011 Subaru Forester. A couple of weeks ago the temp light started flashing sporadically. Topped off the coolant. The problem persisted. A friend swears by Christian Brothers, so I gave it a shot. Had my car back in a couple of days. Very professional and courteous. Fantastic that they have a shuttle service to take back home or to work, also to pick you up when your car is ready to go. Danielle is just the best! My little Subaru has some miles on her, so I will most definitely use Christian Brothers again when it's time.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation today. Very polite and friendly service, started at my scheduled appointment time and waited in their clean waiting area a reasonable amount of time for them to finish (+/- 45 min). Service reps text me with a multi-point inspection report with pictures and frequent updates while I waited. This will be my go-to auto service place from now on. Found out they also perform inspections on motorcycles so I brought mine in. I was told to walk in when I called. 10 min, 15 tops. Great service!

I wanted so badly to use C-brothers. Close to my home, local owners, etc. but $200 to diagnose on top of repairs is not my style. If i didn't use the shop to make the repairs then by all means charge me. But if I keep my car there and get it fixed...there shouldn't be a fee to diagnose the problem. AND...I already had it diagnosed twice with the same results so connecting the machine to my car and letting it read for 30 secs...doesn't cost $200 in labor. Office staff was very nice though.

I got my front grill active shutter fixed. I knew it was gonna be a while to fix. I dropped it off Monday, got it back Wednesday. The first two places I took my car to went even sure what the active grill shutter was. So when I got the estimate via text with pictures advising it's a 3 hour job, I was pretty relieved. Especially since my inspection sticker expired in 2 weeks. I got the work and inspection done there and couldn't be happier. If definitely go here for future work.

This is the second experience I’ve had at Christian Brothers and I am so impressed and happy with how efficient, expedient, and customer-service oriented they are. I was new to this location and needed my car inspected. I made an appointment online and was in and out in 20 minutes. I hope my vehicle doesn’t need any expensive work anytime soon but my two outstanding experiences have made me confident that I can trust Christian Brothers to be honest and competent.

I’ve been going to Christian Brothers for over 15 years and this particular location since 2013. My most recent visit was for an oil change, but I’ve used them for all my automotive needs over the years. They’re always friendly, respectful and honest. Unlike some places I used in the past, I never feel like they’re talking me into service add-ons that I don’t need. The shuttle service is convenient and much appreciated. My first experience at CBA was flawless. I needed a broken motor fixed for one of my car windows and was given the run around from 2 other auto shops before I made my appointment with CBA. All of my needs were addressed and my window was fixed within 24hrs opposed to the 2-3 weeks other shops estimated. Being able to text questions was also a huge plus to this lil millennial! CBA will definitely be my first choice for any of my car needs going forward :)

Terrible service, I booked an appointment for 2 pm and didn’t have my car seen until 2:47. and then they didn’t finish until 4pm. My daughter and I were waiting for an hour and a half to be picked up because of this. If you say 2 then it should be 2. Not almost an hour later. Also I was asked if I wanted to book for 5pm the day before and responded with a yes not even 10 minutes later. They said that it was already booked 40 minutes after that.

I usually get my oil changed at the dealer. However, I spent 3 days resetting passwords and attempting to get into the dealer website to schedule service. Finally, I went onto Christian Brothers site and in 10 minutes I had a reservation for 2pm the next day for an oil change and inspection. I arrived and in 30 minutes, I was back in the truck driving home. I barely had time to sit down…. The price was fair and I will definitely go back!

My experience at Christian Brothers was fantastic! I found a special price on an oil change when I goigled oilchange coupons. It was not a coupon but a special deal they are running through January for a full synthetic oil change. The employees were very nice and attentive. The only extra charge I had was for an extra quart of oil because my vehicle uses 6 quarts and not 5. I was very pleased with the service. And will definitely return.

Top notch customer service and communication. Initially took our Volvo to Bayway Volvo for AC repair; after 8 days Bayway still had not even looked at my vehicle. They couldn't even tell me when they would; even though I had an appointment from the very beginning. Took the car to CBA on Tuesday and it was ready to go by Thursday. Definitely recommend and we will go back in the future.

I know they don’t make much from inspections and oil changes, but because of the way I’m treated for the small things, I will be coming back for any other service as well. Had a front end alignment issue. They were very informative and thorough. Provided a shuttle to take me home and pick me up. When job was done, explained very completely what was done and told me what was needed to be done in the future. And the price was very fair.. I was having issues with a leaking sun roof. They diagnosed it and repaired it in one day. I had to wait two weeks for a good rain (in Houston?) to see if it was fixed. We had a good rain last night and I am happy to say, it is fixed! This is the second time I have used them and they are friendly and professional. Great people, highly recommended.

Extremely professional. The atmosphere where I waited was very clean & enjoyable. They were honest about my car. They didn't give me a grocery list of items that I needed to address right away (ladies I'm sure you can relate). They told me my car was in great condition & that the breaks might need to be replaced by my next oil change.

Service was great but office needs a little something. I had gone to Christian Brothers a few years ago and my husband decided to use them. He gave them his phone number and asked them to contact him. They continually texted me about his car. I would have to forward the text to him to arrange things. This was very frustrating.

Don’t ever go here!!! They will purposely leave your oil panel plug loose to make you think it’s leaking and that you have to buy something to fix it. Such a trash experience and business. Needs to be shut down asap
