There are multiple locations around SF and in some pretty unsavory areas but for whatever reason this location is so ridiculously horrible I had to ask if they were actually part of the family that ran the other locations and not just some randoms that were trying to capitalize on the name. Service is horrible the places is disgusting. The 2 times I went here I waited outside and made one of them bring my food outside to go. It smells horrendous and not too put too fine a point on it...the 2 times there were 2 employees working each visit and each visit they were 2 different sets of employees yet BOTH times they were complete A$$π¢|€§... THE FOOD IS SO GOOD at Chicos every location I've been to and I think the food is the same here but the side and disgusting places is what effects them quality of rating foods here. If you have to have Chicos, and I can tell you from experience it's that good that you have to have it, go just a few blocks away to the 6th Street location. Much better.

So a few of my cousins were visiting me in the US and we met up in SF and then we’re going to travel around Cali... anyways we were out one night and it was late and we were starving. I looked up food in the area and the only things open were Chico’s and this Korean place. The reviews for both were the same 4 stars on google and these guys wanted pizza so we could take it back and eat it at the hostel. The place was so dingy and dirty - which sometimes the best food comes from but it was also like full of shady people. Anyways we ordered our pizza before we realized and we got like a family sized large ... it was disgusting the toppings were like processed af the base was inedible ... i think I had one slice and was like nope I’d rather go to bed starving so we threw it out at the hostel and all went to bed sad and hungry :(

Slice couldn’t deliver after pizza already made so they cancelled. Picked up myself. Chicos got paid even though Slice cancelled but Chicos mgr insisted I pay for pizza again. Scammers got paid twice for same pizza. Seems dishonest. Pizza wasn’t awesome anyway. Definitely seems overpriced to me at $50 for two Z grade pizzas. I’d avoid this pizza place. Better ones around downtown that don’t try to get paid twice for same pizza. Yes. I would’ve gotten pizza free. But I was the one mucked around by Slice not delivering. Not Chicos. Honest and fair thing would’ve been to let me have the pizza since they lost nothing from it.

The infamous neighborhood slice. Chico's has multiple locations throughout San Francisco this one is one of my favorites. There's something about walking into an establishment where the hands are clean the floors are well washed and the smell of Pizza wasp through the air like barbecue in Memphis on a Saturday night. To the purveyors of Chico's Pizza located on Ellis Street thank you for the slice thank you for a well-put-together Greek salad and the fact that you have two very handsome men handling arms full of dough doesn't hurt either. Thank you for being a staple in a community of crazy while the hangs of hunger is creeping along the street. Welcome to San Francisco hidden gems

The next day.and the topings that are supposef to be "sausage "they use for thr meat of their "lasagna"..dont waste your money.crack head area crack head staff that make you wana punch them repeatedly.just saying...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. THEY CAN GIVE YOU A BURGER WITH. A RAZOR ON IT THEY. WILL TELL YOU TOUR LYING ..N LEAVE YOU HOLDING THE BAG AND RECEIPT..WORST FOOD I EVER ATE.

Good old fashion New York Style Pizza in the Heart of SF's Tenderloin, so it's an especially exciting location due to the increased likelihood that you may get stabbed. Gets the adrenaline pumpin! But don't fret, don't let that disenfranchise you.... Just don't make direct eye contact with any street people and you will be perfectly safe. And trust me: the pizza is worth the risk of extreme bodily harm and/or death. 4 thumbs up!

Their food is good, I always get the lasagna because it is so good. My boyfriend likes their hambugers and cheesesticks. Good variety, they even have fish, which is pretty good. If you order the deal that comes with a can of coke, be sure to remind them because they always forget. Still good and the people are nice. I always bring a backpack or a large bag to put my stuff in because I feel guilty walking past homeless people with takeout when they have to eat that gross food at Glide. Just something to be mindful about if you care about things like that.

  • Ramiro Rodriguez

Chico's pizza is consistently good. And most deliveries come with hot pizza. I'm talking about being forced to let it cool off before you can eat. If I'm home or near Chico's I'm ordering from there instead of another restaurant.

This place is my go to for whenever I’m in Frisco. Hands down. Yes, the area is full of drug dealers and users. Yes it’s not the best atmosphere for a family. But, the pizza is reasonably priced. The owners are happy to assist. And always of service. Wait time for a slice is about 5-10 min. It’s a large slice, cut in half. One for now and one for later. Under $6. Good luck beating that in the city!

They NEVER ALLOW ME THROUGH THE DOOR IT IS SO DISHEARTENING AND IT BRINGS MY SELF ESTEEM TO AN ALL TIME LOW BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE TIME I STEP THRU THE DOOR... THEY SAY STEP OUTSIDE YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE IT HURTS SO BAD BECAUSE BACK IN 2014 OR 2013 MAGIC AND MYSELF WERE THEIR VERY FIRST CUSTOMERS THE DAY THEY opened up him and I ate there and I STILL have the picture on my OTHER FACEBOOK ACCT the one I have not been able to access for three years now

  • Rickita Morgan

I love Chico's pizza, their pizza is delicious and you get a huge slice which they are nice enough to slice into 2 for you. If you'd rather not buy by the slice their whole pizza prices are very reasonable as well. Another plus is their menu selection is very wide stemming far beyond pizza. I had the philly cheese steak and fries which i would also recommend. If you're ever in the Tenderloin and want to grab a bite to eat keep Chico's in mind.

  • Ramsey Dunlap

I adore the Chico's on Ellis Street. It's just down the block from my house. The guys that work there are always nice and accommodating. A lot of the time, I adjust the item on the menu that I'm ordering, like I might eighty-six something, or add something, and the staff never complains. They just simply give me what I want. And the place is fast to boot.

Ordered for delivery: late, cold, and gross. Ordered 3 or something, got 2. The pizza was even cut poorly. The "cheesy garlic bread" was so bland, burned, and greasy no one ate more than a couple bites. The mozzarella sticks were mouthfuls of cold, hard grease. The pizza was okay-ish because everyone was hungry, but the crust was bland and burned. The desserts were smeared inside the plastic boxes. Wish I could get a refund.

  • Sara Bohannon

A man was overdosing on the floor in front of the counter, and the guy at the counter did nothing aside from try to take my order when I walked in. I called 911 and gave the guy chest compressions until the paramedics arrived and they gave him narcan. I think he's going to be ok but if you're going to operate a business in the Tenderloin, staff need to be trained on recognizing this kind of emergency.

  • William M

The best pizza in San Francisco. The owner worked very hard and now I believe there are 3 spots in San Francisco. I frequent the one off 6th street & Mission Street and the one in the Tenderloin often and always a great slice! They deliver too! You can't go wrong with this place also they make a great Philly Cheese Steak!

Truly the best pizza in San Francisco. Pizzas are ALWAYS loaded up with fresh toppings. They DO NOT skimp on ingredients. I dont think i have EVER had a bad experience or bad comment to say about Chico's. ITS THE BEST. DEFINITELY do go in to one of their 2 locations. Ellis street or 6th street. ALWAYS great food and great service. 7 ⭐s from me.

  • Anna Kozubovskaya

Chicos pizza is an alright place. I love the friendly staff but one complaint is that at times the food could be a bit soggy and doesn't taste very fresh..but if your lucky, the food (pizza) tastes great. You basically never know what your going to get.

SO good for a late-night pizza run. Great staff. Friendly, fast. Even late at night they throw your slice in the oven so it's hot with the cheese all melty-like. In my humble opinion as a non-professional pizza enthusiast, the cheese:sauce:crust ratio that Chico's has achieved is nothing short of masterful.

Just had their pizza delivered to our hotel room. The pizza was delivered in the promised timeframe ... AND it was hot. Best part? Was probably one of the best pizzas we’ve had. If you’re in San Francisco and in the mood for pizza ... definitely check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

  • jessie Sharp

Driver came 45 min late. Pizza stone cold along with other food. Totally inedible. The driver was not polite. He also didnt remember to bring the credit card machine and it was a very disappointing long awkward experience. I live right here so it sucks but I will never be using them again.

  • Joshua Yuan

Thanks for being open for that late night snack. Located in a kinda sketch area, so just keep that in mind when coming at night. The two guys didn't wear masks at all. Pizza tasted good for all purposes of that late night meal, but felt pretty expensive. I could come back though if needed

  • Tommy Horner

Wowww!!!! I had never experienced live karaoke... It blew me away!!! I always feel the best way to know what to order is to ask your long time server. And I was NOT disappointed!! Trust me.... Try the bacon, banana pepper and mashed potato pizza. You'll thank me later.

  • Matt Traywick

The primary reason I like Chico's is because they give back to the community. But it's a great pizza...and even better price: I just ordered an extra large cheese pizza for delivery. Including the 20% tip, it was only $22. Trying doing that at Dominos or Pizza Hut.

  • Jackson Asher

Great pizza. Large slices. Decent prices for the size whether it's a slice or whole pizza. They have a variety of pizza specials and other food such as calzones, salads, burgers, lasagna, fish and chips and small appetizers.

  • Sammy Wong

SOO GOOD. The area itself was sketchy especially at night since I went after the Giants game but wow. The slices are huge and super cheesy. The packets of cheese and pepper flakes is definitely a game changer. YUMM

  • Sherri Frias

The cheeseburgers here are so delicious! The burgers were so perfect, it literally melted in my mouth. Even my dad who is really picky loved his cheeseburger! Yummy. Can't wait to try their other foods. …

  • Christopher James Jones

The service here is horrible. When I order a slice they gave me 1 pack of shredded parmesan cheese, when I asked for another 1 they said NO. THEN I asked for 3 Dr Peppers on a bottle and they gave me can soda

  • Colleen Mathe

Great food! Had the Philly cheesesteak and the Pesto Pizza Special - both super great! We ordered for delivery online to a hotel - delivery was 10 minutes faster than the eta and the delivery guy was SO nice.

  • Tiffany Cabrales

I love the food all of it. I've eaten the pizzas in many different variety of combos. The calzones are good. I do prefer my meat calzones with sauce. The Phillies are great. The spaghetti is a great deal.
