I'm thankful this place exists because I rely upon Metro Transit to get to work and go about daily life stuff. So, in that sense, the Chicago Lake TC does its job adequately. The transit center is a constant hub of activity for better or worse, though. I've genuinely seen drug deals completed here and I prefer to wait elsewhere if possible because of the number of times I've been solicited while waiting for my bus. Most times I'm left alone but the number of times I've dealt with stressful events here (police intervention, loud yelling, etc.) isn't small. I wait here now because I have to. I hope with the legislation passed that I wait here because I want to.
