They ripped me off for $70 and they have been ignoring me for 2 weeks already. My first (so far the last) consultation was on Friday 22nd of September 2023. My appointment supposed to be 1:15 pm I walked in 1:30 pm and walked out 2:05 it means 35 minutes. I supposed to be charged $162 - consultation over 20 min - but I was charged $232 for the consultation over 40 minutes. I was refusing to pay, after short discussion I paid but I came back after few minutes to disagree with that again but same receptionist was still not helpful. Second receptionist came in the middle of conversation and was rude trying to tell me she warned me over the phone that first consultation cost is minimum $162. The third receptionist calmed her down so she left (what a magnificent approach to the patient receptionist no 2, bravo). And yes over the phone SOME lady told me that first consultation is minimum 30 minutes and cost is $162 and I agreed to that. But if their cost table (on the website and on the site) says that consultation over 40 min is $232 and my visit lasted 35 minutes it is a simple THEFT! Manager called me on Monday 25th of September, I told him the course of the situation. He said in system he sees my visit lasted 50 min. Yes, because doctor didn’t take into consideration that I came into her office 15 minutes later because she made a delay (my friend who came with me supposed to start 1pm but doctor asked her 1:11, she left 1:28 pm). I told him these exact numbers he said he will talk to doctor Chapman and call me Tomorrow which supposed to be Tuesday 26th. Of course NO CALL. I called the clinic Friday 29th of September at 4:20pm. Nice receptionist said she is not familiar with the situation, listened the story, took my details and said the manager will call me on Tuesday 3rd of October. Our conversation lasted around 3 minutes. I would not write this review if I received a call. It is Friday 6th of October and I am not going to take part in this GAME. I am going to report the Clinic in the NSW Fair Trading because this kind of treatment I received as a new customer and simply as a human in a country like Australia is UNACCEPTABLE. I would except this kind of behaviour in Poland where I come from and where recently people’s rights are violated all the time but not in AUSTRALIA. Btw dr Chapman (who is Polish background as well) is nice and helpful and I would like to come back but not if this case will not be resolved. $70 is a lot of money especially for an unemployed person. I am extremely disappointed.

Both my wife & I have been patients at this practice for more than 30 years. We have been treated for a variety of problems including my type 2 diabetes. Over the time we have been treated by 3 or 4 different doctors, the most recent being Dr. Allan Darroch who has been our doctor for the past year or so. He, like all the doctors we have seen in this practice, is very caring & friendly & most importantly he is highly experienced & knowledgeable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this practice as a very good source of G.P. medical service & they seem to be associated with some excellent specialists. Most recently Dr Darroch has retired & I have been very happy with Dr Yuen who seems very knowledgeable & is very friendly & considerate. I have for the past year been a patient of Dr. Yuen with whom I am very satisfied. He seems very good in diagnosing my problems & treating them successfully. I have no hessitation in recommending him.

Dr Yuen is fantastic, but the practice itself and the reception/management team are so incompetent it is honestly bizarre to me that this place has a 5 star average. My first time there I came in for my flu shot, which I was charged just for the vaccine, which was fine. Two weeks later I went in for my tetanus shot, and was told that I had to pay an additional over $100 for a 'consultation fee' when I had just had the vaccine, which was more than double what I paid for the shot itself. This is after I called them to double check whether there were any additional fees! When I was told that I would have never come in for such an expensive vaccine I was met with rolled eyes and the reception team saying that there was nothing they could do as their manager wasn't here. So weird - I definitely won't be going back. Not to mention that none of the staff (except the wonderful doctors) wear masks! Definitely do not recommend coming here.

I’m honestly very surprised this practice has a 5 star average rating. Whilst the doctors I’ve seen I obviously would go back to given I’m a recurring patient, there are probably more cons than pros to this centre. Without fail, always late. Currently 1hr post my scheduled appointment time and no notification that the doctor is running late which honestly is the least a practice can do. Some of the reception staff could probably do with more training. Overall go if you’re desperate, but until they can be a little more respectful of people’s time and at the very least advise patients that doctors are running late (if more than 30 minutes for example), I wouldn’t recommend new patients. This centre does charge, so this probably adds to my irritation regarding lack of notice for late appointments.

They are a evolution of a practice I have had for life and I see no reason they shouldn’t be yours. The transition of doctors I have had with retirement has been seamless. They have my history and have been brilliant. Dr Edmond Wong She is a caring doctor who looks after me. The transition to non bulk billing really hurts and limits my visits. Eventually as my health deteriorates and i require more frequent health care, i may need to look at alternatives.

We see Dr Edmond Wong-She and he is amazing. He has a lovely manner and calms my young son. A visit to see him isn’t stressful at all for my young children. Also he always ensures we have the information we need and all our questions answered. Highly recommend Dr Wong-She for any one looking for a doctor, he really takes the time to get to know his patients and provide wonderful care.

I was a walk-in at 4pm this evening not expecting to see anyone. The reception staff are extremely warm and welcoming… it was end of day but they were delightful. I met Dr Samantha Ting and was amazed by her warmth and I truly felt so cared for and unlike most places I have visited my experience was just fantastic. Lovely team of professionals. Dr Colin Chan has been taking care of my eyes for several years as I have corneal transplants . Last week he preformed a corneal wedge and I’m so happy with the results. He is so professional and intelligent but has the best bed side manner explaining all procedures in detail and giving you the best analogies to better understand. I highly recommend him. He is the BEST!

Although a busy practice, all care is taken to accommodate patients, even on short notice. The reception staff is incredibly professional, doctors friendly and refreshingly comprehensive. People seem to enjoy working at the practice, you feel like you matter, and the booking process was a breeze. I think I've found my new medical practice. Thanks again.

Always choose to go back to this clinic for the kids no matter how expensive it got. The doctors are the most thorough I have seen, and often get another doctor to come in to verify diagnosis. Dr Wong She, Dr Rowe, and Dr Hetterachi are amazing, I won't say the same for the younger and newer doctors that I have seen though.

I've attended this practice for many years now and am extremely happy with the service. Appointments are easy to make via HotDoc, or you can call: reception staff are polite and helpful. Waiting times are very reasonable too. I've tried a couple of other practices on the odd occasion, but nobody beats VAMP. Very satisfied.
