Let's be honest, purchasing a vehicle can be a stressful process and as buyers, well... certainly for myself, we try to mitigate some of that stress by trying to follow a straight forward process. One that is unencumbered with complication. Having been through the ringer with well known manufacturer's dealership, I walked away from the experience feeling dejected, disappointed and ultimately let down. Why was it so hard to find my dream car? That was when I came across Carr's Cars. Not only did they carry the car that I was after but it was also listed at a better price than anywhere else I had seen it. I immediately took to Paul and his process when the morning after putting in my enquiry he sent me a video tour of the vehicle in question. That afternoon I took the trip out to his showroom, met with the absolute legend Bart, took the car for a drive and in that moment decided that this was the dealership I wanted to support. 48hrs later I was waving to Paul as I drove out of the showroom in my dream car. We all know the reputation used car dealers have. I haven't bought a car from a used car dealer in a lonnnng time. And so it was with much trepidation I made the decision to purchase my latest vehicle from Carr's Cars. The reality of my experience however, goes a long way to dispelling the above legend. At least in Paul Carr's case. He doesn't discount the advertised price, which can be both a bit annoying and discomforting. That said, once you have made the decision to purchase, Paul really does go the whole mile to ensure your purchasing experience leaves you with no regrets. The car I purchased from him needed some wheel re-furbishment which he took care of incl. in the price. After delivery, I noticed a chunk missing from 1 tyre which Paul agreed to go halves in the replacement. He then noticed a chunk missing from another tyre, so organised a second replacement - still halves. Shortly thereafter I noticed a number of other issues, all within the 3mth warranty period. He also took care of those matters with no issues. Long story, short: The guy does what he says and appears to trade on his reputation. Which in my own personal experience is solid. And I would purchase from him again without concern.

We weren't necessarily looking to buy a vehicle in one day, but having sat through 2 appointments with uninterested salespeople at the large soulless car yards, it was a very pleasant surprise to meet Bart at Carrs Cars. Walking into the showroom you could immediately see this wasn't an ordinary car yard. The place was light, bright and spotless. There was an impressive range of cars on view, and they were all one owner, low km hand-picked, immaculately cared for vehicles, not just cookie cutter versions in different colours. As we picked our way through them all we came across the vehicle we had come to inspect. Well it was a no-brainer in my books. This car was perfect. Bart showed us over it, then we test drove it. My partner was quietly impressed with the condition of the vehicle, and as she had the deciding vote it was nice to hear how pleased she was as well. By the time we had got home it had been decided. We rang Bart back and arranged the final details. Their after sales follow up has been polite not pushy, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone to check out first. Corny as it sounds, you don't just get a car when you're there, you get a first rate experience.

Recently I asked Paul to be on the lookout for a Prado. I gave him a price range and a kms range and explained what we were going to use it for. Within 3 weeks Paul contacted me saying he had found one coming up for auction that might be worth considering. It was younger and with lower kms than we specified , so might be in the upper price range. We agreed to give it a go. That afternoon Paul rang to say he had managed to get it for a lower than expected price. They organised a full detail plus 12 months rego for us. When we saw the car we were blown away. This must be the buy of the century, the Prado being immaculate and including $11k worth of extras as an added bonus. We are absolutely delighted. Paul was positive and friendly and above-all honest and straight-forward about everything. I have no hesitation in recommending Carr's Cars to anyone looking for that special purchase. Paul and Bart at Carr's Cars Brookvale have broken the stereotype for car salesmen. They made the purchase of my 2017 Subaru Outback by far the easiest car purchase I have made in 32 years. Their niche quality is pressure free dealing - which they can do because they chose good stock. My internet research narrowed it down to 3 cars in Sydney (#1 at Carr's Cars , #2&3 somewhere in Western Sydney). As I was travelling down from the Central Coast for the day I didn't want to muck around. I went straight to Brookvale and never even looked at the other 2. Paul was fair and to his word on my trade in. I still got an independent inspection done of the 2017 Outback and the report mirrored exactly what Paul had told me - the car was in A1 condition and I love it! Thanks gents.

I purchased a 2015 Hyundai i30 from Paul at the Brookvale dealership and could not rate his service highly enough. Paul was good enough to drive the vehicle to my property (during Covid) so that I was able to take it for a test drive which was really convenient as i didn't have a vehicle at the time. I had one small issue with the vehicle's electronic locking not working after purchase however this was due to a flat battery (that Paul offered to pay for) and was resolved. You can tell Paul Carr loves cars as soon as you walk through the doors and spy his personal collection of collectables (when was the last time you saw a working Mescherschmitt?). More important for this review, he’s a decent guy that sells decent vehicles. I had a mechanic look over the “rare as hens teeth” Hilux and it came out top marks. Seamless sales process and admin. A refreshing “not negotiable” price policy so you know what you are up for. And when there was an annoying glitch with the new purchase’s battery, fixed immediately with no fuss. All up, never had so much fun buying a car.

UNCONSCIONABLE BEHAVIOUR! I am a 70 year old pensioner. As my car was "not worth much", I was given a trade in of $950. I had to pay $135, as I had a pensioner concession on my old car's registration. Consider my shock, when I discovered that my "not worth much" car sold for $4,950!!! They could not absorb $135 on a registration for a pensioner??? Lied to me about the value of my old car! Carr's Cars are totally - completely - utterly - MORALLY BANKRUPT! Excellent service every time.I heard about the vehicle, a Holden SV6 Ute, via a Leasing agent. I contacted Brett from the Erina dealership. He advised he would drive the car to Sydney the next day, as he had an appointment here. This allowed us to view it and decide we wanted it. Brett organised the window tinting at a great rate. The staff at Carr's were very friendly and helpful. The appointment system was great and helped the process to be seamless. We had a towbar fitted and so had to return to pick up the vehicle. Staff remained behind after hours to ensure we were able to pick up the car at a time that suited us. Even had plenty in the tank for our trip home! I would recommend anyone to give this firm a go. I have known Paul Carr for many years and have a purchased a number of cars from him. He has always looked me and is very trustworthy. So much so, that while I was doing my 14 day hotel isolation, I purchased a Honda CR-V from him, without seeing the car, except on the website. I picked up the car the day I was released from hotel isolation and was not disappointed. The car was everything he said it and more.

I had a very positive experience purchasing from Carr’s Cars. Paul’s videos were exceptional and made buying the car from interstate very easy. Even when an electrical issue was found with the driver’s seat, Bart and Paul organised for a new seat to be shipped and installed by a local auto electrician (several hundred km away from their dealership). This level of service is commendable, thank you very much.

Just bought my second vehicle from Carr's Cars. I came back because I know their product is excellent - usually ex-government with full service histories - and if it's anything less than excellent they'll happily fix it. As well as helping me into a great new car, they gave me a fair price on the last one I bought from them. What's not to like?

Couldn’t have asked for better service. Very rare that I can say I trusted a used car salesman but it’s true today! Bart was fantastic in addressing any concerns my wife and I had, he really went the extra mile. The bottle of wine was a nice touch also. Be aware ! We purchased a Mazda CX5 from them. Car sits in workshop most of the time even more than we drive it. We had to take the car back and forth to repair it several times. Its a lemon and now we are stuck with a blown engine car. WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY.
