The deli is great and the staff are very friendly, however the past two times I've gone I have asked for no mustard on my sandwich and got mustard anyway, which I'm allergic to, so I haven't even been able to eat my lunch. Unfortunately you can't see what they're doing behind the counter to stop them and they're wrapped and don't get opened until youre out of the deli and back to wherever you're eating and it's too late. Just a bit more attention to orders would be great. Otherwise it's great quality and the service is quick and friendly.

I love their sandwiches and the food I really do. I’m giving one star less because it’s really disappointing to order a brown bread because you are allergic to white and they give you white so you can’t eat your whole extra large sandwich without it literally causing you pain but that’s your only option for food because I spent my lunch money for the day on it. Otherwise I’ve always enjoyed the food itself.

The Calgary Italian Bakery makes outstanding bread, in quality, variety and value, Excellent! The sandwich's ect are great too, but mainly it is the people that make the experience here so wonderfull. The staff are lovley to deal with; they are rightfully proud of what they make, seem very community spirited and deserve all the five stars.

After several recommendations from friends this place did not disappoint. Awesome sandwiches, ingredients were so fresh! I also picked up some fresh pizza dough and pickled onions for homemade pizza that night. Staff were extremely friendly and very appreciative of our business. Happy to support a great local company.

Sometime I order from their rotating list of hot daily specials, but most days I find it hard to resist the extra-large freshly-made sandwich with your pick of 3x meat, 3x cheese, and vegetables. The delicious hot veggie spread makes it easier to fit all that in your mouth!

Super fresh, breads, meats & baking. Friendly, efficient service where workers recognize their clientele and greet them with warmth. You stand in a line to place your order and the line moves quickly. Great seating outside in clean patio surrounded by flower-filled pots.

Bread 3/5 Lunch Menu 4/5 I haven't worked there in years. I can say they don't care about the workers that's for sure. Bill is a great manager... Don't make me laugh. The son's will fire you in any way they can if they don't like you or cause too many problems for them.

I stumbled across this place randomly. A baker came out and told about everything they made, told us about the bakery, deli, and the company's history. They have really cheap bread, a fully stocked deli, and even desserts. If you're in the area, check this gem out!

This place is the undisputed, best of the best, sandwich king of the South. Always serving up delicious Italian sandwiches that keep you coming back. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10, and don't forget to add the veggie spread and onions. I don't even like onions!!

Awesome! Have had their products for decades from supermarkets, but wanted to try their deli Went today and wasn’t disappointed. Fresh sandwiches, made to order at very reasonable prices. Also had to get a loaf of sourdough and rye as well. Will return!

When I needed an enormous order of products at the last minute, Calgary Italian Bakery was able to accommodate us. I appreciated the effort put in by their staff to so quickly get back to me with information and find a solution.

You cant go wrong with one of their sandwiches packed with fresh deli meats or their fresh pizza dough or one of their desserts. Well priced, delicious and a small local business. They are open now so definitely check them out.

Italian bakery puts glass in their bread. When phoned to complain about the crunchy glass cutting my mouth up they did not acknowledge problem. They did not care. So sure buy their bread if you want to eat glass.

Best English muffins (dense and chewy) and classic sandwiches in town. You can get sourdough English muffins! They toast beautifully. Everything is excellent value and quality. Best of all, super friendly staff!

They have the secret best pulled pork sandwiches in the city. All their hot lunches are worth the trip, just be sure to arrive before 12:15 before they sell out.
