Great little cafe to stop and have a bite to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend this amazing little cafe. The staff are friendly and patient. It has an amazing little atmosphere. Saw it while driving to get lunch and decide to stop and give it a try. They have a wide range of food choices which all sounded wonderful, however I decided on trying “Nonna’s Italian Meatballs” which was absolutely delicious and serving size was enough to fill me up. I also tried their passionfruit Slice which was equally as delicious as the Meatballs. For drinks I tried a Chocolate Milkshake cause you can never go wrong with a milkshake and it was perfect. No other word but perfect, I ended up getting a second drink which was the Banana Espresso Smoothie and it was absolutely delicious. 100% would recommend coming here whether it be breakfast, lunch or a coffee date with a friend or family. I have no complaints at all and will definitely stop by in the future ♥️

Mother's day, but we arrived past the rush. Took over an hour to get food, and when we did it was heavily staggered and often wrong. Vege burger and waffles were nice. Waffles came out 20 mins before all the rest of the food though. GF eggs bene wasn't GF. Soy flat white wasnt Soy. Fruit toast came out very different from described on the menu - just two pieces of toast and some butter. When we asked for what was described, fifteen minutes later we got it back sans butter, with a tiny blob of ricotta (defs not honey ricotta) and one cut strawberry, still no icing sugar. We had to laugh cause it was honestly a bit absurd how poor it was.

I’ve only been coming to Gia for a couple of months or so now, but i now stop in almost every morning for two reasons: the amazing coffee, and the amazing staff. This cafe has an incredible vibe to it, and the staff always seem so happy to be there. In particular I would like to praise Jodie for her exceptional service. Her vibrant energy is infectious, and the fact that she remembers so many customer names and coffee orders is incredible - it’s a great feeling having your coffee order remembered when you’re in the most under-caffeinated state. She’s an asset to the business and I hope her efforts are recognised!

Lowkey neighbourhood vibe, friendly staff, food okay, fast service, tried to accommodate needs, not exceptionally well. Ordered Avo smash, chips and toast. Coffee and Iced Chocolate were delicious.

Very tiny and seating is at a premium in 3 areas: footpath (not much room here but will suit many), indoors (busy hum ideal for those who like the hustle and bustle) and out side verandah (a more sedate pace for relaxing). Coffee is great as is the food. But the menu is a little light on hearty options for a weekend breakfast. We keep coming back though because it is tops.

The food, coffee and service were impeccable. However, the thing that blew me away was that I had contacted at 8pm on a Monday to see if we could reserve a table for the next morning for my partners birthday. Not only did they respond quickly confirming the booking, when we arrived there was a cute birthday sign on the table and they gave him a birthday brownie. Was not expected, but was very much appreciated.

Very inviting wholesome cafe. The owner welcomed us inside and let us know what was a recommendation. We went with the avacado toast and a bacon and egg burger as pictured. Very flavourful and great prices. We were let know of all the water stations around if not interested in a coffee. Food came quickly and presented very well. Glad we decided to stop by, definitely on the list to to comeback for a lunch.

Very pleasant, family run cafe. Lovely food, very pleasant staff. Inside can get a bit warm since the grill is located nearby, but outdoor seating is limited and undercover areas are small. It's not a large place so avoid the brunch rush if you want a seat. Lunchtimes are generally quiet on the weekends.

Waffles were really good. Bacon and eggs were okay. But my toast was covered in grill oil. It's gross to me that they would oil the toast instead of butter, or at least should have given me the choice because I felt sick eating it. Staff were okay but abit apathetic like they hated their job

Great local cafe with really nice atmosphere! The food is tasty and the serving size is good. Wish there's more menu options though. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Note that the kitchen closes 30 mins before closing time, so plan accordingly if you're after the cooked food

Wonderful friendly warm service by Jodie, great character. Homemade sausage roll with salad soooo nice and great price. Lovely, clean, with lots of plants in a great neighborhood. Lots of attention to details on their decor. They even have a small playground for the kiddies, perfect for families with kiddies. True hidden gem. We'll be coming back guys ! Thank you

  • Richard Townes

Lovely little place. Vary friendly staff, very accommodating. Great food, the best eggs bacon Benedict iv ever had along with a smoothie. Very nice, costing was tipping the high scale for 2 adults with same order $65-70. However nice place. Accommodating for children with playpen. We're not really noticed upon leaving However. . Would definitely go there again

I've been coming here since it first opened and I lived around the corner! The food is lovely, they also do lots of gorgeous homemade goods like Portuguese tarts. The corn fritters are a favourite. Coffee is great - and strong, and they have giant cups if you need one. The staff have always been wonderful. Very family and dog friendly too.

  • Zita Harris

Found this little treasure while having a week of treatment at the RBWH which is very close by. Have been here 3 days running and each day has been great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Coffee is GREAT! The food is excellent with very generous servings. I highly recommend Cafe Gia and will definitely be back when back in Brisbane.

  • Liezel

Always love coming here! The team is always friendly. The coffee is delicious, especially the one shot dirty chai latte. The food is delicious. There is place to sit outside at the back or the front and there is water for dogs. Great for a stop after a walk or delicious breakfast or lunch. There is also parking at the front.

Such a lovely and welcoming cafe! From day one the team have always done everything in their power to ensure everyone that walks in feels like they’re part of the GIA Family even the furry friends! Will always recommend Cafe Gia to anyone wanting tasty food, great coffee and a warm friendly atmosphere all in one!

Lovely place with amazing coffee! The beans tasted like it was freshly roasted beans that were extracted well. Meatballs and napolitan sauce were delicious. Not overly salted. Its was just right. We sat at the alfresco area, it was nice and cool. But we need a few fly traps, by our count, we had 50 odd flies.

  • AJaquest

I visited for 45 mins ahead of a meeting, the service and coffee were excellent. I had to work from my laptop and the staff were so accomodating, allowing me to plug my computer in and gave me their wifi details. Great cafe :)

What a great place! The cakes are delicious. You can buy hot drinks in mugs the size of swim pools. The outdoor seating is peaceful and relaxed. But the real winner is the friendly staff. This was my first visit but I know I’ll be back. We live 45 minutes drive away but it’s worth the drive.

  • graham thomas

It is often difficult to find what I consider to be healthy food (avoid saturated animal fat, plant based + seafood). Cafe Gia has great fritters with accessories and beautiful presentation. Really did the trick for me today plus they were most obliging & made a turmeric oatmilk late.

  • Von street500

What a hidden treasure! Ordered the eggs Benedict which was delicious- homemade hollandaise sauce was so good i wanted more! Chai latte was perfect. Situated in a nice quiet place, with indoor and outdoor seating (easy walking distance from the Cancer Care Charles Wanstall Apex Lodge).

  • Peter Morris

It’s hard to set yourself apart in the cute cafe market but Cafe Gia takes it to a new level. Awesome suburban vibe, genuine service and a short but sharp menu. Plus I don’t think I have ever had real chocolate on my cappuccino . This is a must for your Brissy breaky list. …

  • Ross Knox-Prior

Nice cafe. Terribly overpriced considering the amount of high quality cafes in the area. Charging $4.5 for a small coffee and not changing the price for a macchiato is silly. $14.5 for piece spinach pie? Come on man really?

Great service. Food and coffee fantastic. Service is quick and efficient as are the staff, friendly and always willing to help. Had breakfast this time ‘Big Breakfast’ you have to try, just great like everything else. Yes it’s ok to share.

Relatively expensive for what you get, plus we were overcharged (although happily refunded of course). Food we had was nothing special for the prices, with no reduction for takeaway-only options which other cafes are offering. Fruit toast
