Went into this bar with 3 other friends. A few of us badly needed to go to the bathroom and the blonde barmaid started yelling at us as we were going down the stairs to the toilet. She managed to stop my friend and forced her to buy a drink so my friend obliged and tried to pay by car and got the response “we don’t accept card” so my friend proceeded to dig into her bag to find the change to buy the drink. Meanwhile, we came back from the toilet and went to grab a seat in the very empty seating area (no surprise) where you could smoke. Myself and my friend who bought the drink sat down and our Other two Indian friends came over to sit dow but before they could even take their bags of their back or sit down, the barmaid came over and said “what can I get you” to which we replied “can you just give us 2 minutes to decided what we’re having” to which she replied “noooo....you’ll tell me know”. I replied with “why right now??” And she said “because I said so and thats why” so my friend said “but we aren’t ready to order yet we don’t know what we want yet” so she proceeded to kick us all out and said “you can wait outside while your friend finishes her drink”. Needless to say she didn’t stay and finish the overpriced €5.50 glass of coke we were only able to order. Possibly the worst bar I have ever been in with the most rude barmaid. What has happened to customer service? If you want a nice time, avoid this pathetic excuse for a pub. An absolute con of an establishment. Plenty of really nice friendly bars to go to instead of this dive!

Be careful. Avoid. They will try to scam you or confuse you to weasel you out of more money. Had a very strange and uncomfortable experience with the elderly bar lady. We ordered two drinks and pringles then paid upfront. We were handed the full order. When we were done and getting ready to leave, she asked us if we wanted to settle our bill? We said we had already paid and showed her the receipt which we still had, but she kept insisting and repeating that we definitely didn’t pay, even claiming that the receipt we showed her belonged to previous customers. What made her shut up was showing her the charge from our bank clearly stating the time and place (Hot or Not). That’s when she changed her tune, and explained that she meant we didn’t pay for the pringles only. (even though she was making a fuss about us not paying for a single thing just a moment ago) I asked her how we were supposed to know it wasn’t added to the order which was all placed at the same time. She unapologetically just said “No, it wasn’t added.” With such a cocky attitude. I kept asking her why she didn’t charge us for the pringles when she clearly gave us all 3 items after paying. What happened was obviously a failed scam. She left out the pringles on purpose knowing we wouldn’t check the bill and tried to hustle us out of more money. If we didn’t have the detailed bank charge she would’ve probably made a scene and called the cops. Which is a situation no visitor and paying customer wants to endure on their vacation or trip.

First time I came here bar-tender said the Liverpool game would start soon but in the end it was a “technical problem “ so I had to find quickly another bar . Second time I came there to watch the game it was the same bar tender and I asked for white se sweet or sweet but she said they don’t have it . I asked if I want to taste before I order the staff they have but she said no . You can only buy . In the end it was the shi wine I ever had . She saw that I didn’t drink it and asked if I want smth else ? And when I said no she said I CAN NOT SIT THERE BECAUSE TO SEE THE GAME I MUST BUY AT LEAST 2 DRINKS . By the way that glass cost me 8 euro .So she forced me out . This is the last place you should go to see the games . Liverpool won that day , 3- 0 . Bar tenders name was Olga . And she is fat .

Ayer pase un mal momento en este bar. Soy latino, no hablo inglés pero igual entre con mi chico pedimos dos cervezas y nos sentamos, estando ahi la mesera nos trajo dos shots segun ella cortesía de un sujeto o eso entendimos ya que hablaban en ingles y no entendí mucho de lo que decia, luego el sujeto intentó entablar una conversación pero fue imposible por el idioma, nosotros terminados nuestra cerveza y al momento salir la mesera me entrega mi telefono (que me hizo el favor de recargar) y nos cobro 13€ por los dos shots que ella nos llevo a la mesa sin pedirlos y que se suponía eran una cortesia. ‍♂️ situación que me parece un descaro porque ella misma llevo los tragos regalados nosotros no los pedimos y luego los cobro descaradamente al salir.

Bueno ... nada que decir, más que ... absolutamente sobre valorado. Los tragos son una estafa!!! Demasiado...exageradamente caro! Un vaso de coca cola me salio €6.5 La calidad deja mucho que desear, solo había una persona atendiendo y que debía garzonear, atender caja y bar tender, por lo que...obviamente su humor y trato al cliente no fue para nada agradable, nos cobró cuando íbamos a la mitad de nuestro trago (solo le faltó que nos indicara la salida) Y ADEMAS ....TE COBRAN EL USO DEL BAÑOOOO! En resumen salimos más pobres y más sobrios. Para eso...me quedo de fiesta en mi casa... wuajajajahajshshsjajsjshajs

This place is amazing and the bartenders are all fabulous. The people-watching from this place is THE BEST and the fact that you can drink and smoke in the same location is a huge plus. While I wish there were more seats that looked out onto the street, I cant "ding them" for being geographically challenged. This place is great and the people who run it are all wonderful (caveat: I did see one instance where one of the bartenders did get rude with a customer, but in her defense, the customer was ignorant, drunk, or stupid - not sure which - and the bartender was a LOT more compassionate and patient than I would have been). Get there early and get a window seat - it is WORTH IT!

El sitio donde peor me han tratado, estas obligado a beber rapido o te echaran a gritos, no importa que no te hayas terminado la consumición, puede que parezca exagerado, pero es EXACTAMENTE así. A los 20 minutos de haberme pedido una pinta de cerveza vino la camarera preguntandome que que quería, al decir que estaba bien de momento me dijo que tenia que consumir o marcharme del local, al negarme alegando que estaba aun bebiendome la cerveza comenzó a dar gritos increpandome que me fuese del local, que si no consumía tenía que irme de allí, vergonzoso que pase esto en "la ciudad mas tolerante de Europa".

Juste l’ambiance.... qui est bonne On ce fait agresse par ce que on pose un paquet de cigarettes sur la table en s’asseyant... Serveuse désagréable n’aime certainement pas certain type de touriste. Seul intérêt la possibilité de fumer en intérieur sinon rien Consommation pour ma part chère 6€ une corona à peine fraîche Point positif une clime qui nous coule dessus bref mauvaise expérience je trouve ça dommage quand on est touriste et que l’on attend que ça .... Serveuse change de métier...:(

Easily one of the chilled out quiet with good music bars in Amsterdam city centre the staff Behind the Counter was very nice and extremely helpful. What I loved about this bar was the fact that smoking cannabis was allowed inside the premises and the staff was always happy to keep warm in as much as the smoke out. Smoking Tobacco Is Not Allowed. I will most definitely come back to this bar the next time I'm in Amsterdam. Really looking forward to it

We popped in to use the restroom as one of my mates needed to go we waited outside for 10 min , we got concerned and entered to see are mate cornered by the bouncer and waitress screaming focing him to buy a drink as he used restrooms, we immediately got confronted to pay for him using the restroom. We were close to calling police but we didn't want it to ruin are night. Dont give these people a cent!!

Lo mejor de este sitio es su camarera Roxy, cercana, super amable y atenta a todo, es la mejor. La zona está super bien, muy ambientada, aunque para ambiente dentro de este bar con los temazos de la Roxy. Precio habitual de amsterdam, se puede fumar marihuana dentro además de pedirte unos cubatas chulisimos made by Roxy y unos chupitos.

Check prices before you buy. My mistake, but never thought Smirnoffs and a few Jamesons and beers would lead to a £200. Count your drinks too, not sure if the bartender took advantage of the fact we were drinking there long and not paying attention to prices or drinks ordered. Charged 13 shots, I would have been plastered. Avoid avoid avoid.

Extremelly bad service, the place was not full and yet the waitress was hurring us to choose our drinks and pay for them right after like she was trying to get rid of me and my two friends. She also used a very rude tone to say that if we already entered the place, we were obligated to consume one drink each person at least even though one of us didn't feel like drinking.

Völlig überteuert. Für 2 Getränke (Gin Tonic und Vodka e) 32 Euro... kitschig und trotzdem hat es ein wenig Charme.. die Bardame war nett und auf Zack :) das man als zahlender Gast aber noch für die nicht sonderlich gepflegte Toilette zahlen muss, war etwas drüber ;) aber es war trotzdem ganz lustig...

Excellent place to grab a bite, drink a beer or just have a smoke. Prices aren't the cheapest, if you are going alone, but in a big group you can get more for cheaper. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Food was quite good also, portions are regular sized, but enough for one person. Definitely a place to check out when in Amsterdam.

War für uns der coolste Shop dieser Art in Amsterdam. Bedienungen, Putzfrau, Ambiente.. Alles sehr eckig und kernig, aber voller Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit. Immer wieder gerne, zumal die Preise im Leistungsverhältnis sehr erschwinglich sind.

Don’t come here. The staff is horrible. The waitress mistreated me and my friends because 2 of us didn’t want do have any drinks. She was very rude and yelled at us to “LEAVE IMMEDIATELY” because only one person was drinking beer.

The best Our experience was extremely positive, the girl serving us and their music was freaking awesome!! We had a lot of fun and drinks, we will go back again on our next visit for sure! I see many saying it’s too expensive, you’re in Amsterdam, what do you expect?

Horrible bar staff, charged €15 per cocktail glass, she wanted money first, then gave out drinks, no pitchers she said just glass €15 each!!!!!! Then told one friend she couldn't sit and talk to us because she wasn't drinking!!! Rip off place...... DON'T GET SUCKED IN

Had a fun time at this bar. The Nicaraguan guy behind the bar seemed to be enjoying himself as much as we were . He let us take over the jukebox for a while. Good vibes from everyone here.

Pro: Nice stuff, cute place, you can smoke inside, but only without tobacco! Contra: the music is very loud, you can hardly talk. Drinks are very expensive and there is not much choice. Don't even order Heineken, they dont have it.

Extrem unfreundliches Personal, mit überteuerten Preisen. Uns wurden das falsche Getränke gebracht, welches wir trotzdem bezahlen sollten. Als wir uns weigerten wurde mit der Polizei gedroht und die Tür Steher hielten uns fest.

If I could give more stars ,I would. The best bar ever, the best view. The best bartender Oksana, I love you. I am coming back to Amsterdam for sure and this bar is one of the reasons.

Bar is small and very expensive. In a short period being there barman was acting as a salesman to sell some shots, picking customers drinks as if they were finished or to sip some. Felt awkward as hell.

The third bar I visited on my first trip to Amsterdam. Roxanne served us. Fantastic music great quality beer and great priced cocktails and shots. March 2016. Great tip jar too! lol.

What ever you do, do NOT eat the nachos. They were terrible and I'm pretty sure their "tomato sauce" is marinara sauce. I got food poisoning and ended up in the bathroom all night!

Dark, loud, tobacco strictly prohibited. One of the rare places we found where you can smoke and drink beer at the same time. They have a herbal mix on every table you can use.

This place is great! Affordable and friendly- except the lady who won’t let you use the toilet without 50c! Beware haha. Other than that, positive experience and would return.

I was here with 3 friends. Bad service, baid waitress, no hot drinks at 17:00 on a sunday... I wouldn‘t recommend this place to tourists.
