Let me start by saying that I have been here 3 times in the past two weeks I have been to this pharmacy 3 times. My mother has been diagnosed with cancer and I have been put in charge of all her medications. Last week, I was sent to pick up 5 prescriptions. I was working with the older man on staff at night. She had called ahead to make sure they were all good to go and she was assured that was the case. I walked out carrying 2 of the 5 needed medications for various issues. One in particular there was an issue with the date it could be refilled. I was given 3 COMPLETELY different answers to my 1 question by 3 different clerks. For the second medication, it was listed under the wrong doctor. The one it was listed under was a former doctor, therefore, there were no refills. I told him to look under the current doctors name and was told that there was nothing in the system under that doctors name either. My mom finally had to go up there two days ago, the prescription was under the new doctors name. They were attempting to bill the incorrect insurance company on another and the third was finally called in by the doctor. Rene (sp?), the insurance clerk, was a HUGE help. She was very professional and took care of all the previous issues and that all three would be ready to pick up the following day (yesterday). So yesterday, I go in to pick up the 3 medications that Rene took the time to fix the previous day. I was working with the same older gentlemen on the night shift. He again told me that the medication had not been authorized by the insurance company. I assured him that Rene had solved all the problems the previous day. To which, he denied there was a person that worked there of that name and refused to help me any further. I asked if they could call the insurance company to straighten it out, because there was an obvious issue on their part. They refused to do that as well. So I called the insurance company, while standing in the waiting area, and the insurance representative was able to catch the problem immediately. They were trying to bill for the medication under the wrong date (5 days earlier, before the authorization was made). So I went back to the counter to tell them that they needed to change the date. They were still unable to figure it out and had to call the pharmacist over to help, which she did and was able to solve the problem immediately. It seems to me that there needs to be some change and/or training with the clerks at this pharmacy. I will not go in there again to wait 45 minutes to pick up prescriptions that were supposed to already be filled and ready to go. I am disappointed in the professionalism and their customer service at this store. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

The persons in charge are not helpful. I was really needing a prescription and did not understand that my insurance would be able to pay for a 30 day supply and could only cover a 90 day supply. I'll admit, I'm not an expert on the ins and outs of insurance and the way that my policy needs to function in order to get scripts filled. However I would think that if you were a professional and wanting to truly help you might review the different options that can be taken when a person is truly needing a script for their well being. Like offering to have them pay out of pocket to pay for their script bc they really need it until they can figure out the best solution to that obstacle. Regardless, that wasn't offered. What was offered is that I get my doctor to send another refill to the pharmacy, and did not emphasize the importance of requesting a 90 day supply. Though they did mention it and it is my fault for not completely understanding that, it turns out that they could sent a 90 day request to my doctor. I didn't find this out until my second trip to get this matter resolved where I was treated poorly by the same pharmacist from early. The other pharmacist that was working on my second trip explained that he could send in another request and I, myself had to pitch the idea of possibly paying out of pocket to get my script, which I could have done the whole. The medication was a very time sensitive issue and it will now take me some time to recover due to this delay. I am very unhappy about the way I was treated and not helped. Furthermore, I have no option but to take my business elsewhere, hopefully a pharmacy that I won't run into this problem at. I had a word with the pharmacist that did help me and explained that although I might be at fault for not being the smartest person in the world, it would be nice if I could be helped to understand things better in the future if and when these issues come up.

A Pharmacy requires a degree of trust. When they break that trust, you should look elsewhere for your pharmacy needs. I’ve been using this CVS pharmacy and had a few issues, but continued to use them because they hadn’t reached the level of incompetence. Today that changed. I had an issue with a prescription that my doctor called in multiple times, once for monthly and once for 3 months at a time. They said the 1 month superseded the 3 month supply, despite the fact I’ve been getting 3 month supplies for years. I had my provider resend, and once he had done that I called the pharmacy to confirm they had the right prescription, which they did. They texted me to let me know the prescription was ready for pickup. When I arrived, they said the new prescription was unfillable because the provider had written it x20 instead of x12 , despite having texted me to say it was ready, and wanted me to take the one month supply. Note the one month supply end up costing double a 3 months supply. I feel like they were just choosing a path that increased their profits. A) why did they text me to say a prescription was ready that when I arrived they said was “unfillable”? B) if they received an “unfillable” prescription why didn’t they contact the provider (or me) to get it corrected? C) They proceeded to return the prescription to filled status and texted me about picking it up, which meant the pharmacy I moved the prescription to was unable to fill. They try to hassle a customer as much as possible.

The register needed an attendant's approval while I was checking out. The man that helped was so rude and seemed annoyed that I needed assistance. I was unsure as to why the system alerted for an attendant anyway. Every time I go to this location, the only option to check out is self check out. So I am not sure why the employee acted like he wasn't at work and that I interrupted some personal matter. Is he not there to attend to the counter? \n\nAs I was leaving I saw the UPS access point sign and I had a package in the car for UPS that was labeled and ready for shipment. The same man did not want to accept the package and I wanted to make sure that my shipment was sent. I informed him he was very rude and lacked customer service skills and stated that I would drop it off at a UPS store since he was so inconvenienced. He did not apologize or attempt to resolve the situation. Your store has very high prices for the items that you sell. I shop there because it is close to my house.\n\nThis location now lacks cleanliness and customer service. You should retrain or fire the man who was involved in today's interaction. You should have people with no social skills working in the back and not with customers.

From the moment I stepped into CVS going to utilize their Pharmacy, I was taken aback by the warmth and enthusiasm emanating from the associates. Abbas, the welcoming associate, greeted me with such zeal that for a moment, I felt as if I had walked into a Chick-fil-A! His cheerful "Welcome to CVS" resonated with me, reminding me of the value of genuine human interactions which, sadly, seems to be dwindling in our fast-paced world. Equally commendable was my experience with Minh, the pharmacy associate. His extensive knowledge, paired with a genuinely kind and reassuring demeanor, ensured that I was both confident in the accuracy of my medication and satisfied with its pricing. It is rare to find an associate who can combine expertise with genuine care in such a seamless manner. In an era where personal touch often takes a backseat, CVS Pharmacy – through associates like Abbas and Minh – has managed to keep the spirit of genuine service alive. I am grateful for the outstanding experience and will undoubtedly return, not just for the products, but for the remarkable service as well.

I am a physician and have never had such poor service from a pharmacy. I called a prescription for a patient yesterday and left the information on the doctor's line. The patient went to pick up the prescription and the pharmacy had no record of my call. I called back today, was put on hold for almost an hour and finally hung up and called back again. And again I was put on hold for a long time. My wife called the store number and they said they were understaffed and would get the pharmacy. She was also put on hold for a very long time and nobody came back to explain what was going on. Finally, after a very long time, the pharmacist finally picked up my line and I was able to give him the information. I am very disappointed with the service, or lack of service at your pharmacy. I do not know if there is a lack of pharmacists but this was uncalled for and I will let my office personnel know how bad your pharmacy is and suggest other pharmacies.

This pharmacy could quite possibly be the worst run, most mismanaged, unorganized pharmacy in the history of all pharmacies in the entire world ever. No one knows where your scripts are and more than half the time they're not ready even if you call them and they confirm they are. Countless times our physicians have said they called in the scripts but for some reason CVS never seems to have it. Don't even bother using the drive through if there is more than one car or you'll be waiting for at least 20mins. I live for the day this place gets it together so we can start going again. Location is convenient but we just can't stand the headache that goes with it.

As usual, the staff at this CVS seem like they were cashiers at the Dollar Store yesterday. I call in advance to make sure my wife's prescriptions are ready. When I drive up, the tech is too busy with a conversation to find out what I want. When she finally does ask me and get the prescriptions, she THEN asks if my wife has insurance. My wife has filled prescriptions here for years. So I find the insurance cards, give them to her andxwait at least 10 minutes to get the scripts. Meanwhile a line of cars has formed behind me. 30 minutes to get this seemingly simple transaction complete. And this is the rule, rather than the exception.

Let me add my one-star review to the others. Prescription wasn't ready, even though I was trying to pick it up 24 hours after the scheduled time. I waited while they filled it, only to discover when I opened the bottle they had put in 6 pills, not 8 as the prescription required! (And I had paid for 8 pills, too.) Here's how my complaint about this matter was answered: "I spoke to the tech who filled the bottle, he was SURE he put in 8. There's nothing we can do for you." From now on, I'm filling my prescriptions somewhere else, not this location. I strongly recommend you do the same.

I left after 45 minutes of their pharmacist submitting incorrect insurance information & getting a wrong approval then having to re-submit the request, then telling me that they were out of the drug and i'd have to come back in 3 days. (for Lantus Insulin in an emergency situation.) I was also told hey were going to have to charge me 445.93 when the correct co-pay, as later confirmed by the insurance co was only $90.00.

I was blocked on CVS parking today for 30 minutes could not get out, talked to CVS truck driver and personnel in CVS warehouse to move this truck so I can get out, CVS truck parked right on fire line without any flashing lights or orange cones marking his unloading location, blocking five cars on parking! Pictures attached for review, Avoid this place very unsafe and unprofessional behavior, ridiculous!!!!!!

I never have a problem here. Sometimes they don't have the products I'm looking for but I think they are on it in the pharmacy and with customer service. Don't know why there is such a low rating for this store. Maybe the turnover rate is high but the long term staff is very friendly. I guess I'm jut coming in at the right times or something. I don't go to any other Cvs stores unless it's more convenient.

  • Nick Ford

The pharmacy is fantastic. My wife and I had to pick up a prescription during the Texas winter storms and the pharmacist was able to help quickly fill the prescription even though he also was helping customers on the phone and the drive through. Couldn't be happier with the experience we had at this CVS. All others were closed and we were losing hope. Grateful that the pharmacy team here is outstanding.

  • Brooke Krengel

Awful. Gave the pharmacy our updated insurance, they didn’t input it correctly and sent a claim to our previous insurance company. Flash forward a couple months, we got a bill. Took it to the pharmacy and they tried to run it through the correct insurance. Guess what? It was too far back for our current insurance to cover. What is CVS’ response? “Oh, yea, so, you owe money”. Again, awful.

  • David Collins

This is the most poorly run pharmacy you will ever encounter. I quit using it a long time ago, but my wife still does. The turnover is constant, and no one has a clue about customer service. It is always disorganized with cluttered work spaces, and you can bet they will be out of even the most basic medicines. Obviously, CVS does not care because it has always been like this.

I went to this CVS for my COVID and flu shots. This place is so organized, and the people working here are caring and friendly. I wasn't there 15 minutes. I was a walk-in; you might want to make an appointment bc they said they don't always have extra Covid shots for walk-ins. Very happy with the kind and quick service. Thank you!

  • Sherterica B

This is the worst CVS I’ve visited!! Called the inside to see where to get the COVID test and lady told me to come inside. After waiting in line the lady in pharmacy helped the guy behind me and didn’t acknowledge me. Was told to go back outside and call a number for COVID test appointment and the person never answered the phone.

  • Wooten

If you're going for Covid testing..DON'T DO IT. They never verified my identity, Had an appointment, was 5 minutes early for self testing, still waited 20 minutes. Checked the app, they have me down as another person in the system. Horrible! What should've been a breeze was a waist of time and horrible customer service

  • The Fabricator General

Don't waste your time trying to get photos here, the machines are broken. They also have the worst pharmacy staff of all time. Always huge lines and slow service. Last time I went two employees had a shouting match at each other over who was going to work the line. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.

  • lauren jones

I’ve been shopping here since before it was CVS, amazing and welcoming staff at this store. The employees such as Megan, Diddy, Johnny, etc always do their best to provide excellent customer service. Will definitely continue to shop here, those long receipts are all coupons that keep me coming back!

  • Keith McCook

What's the point in saying the pharmacy is open until 9pm if you turn away customers at 8:49pm?!?! The tech said 'there's a 24 hr one down the street'. Yep, there's also Walgreens - who filled my script in 10 minutes. At 9pm (Montfort /Belt line location open pharmacy open until 10pm, FYI!).

  • Jennifer Cagle

All materials on line and even a sign in the front of the store explains that walk-ins are welcome for the COVID-19 vaccine. When I asked to get my booster they said walk-ins are not accepted. The lady at the pharmacy was nice about it but shame on CVS for being as misleading as possible.

  • Jake L.

We used to shop at CVS a lot. Their prices have become so outrageous that the only thing we buy there now is $10 worth of products using the $10 Care Pass coupon. Even then, the value of that for $5 a month is dwindling. It's just not worth going there anymore.

  • Maryam Saless

Zahra has been helping my mom and she is absolutely wonderful, she is super helpful and caring. My Mom tells me she is helpful to all customers and truly cares. She provides superb service and we sure appreciate having her working at this CVS location.

  • Greg Wizz

Inside's trashy like normal CVS's so that's nothing new. But their pharmacy signs say 8:00 a.m. And they open at 9:00. The employee was baffled when I asked why don't they open at 8:00 like the sign says. Plus on top of this they're slow as hell

  • Chanda Coffey

The Campbell and Hillcrest location - excellent service provide by Rita. She is caring and always professional with a smile every week that I visit the store and she is there just make the experience more pleasurable. Keep up the good work.

  • Alex Stork

Had to wait in line for 10 minutes only to be denied purchase because they would not accept payment on Android/Samsung/Apple Pay via a card reader that supported all of that. The cashier just told me "we haven't set it up yet. My bad."

  • Ahseet Anderson

I've been shopping here on occasion for 9yrs. Sure, staff changes are common but overall people are very friendly! They do there best and work with the public no matter how rude people can be due to their personal issues. Thank You!

  • kenneth oltmanns

Went there Sunday morning. I was asking the girl working there questions about minute clinic and you would of thought I was talking to myself. I finally said I’m talking to you. She just didn’t want to hear me. Very rude.

  • Marjan Foghani

I’m so sorry for drive Thru employees, English is my second languages and I can’t understood One word and everybody loughing me, I had bad experiences and I never come back to this place …

  • Liz Cox

Brian in the pharmacy went above and beyond, fixing a mistake my doc ofc made and doing so in less than 3 business hours. He took the initiative. Refreshingly, no follow up by me was needed!

  • ShellandE

Consistently rude woman at the information window. The drive through tech is nice. The staff doesn't seem to like their job which is sad dealing with customers who are there to feel better.

  • Zach Lenz

This store is supposed to open at 8am. It is now 8:15am and the front doors are still locked. Tired of waiting. Walgreens will get my business from now on.

  • TayMeeks !
