Honestly not a big fan of CVS to begin with as I always seem to deal with rude folks. Today, while walking downtown, my 4 year old son had to go to the bathroom (1 and 2). Signs at so many locations said no public restrooms. I get this in a downtown area with an exploding homeless situation, but there should be some sort of effort to help a child. No sign at CVS so we went in to buy drinks and see if our CHILD could use the restroom. Gentleman inside the door said they had no restroom, but a walk further into the store and we could see they did. A dang pharmacy, that purports to help people, refused a child the restroom. I told him it was for our son. Garbage. I will not fill scripts or buy anything from a CVS until this is fixed. Ultimately - I don't see them caring.

Worst pharmacy anywhere!!! I get 6 prescriptions filled at the same time every month. I have epilepsy & 2 of those meds are for seizures & I cannot go without them. Today is Sunday, the prescriptions were sent in electronically last Wednesday. I was out of my meds last Wednesday. got told they only had 3 days worth of my seizure meds. Yet I wasn't given those. I was told wait & they'd have them Thursday. Thursday,Friday, Saturday & Sunday I received their automated call saying my script was ready....IT WAS NOT! I GET THERE SUNDAY & GET TOLD COME BACK TOMORROW! DUE TO BEING OFF MY MEDS I STARTED HAVING SEIZURES AGAIN LAST NIGHT SO I WILL BE SUEING CVS FOR THIS. NOT FOR MONETARY GAIN BUT TO GET THIS LOCATION SHUT DOWN!!!!!

Stopped in 20 minutes before pharmacy closed to fill prescriptions. The person (there were two people working in the pharmacy) at the pharmacy counter didn’t look at my prescriptions before informing me that they were closing and could not help me. I went to the next closest CVS (on field). The pharmacist asked if we wanted to wait or come back. We asked her how long it would take and she replied “since I’m alone, it’ll take 20 minutes”. Main Street CVS pharmacy had two people and 20 minutes but didn’t bother to try = poor customer service. Field Street CVS pharmacy had one person who stated she could do it in 20 minutes = great customer service what a difference!

Staff Member (female) who picked up my call said, before I had even finished my question, "No. We don't have that." I asked her to check. She put me on hold and came back to say, "Yes. We do carry those." I asked, "Do you have them in stock?" [It's cold and icy out and I don't want to trek to the CVS if they don't have what I'm looking for.] She said, "I don't THINK so." I asked her to check or to get me to a supervisor. When the Supervisor came on the line, she said, "Yes. We have them and we have them in stock." This process took 15 minutes! Someone needs to train the person with whom I originally spoke. This CVS's service is typically better than this!

It's 2023 I'm sure no one wants to have to call a pharmacy. In my eyes I should be able to do all I need to via web or app. However technology is only as helpful as those who are making it. So unfortunately today I had to call and the prompts weren't helpful or consistently audible which then meant I needed to speak to a representative in the pharmacy. This my internet people is how we got here. I've been on hold via phone for a minute (4.5 to be exact not a terrible wait time to be honest)with them and the first thing I hear when I'm taken off hold is a click. Call over. I can't wait to see them in person.

I want to give a special thanks and shout out to the pharmacist Ashley! I was in a stressful situation. I am epileptic and had three medications that were totalling approximately $400 out of pocket for a 30 day supply. That price was $200 plus less than Parkland had quoted me. Ashley not only transferred the scripts fot me but had them filled within a few hours, plus she applied coupons that saved me over $300!! My there prescriptions cost me $90, and one was for a 90 day supply. It's hard to find customer service that stellar anymore! Thank you again Ashley for going out of your way to make this happen!

Extremely racist. EACH and EVERYTIME I have gone to this store, AS SOON as I get to the self-checkout a sales associate will fly out of nowhere to stand DIRECTLY behind me. There is nothing about me that screams unfortunate, unprofessional, or poor. The only thing one can read about me is that Im not WHITE. I no longer go to this store due to what I can only assume is racially profiling. However, I will be going back to secretly record my experience to prove it's no coincidence AND I will be uploading my video to ALL social media platforms.

Only had self check outs open. I told the lady I needed cash back and she told me to use the self check out machine for it. I needed singles and when I got two 5's the lady told me they don't give change. The money was from their own machine. She was very rude when I tried to explain to her that I would have gone to a register with a person if I could to request cash back in singles, but she wasn't hearing any of it. She basically ignored me while I was talking to her. Will not return to this location.

10/28/2016 Bought 60$ worth of items , checked out on the self service machine. The CVS employee was watching that I scanned all my items . When I walked out the machine starts ringing. I gave him my receipt and he still made me take out my wallet and phone out my pocket. I felt somewhat humiliated for this and then he still jokes about "give me 20$ and I'll let you go". I felt all that was unnecessary when I showed him my receipt and he saw me when I scanned all my items.

Bought genetic Zyrtec.. Certirizine HCL tablets. 100 quantity. Needed them urgently for allergies at night. Used may be 15 of them. It's really weak and bad. Doesn't work as it is supposed to. Bottle says it's from Rising but manufactured by Unique pharmaceutical labs. Don't buy this. It's just a waste of money. CVS should have better quality check. What a shame. All i am is out of money.... $32+ and tax. Very disappointed.

They usually have 2 employees and three self checkouts. I never see the employees helping in the aisles but you can see them huddled around the self checkouts. They just stand there and wait for someone to have their ID checked for alcohol. But mostly they help the customers fumble through their self checkouts. It would go faster if they just operated a register instead of watching people try to scan their own crap.

Just got harassed by the manager, Jackie Thorns, for taking a picture in here. She angrily explained it was against company policy (which it's not). Just wanted to show my co-worker the drink selection in one of the coolers. I have been going here for years as I work right across the street, but never again. Recommending my co-workers and everyone else avoid this place as long as Jackie is the manager.

Have printed photos here on two different occasions, and both times, the photos were either not printed or I had to "release" them myself. One time the ribbon was out and no one in the store knew how to change it. Both issues added an extra 45-60 min on to my errands. Both orders were submitted online 2+ hours before I arrived. Should have been printed for me based on the "ready in an hour" option.

  • James Tech

This is the closest CVS to where I work. It needs to be better stocked and they need to be faster with prescriptions. I had to wait for over an hour only to be told to come back tomorrow. This is one of the slower CVS pharmacies I have been too. But, they do put a lot of stuff on sale more than other CVS stores. Not sure why that is, but it helps.

  • Erik Golden

While living downtown CVS was somewhat convenient for little grocery needs. They generally had what I needed, but at a premium price. Feels like gas station pricing at a regular store. The pharmacy staff was a bit short with me when I tried to fill an out of state prescription. I was unaware of the additional laws that Texas has on these scripts.

  • Jeff Tweed

I did not have much other choice than to shop here when I need something quick. Staff are always polite and cheerful. They make sure you don't need any help. Pharmacy staff even provided me with some recommendations on getting medications that I could not find anywhere in town. Cannot speak to the photo service, but I have been impressed so far.

(This review is for the pharmacy) I scheduled an appointment for the COVID shot and when I got there, the pharmacy had already been closed for an hour. Why allow a time slot that isn’t even available for the customer??? I drove from far too since it was the only location even SHOWING an available date near me. Ridiculous.

  • SJ Johnson

I have empathy of ppl homeless. Howver they really should clean up them standing around in the store, or wheelchairing backwards. It's not scary, but really. It'd a nuisance, and some seem to be totally out of it. Tge store for ne us convenient, and we'll stocked with decent Olives. The homless are turning me off

  • Aaron S

Very convenient location, and an easy walk for those visiting the AT&T discovery district in Downtown Dallas. Has numerous self checkout lanes to help avoid lines that many pharmacies have. Of course any prescriptions filled would have to be purchased directly from the pharmacist and not from a self checkout lane

  • J Staz

Got there at 6:02pm and they wouldn't help me, despite needing to pick up 3 prescriptions, one of which is an antibiotic I need. She just waltzed out the door, not a care in the world.. Go to a real CVS. You know, one that's still open after you get off of work. One that at least pretends to give a damn.

  • Sheri Lea Harrison

I love CVS...i spend way too much money in there but its got a lot of my must haves AND it's open 24hrs(at least this location is) so what's not to love. Well if you wanna be picky, although it's 24hrs, the pharmacy @ thislocation closes at some point. But I rarely go to get a script filled.

  • john ky

Went and got my vaccine here at the pharmacy. The pharmacist and tech were both extremely polite and processed me quickly. I hadn't visited this location in a long time but as of December 2021 they are renovating the entire store and now have a minute clinic as well as an updated interior!

  • Alaina Werkhoven

While I was checking out, one of the staff started to tell me about smart refrigerators that text you to tell you when your food is expiring, and also judge you for your unhealthy purchases. It was the most pleasant and wholesome conversation I've had with a stranger for months!

  • Racquel Waite

This CVS is pretty clean and that staff is helpful. When I went there to pick up my medication, the pharmacist actually took his time to give me more information about my medication and I really appreciated that as I’ve never experienced at any other pharmacy.

  • R4F4

Good downtown CVS with plenty of products, a Minute Clinic, food, a Citi ATM, and good service. However, the entrance is on the side of the building, but when you are on the back of it, there are no signs saying to walk around the building to access it.

  • C Jones

By far the worst CVS ever! Cash registers are never working. If i wanted to ring my items up and bag them myself I would have applied for a job! Also, sarcastic customer service from Abdullah (i believe that's what the tag read). …

  • Bethany Lewis

Just spoke with someone on the phone, she was very rude and not apologetic of anything. She could tell I was worried about my baby formula order. Apparently she thinks she’s higher than thou with the way she spoke to me. Do better CVS.

  • Jose Unicorns

The guy with glasses and curly hair. Is very rude and mean. We got into it bc he was wrong about a CVS coupons and every time I go in he stares at me the whole time..giving me the a nasty mean look. Hope he quits or gets faired

  • Lindsay Cumbie

The Dr. Called my rx around noon & it wasn't ready until 8 pm (already missed 2 doses) now they tell me they don't take my ins. Now they have to transfer it which takes about an hr. Won't ever fill any scripts here!!!

  • Aalok Gautam

It is at good location right in downtown. The store is very small and it feels like you can’t walk without bumping into each other. There are folks hanging outside this store which makes it unsafe to visit this store.

  • Jacqueline Clark

Out dated merchandise purchased candy 05/23 the date on candy 6/22. Went to shelf when I bought the candy back 10 bags had expired dates. Everyone is rude. You can’t ask them a question. This cvs should close down.

  • Judith Maisel

Purchase had been opened and contents used and remaining dried up. The lid was not properly replaced within the box. The box had clearly been opened. I ordered online and sack was sealed when I picked it up.

  • Sam Towns

Nice CVS downtown, an easy walk from our hotel. The selection was impressive for such a small store. We forgot our gallon of water and came back and they had held it for us which was nice customer service.

  • kassy leija

Sales associate was SO RUDE when I asked where the restrooms were. She literally acted like I wasn’t there and couldn’t even look at me directly when she rudely told me they had no public restrooms.

  • Keira P

Scarce parking for quick run in and out but lots of parking garages around. And oddly expensive for a cvs even if it is downtown. I almost believe the beverages cost the same at the actual hotel.

  • Nicolette Garlon

Always a long line with only 2 kiosk available one only accepts cash and the other you won’t get your receipt. Associate unwilling to step in and check out customers to keep the line down.

  • Philip Poon

Convenient location for DT residents. Only thing that sucks is they usually only have self checkout...there is hardly ever a real cashier unless the self checkout gets crazy backed up.

  • Kabir M Aswani

Visited CVS when I was in Dallas last and was blown away with their sheer variety. Paid a bit of a premium for what I purchased but was quite happy with the great customer service.

  • Jadyn Halencak

Waited here for an hour for my medicine and then they said it was taking too long and can’t process it have to wait till tomorrow keep in mind I need this medicine to stay alive.

  • Michael Garner

The store was clean and we'll organized, the pharmacy staff were already busy so I decided I'd try the pharmacy another day and made my purchase at try he front of the store.

  • Kathleen McNeese

Business need to open restrooms! Emergencies happen!!! Was turned away even with purchase!!! Thank God uber picked me up and took me to dallas farmers market just in time!

  • A Baxter

This place is a lifesaver if you live downtown and prefer to walk to pick up your basics. They have beer wine and simple pantry items along with the drugstore classics.

  • Stan Hart

Ashley & Violet are the best there is. Helpful, curtious and smart! They have helped me numerous times since moving downtown.

  • Nick S

The store itself is fine but the employees working there are often rude and dismissive. Other CVS locations are much better.

  • Finding The Force

It was cool. They had a huge selection and their sales associate was very nice and helpful.

  • Jesse Greer

Text notifications are unreliable and phones are unresponsive. Absolute farce.

  • Fede S

Normal CVS location. Easy and quick self checkout

  • Charles Herndon

No bathroom! What kind of CVS HAS NO BATHROOM!!!

  • Jakaylyn “Jay” Williams

Nothing, the customer service is spot on

  • Grevil Vasquez (PapiG)

Fast and good service always
