Usually when I deal with the pharmacist gentlemen with blue eyes it’s a good experience. This is pretty much my last straw with this woman that works in the pharmacy she’s always rude and has an attitude and gives people a difficult time gives little to no effort. She has red hair and is short fat and pale unsure of what her name is. I recently had surgery and went directly there when I received a message and checked on the cvs app to see and make sure my medication was ready . I had my mom drive there for me so I can get my medication the pharmacist said that it wasn’t there nor was it ready and she couldn’t transfer it to another location because the Doctor would have to which is a lie because all they have to do is call the doctors office and request that so they can send it in it’s already almost time to close and she said she didn’t have access to any other cvs or know there number at all and mentioned that they closed at 7:00pm Mind you my mother arrived as soon as we got the text so I wouldn’t be in pain we’ll I am ! Then the lady behind her made a comment as well saying “2 minutes”. You don’t leave until you are done helping people with their medication because it can be crucial to them . She doesn’t need to work there and needs to be fired because I’m not the only person experiencing this with her. People like her shouldn’t be in a field that’s suppose to help people.

Went in and was surprised at how much such a small store can pack. Was looking for hand lotion and vitamins, they have lotions for everything from arthritis to alien abductions, zombie repellent to vampire control. Of course they have a pharmacy, way in back, past the wine display and all the candy you could ever want. But somehow a pharmacy is not what some might expect without a soda fountain. However they have nearly every flavor of soda pop on hand in plastic or cans, and beer. Yes, a pharmacy must have beer, and nearly every trinket sold "As seen on TV"! Yes, if you could never live without that spritz-o-matic Deluxe!!!!, remember, AS SEEN ON TV!!! This is the place! They are open until 10pm weekdays, well after dark, in case you were silly enough to venture out after dark without your bad guy repellant. Took me well over 30 minutes to find my desired items and the staff was most helpful. This is in the Sunset Ridge shopping strip, well within walking distance of my abode. Enjoy!

Really bad experience. Got a text at 6:59 pm that my much needed medication was ready for pick up. Upon arrival, with an employee at the pharmacy still present, I am patiently waiting. I keep saying excuse me and ask “can someone please answer me”. Finally the employee replies and says pharmacy is closed and that the register automatically shuts down at 7:05. When I asked why I would get a text at 6:59 about meds being ready for pick if they close at 7. The employee Stated it’s a text from Rhode Island and Rhode Island doesn’t know the hours. Rude, no sympathy, no empathy, and no customer service skills. This medication is needed for a serious health condition and I explained that and got nothing but sorry, new hours, we close at 7.

Went today to pick up my husband’s prescription, was waiting in line for about 10 minutes with no customers ahead of me, was never acknowledged or a “ hello, I’ll be right with you” the phone was ringing and was never picked up the whole 15 minutes I was there. The man that finally attended to me “ Joseph “ was just rude and made me feel like I was bothering him. That is very sad, because some of these people need their medication to stay alive. You should maybe be more sympathetic because one day you will be in the same boat. You will not stay young forever my friend.

I have gone here on and off for years and finally decided it’s just not a personable experience with the Pharmacists. No one likes standing in line waiting for their prescriptions but you could at least hire friendly pharmacists in a very localized neighborhood. They usually don’t Even speak. You need to up your game. Central Market and Walmart have friendlier pharmacists by a long shot!!

C19 Vaccine unavailable. They demanded that an appointment for the shot be made on their website, but the CVS website vaccine scheduling didn't work. So basically this CVS location didn't want to be bothered doing shots. Luckily I was able to go to the local Walmart pharmacy and get one walking in. I should have gone there in the first place.

Was referred from other CVS location for COVID booster. Upon inquiring at Rx counter was treated as a nusance not worth Rx clerk's effort or time. Not necessarily rude, more flippant. Will NEVER spend another dime w/CVS...EVER! Solution: HEB RX, Oak Pk location...Sure we'll help you, pls fill out this paperwork & we'll be right w/you...

I was treated very rudely by a cashier name Stephanie, she was patronizing me and is very unprofessional, they're supposed to be the face of the company I hope CVS takes initiative to talk and retrain her to show her how to be professional when it comes to interacting with customers.

While at Sunset shops, usually pet related, I always visit the CVS as the staff is available if I have questions taking time to assist me. The cashiers are the best in SA guiding me through the store to help. It’s great for a Coke, holiday needs and sales.

The pharmacy absolutely will not answer the phone, they leave you on hold for 10 min then hang up no matter how many times you call. Can’t believe a reputable brand like CVS is allowing this as others have complained about it already.

  • Sara Bower

Pharmacy does not answer the phone. On hold 10 min, phone hung up, called back and waited an additional 15 min before giving up. Most places will at least pick up and ask you to hold so you know they will eventually pick up.

Horrible service and staff at the pharmacy. They send a text saying script is ready. Then it isn't ready. Showed staff the message and they had cancelled the script. Were not even a little apologetic. Were incredibly rude.

This is probably the best CVS stores I've been at. It's always organized and mostly stocked. The staff is always nice and very helpful. I've never had any issues. Red box always works. Is a great location too.

  • Robert

Prescription is ready!! Never mind, wait 40 minutes and itll be done. Is everyone that works here incompetent ? I have no idea how they are this disorganized. I would never recommend CVS pharmacy to anyone.

  • Brett Alvheim

Disappointed at best regarding the ability of the pharmacy’s ability to answer a telephone. Why even bother with the option - recoding should just say, “we don’t answer the phone, please come in person”.
