*UPDATE* 11/13/22 Visited the establishment again for an event on 11/11/22. I never heard back from the manager about being overcharged from the previous visit. To add insult to injury, come to find out I was being charged for soft drinks and they were being given out for free to others this whole time. So that's not very cool. After updating my review a few weeks ago, I was prepared to change my rating based on the owner's communication with me. There was none. So at this time, I can only give 1 star. I would give zero. I won't be recommending this establishment. Nor partaking at any special events where I feel like people are being ripped off. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was there for happy hour. I was charged $22.95 for 1 diet Pepsi and a well shot of tequila. The bartender apologized for the price. Which she shouldn't had, it is EXTREMELY overpriced and will not be partaking in the consumption of goods from this business in the future. Update, the owners never reached out to me even though they publicly stated in their reply to my review that they would. I was charged, they have collected their money and they have offered NO reason on why a well shot of tequila and a diet Pepsi were over $22.00. Buyer beware. I will not be spending any money this establishment. Taking 5 days to respond for a follow up is unacceptable. I hope this review helps people make better decisions about future purchases at your establishment.

I've been here for 1 other event before, but this is my new spot for Ravens games. Yesterday, it was good to be back with fans I've watched other games with at another spot downtown. Bar staff was friendly. There was a mimosa special. After getting a regular, I asked if I could substitute pineapple juice for orange; they didn't hesitate. There was only an issue when I closed out my tab. The mimosa special was posted as $6. However, my receipt showed them as $6.50. When I brought it to the bar staff's attention, she said she didn't know. Told her I wasn't trying to make an issue over 50 cents, but it was clearly posted just a few inches away from us. She gave me the difference between my total & the posted price in cash. I gave more right back to her in the tip. Some wouldn't have given a tip especially since there wasn't an apology & the attitude was pretty much oh well...but I'm planning to return for future games. Figured I'd do the right thing in hopes that this won't happen again.

My experience at crown station was least than pleasant this afternoon. I walked in and both employees did not acknowledge me even after i made eye contact with both gentleman. One was washing dishes looked up me and then proceed washing dishes and talking to customers at the bar. The only employee with long dark was fixing drinks so i wanted for him to walk to my side. He did not look up nor did he greet me as he fixed a drink so i finally asked who is working able to take my order he stated we are taking orders at the end of the bar. I’m not sure how that answers my question and it doesn’t negate that he stood in my face and didn’t acknowledge me until i spoke to him. He made the ice coffee but he forgot the flavor i asked for. He put Carmel syrup in a cup mixed with hot water and poured that into my coffee. This was My second or third time at crown station and i wasn’t satisfied with my drink or the service.

Me and my girlfriend were regulars of Natalies when she was at Bargarita, she is one of the best bartenders in NODA, we were thrilled to find out that after the new management let her go that she found another spot in NODA (we live down the street) and at a spot after talking to her recently, she loves and feels appreciated at more than any other bar shes worked in Charlotte. The owners of this business, you made a amazing choice to take her on and im certain she wont let you guys down!!!! (Were also just happy to listen to her awesome playlists and drink her specialty cocktails again)

I visit here very often and the workers are absolutely lovely and sweet! The coffee is amazing AMAZING! I just read somewhere you should start leaving nice reviews to places you enjoy and this place came to mind first. The atmosphere is lovely, the place is well decorated and they play great music. My actual favorite coffee shop in charlotte (i’ve visited literally ALL of them) not just cause the coffee is great but also the workers and enviroment. :)

This was a cool venue, convenient to both the Sugar Creek station and the 36th Street station. I went to see Homeboy Sandman and Quelle Chris perform last Friday. I got a tall can of Sierra Nevada IPA for $5 which was sweet. I feel like this venue could use more seating, but I also get why they'd want to keep the floor open. I would definitely like to see more performances here. It's an intimate space, and I bet it's SWEET in the summer.

Went for an event tonight and an additional $1 was tacked onto the entry fee. They could at least have mentioned this on the event flyer OR have it listed on their Facebook page or webpage that this is a private club. There is no membership cards or accounts so is that an extra $1 every time? Why not simply incorporate it into the entry fee so there are no surprises? Horrible nickel and diming. Will not be back. :(

Came here Wednesday with some friends to see my friend's artwork. The area was chill and laid back. The DJ was playing R&B and came around asking customers for any special requests. The cute bartender was attentive to each customer and what tastes/ flavors they preferred. The bartender made a delicious margarita for one friend, and I enjoyed a coffee beer. Pictured is my friend's artwork that is currently up.

I go here more for the live music on Tuesday nights than for the bar but will say the building as a venue for live music is a good time with many different places to sit with friends inside and out. Bartenders haven't always been the most attentive while my friends and I have gone but they haven't got anyone's drinks wrong so not too much to complain about except time. Great place to hang out with friends.

  • Krysti

I went to my firsts event here over the weekend and it was so much fun! There was a drunk guy at the bar starting to causes problems with a couple of us ladies, but when the bartender noticed and informed the bouncer, he was asked to leave. I was super impressed with how quickly and smoothly it was handled and that made me feel super safe there. I will be returning as often as possible!

  • Amanda Shipley

One of the bartenders said she put tequila in my Patron and Redbull, however, it was straight RedBull and we told her and she insisted that there was tequila in my drink. I knew better especially after a friend bought me a drink right after that and I could taste the tequila. NOT COOL CHICK!

Who'd think of it? We were going for a coffee after a long shopping experience to wrap up the day. Upon entering, we noticed the bar and the large variety of drinks available. They have combined a bar and a coffee shop. Nice twist and the "coffee" we had was well done. The bartender was engaged in everyone's needs along with conversation. Our shopping day ended well.

  • Jarvis Raymond

I got some attitude here for ordering a Nitro coffee without ice, a drink normally served without ice. Bartender was insistent that I only get a half of a glass since I asked for it without ice. I complained about the weak pour and he said I should have ordered some liquor. I've been here in the past with other bartenders though and gotten better service. Two stars!

  • Carmen Respass

My daughter had a superbowl party there, we were allowed to grill. Billy, the owner, helped us set up the outdoor grill. He also provided hamburgers. My daughter was allowed to bring in a DJ. There were televisions on the wall that we could view the game. Tasty looking drinks were sold at the bar. Very nice staff. Very nice venue and a very nice time.

I only been to Crown Station twice for a House Music event in the last month. It's a cozy place to chill if you just want to listen to some good house music, dance, have a few drinks and experience no drama (older crowd ). Highly recommend a place to visit during the next House Music event if that's the type of music your into.

  • Nicole Angtuaco

This place is awesome! It’s very unassuming and spacious and has a very laid back vibe. They have an excellent selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. The service is fantastic. The live jazz music on Monday nights is top notch! If you like a bar with more of a funky coffee house feel to it, this place is for you.

Crown Station has some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. Enjoyed the overall atmosphere presented by this coffee house & pub. Where even the patrons are as friendly as the wait staff/berista(s). Definitely earned a revisit to see how their live music aspect ties into the overall experience of going here.

  • Lucky Luckiano

Had the best mocha I've had in Charlotte here. There are SO many fine points to the art of espresso, and in most regions outside of the Northwest I've been unable to find places that know this and practice it. That said, I wish I could come here every morning for my fix - some mornings they're not open.

  • Bret Wendel

What a great time! Went in on a Saturday afternoon and had a Sexual Chocolate (drink, to be clear ). It was delicious. Ryan behind the bar always keeps things interesting. Ended up inviting some friends and spent ding most of the afternoon there. Definitely be coming back time and time again. …

  • haili everhart

I live right across the street from this place so the location is convenient. How can you not love a place that serves coffee AND alcohol and can also mix the two to make incredibly delicious drinks. Crown Station offers a great selection of beverages and has a very fun vibe to it!

  • Adam Brooks

It's a convenient place in the Elizabeth area near CPCC and Presbyterian Hospital to relax with a cup of coffee or a drink. Working nearby, I'll occasionally pop in for a caffeine boost or use it as an out of office place to meet. There's free WIFI and the staff is friendly.

  • Lauren Sabo

The new Crown Station is amazing with tons of space! It's a great place to hangout or dance to some music. You can grab coffee or coffee with a kick. One issue might be parking spaces, but once the train opens that will be less of a concern. Supper glad to see them reopen!

  • Kimberly K

Found this place on Google and im glad I did!! Ryan was soooo welcoming from the phone, to the service, and even telling me goodbye! He was great, the atmosphere was great, and I ended up having a good and funny conversation with strangers. Give this place a try!

  • Just another viewer

Great place to get work done during the day and even better during events. Friendly and funny staff and great food options near by and/or with their pop-up food vendors. They always have something to do there with loads of different events hosted there too!

  • S “J” S

Not recommend for coffee. I ordered a vanilla late it wasn’t hot and no taste of vanilla. Bathrooms are dirty and soap dispenser did not work. This type of signs shows lack of care for this business. Wish you the best but need to show some level of care.

  • Duane Cress

Very nice ecliptic patronage. Young and old are welcomed. Fun place to meet locals, unique neighborhood bar and coffee house. Great place to just hang out and relax. Bartender Ryan is a true mixologist and fun to talk to, he keeps the crowd entertained!

  • Rudy Aguila

Awesome location, great ambiance! Decent selection of beers and of course great coffee! I was there while they were testing cookie recipes and was able to sample some cookies and they were amazing as well so hopefully those will be made available soon!

  • Bayyinah

Always a good time when I come here. Whether it's house music or afropop playing there's always a good vibe on & off the dance floor. I've only been there for evening events. Free parking & patio are a bonus. Drinks are what you'd expect. I'll be back.

  • Nicole G

Great coffee shop during the day and bar during the night. They're a little slow during the day because (they only had one barista/bartender) but it was worth the wait. I love their coffee and the vibe of the place. It's a neighborhood gem.

  • Rob Piscitelli

The barista/bartender is absolutely awful. Extremely rude when I’ve been here. Maybe that’s why their dead most of the time. If you’re looking for some good coffee and nice service I recommend roots or Julia’s books and cafe!

  • Ben Lau

They cultivated a nice little space in Charlotte for true hip hop artists and fans to get together and demonstrate their craft in a safe environment. The gin and tonic was pretty good too.

  • Andre Gentry

Cool little spot. Charlotte is growing in style and vibe. Right now it's a blank canvas with very little color. The restaurant next door was super cool, deejay noodle house I'll add pics
