"The customer service is not what you expect from a fine bakery like this, the fat lady (sorry I don’t know her name ) but I touch the bag of my bread and she said in a rude tone “could you not touch the bread”, it is my bread !! So what is the problem"
"Where to begin"
"Their scones are amazing, I have never had a scone that’s so soft, tasty, and not dry at all"
This place is awesome!!! Great bakery the breads are always fresh and the staff is so friendly. I really love coming here. I always end up buying so many different things just to try and everything is so good I cannot even come up with the best recommendation. Hours are very convenient for a bakery as well! Hope this Helps!!!
I was surprised the woman behind the counter was not wearing a mask and serving people- which is against bylaws and proper hygiene during COVID. It made me wonder if there is such a disregard in the front of the house- what bad hygiene and safety was happening where customers can’t see. I won’t be eating the bread I bought.
The customer service is not what you expect from a fine bakery like this, the fat lady (sorry I don’t know her name ) but I touch the bag of my bread and she said in a rude tone “could you not touch the bread”, it is my bread !! So what is the problem. At the entrance she was also rude, not even a welcoming or anything.
Where to begin...the cheese bread is heavenly . Just had the ham and cheese croisants and unfortunately, they didn't make it to breakfast. Walking into the shop the smells remind me of the bakery in Dunnville when I was young and we would go for a treat. If you love bread, don't shop anywhere else.
Their scones are amazing, I have never had a scone that’s so soft, tasty, and not dry at all. Meantime the flavour sets in so well, I fell in love immediately! Also highly recommend their cinnamon bun, heat in the microwave for 30 seconds and you will love it.
Went in for my first time yesterday and got two sourdough loaves. Couldn’t wait to eat one in the car and it was kind of gross! It tasted like any bread you would buy in a grocery store and not a bakery. I bought the flaxseed sourdough. The
Wow what a pleasant place to walk into. Right away Tracy offered me a taste of their new Christmas freshly baked scone. YUM-MY! Everything is baked fresh every morning and if there is anything that remains, they give it all to charity and I
I have been disappointed twice with the scones. First time l went there l got a blueberry & lemon. The flavours were not there, no flavour of lemon at all. Yesterday l got a strawberry & passion fruit, no passion fruit flavour. Plus l got a
This bakery is great! It's nice having a place to get fresh bread! But....... today I came in to buy some bread and I saw an worker accidentally drop a loaf on the floor and very quickly picked it up and put it back right back on the shelf.
I don’t know how this place could get any bad reviews. The owner Claire is so friendly and the baked goods are so fresh. My family and I tried the hot cross buns, spinach and feta croissant, sourdough Vienna bread, ham and cheese croissant
Alright listen... if my in-laws were in town, which they aren’t so that’s cool, but if they were, and I needed a legit loaf of bread like ASAP, this is where I’d be racing towards. I’d buy something fancy with nuts or seeds or heck.. fresh
Went for my first time today around 730 am. I was disappointed that there wasn't a huge selection of breads available at that time. I ended up buying a whole wheat loaf which was very fresh and delicious, I would have preferred a loaf with
Picked up a Mother’s Day order on behalf of someone else, when I arrived I showed them the corresponding order number and name for the order, and they still gave me the wrong one. Had to drive all the way back to switch it for the correct
Large selection of various fresh (sliced or whole) breads and sweet pastry. Although I visited 2 or 3 different locations, I've never seen their shelfs filled with bread but they generally have a good selection available most of the times
Stopped in to check out the new location. It was clean and well-lit. Items were well marked in font size large enough for me to read without my glasses, and calorie counts listed for individual items. They had several different types of
Popped in today and was disappointed in my experience. I carried my chi under my arm and waited a couple minutes for someone to appear. A baker came out from the back and said I couldn’t have my dog but reached her arms out and said she
COBS has not been in town very long, but in the short time they have been here, they have made a positive and lasting impression on us and many of our friends. The service is always top notch, the salespeople are extremely friendly and
I loved Cobs Bread, and so it pains me to rate them a 2 star. I went into a Cobs and asked if they had any plant based/Vegan options, and I was quickly told "no, there is nothing like that here". Really? No bread without dairy or eggs?
I've gone here since it first opened. Great selection of homemade bread. I also like how they donate old bread not sold rather than dispose of it like many other stores do. I thoroughly enjoy getting bread from here and supporting the
I didn't even know this place was here and I've driven by it many times! Finally noticed it and went in a couple of weeks ago. The scones (blueberry/lemon, and double chocolate) were out of this world. We've been buying the "gourmet"
Not usually a fan of scones, they’re typically just kinda….. meh. However, I’ve tried a variety of scones from cobs, and they are moist, delicious, and flavourful. Great bread too, but I honestly mainly go for sweets and snacks.
I love fresh bread and this place is dangerous. Their sourdoughs are really yummy. I also really like the chia bread. The scones are fantastic. I had a ham and cheese croissant last visit and it was delicious.
Great place, fresh baked daily and any left overs donated to community charities. Staff friendly and generally very knowledgeable. Such a pleasure to not have to eat over processed bread products any more.
lovely staff !!! very friendly and courteous !!! good products.. raisin and apricot bread, chives and garlic bread, spinach and feta croissant and ham and cheese croissant are amazing !!!
I no longer buy bagged bread at the grocery store. Live the strawberry passion fruit scones. Best hot cross buns ever. Best burger and sausage buns. Staff are friendly, good service.
Highly recommend . Always fresh & tasty. My personal faves: the raspberry white choc scone, sour dough bread, garlic tear away bread delicious. And smells amazing. …
Love their cinnamon bread/buns! We are also hooked on the chocolate croissants! They have very good bread and an excellent variety! It's worth the wait and the little extra.
I love bread. I grew up around bread. In many shapes, forms and sizes. And Cobs makes really good bread. Today was the last time I'm going in the Cobs of Waterdown. Why?
What a great addition to the community. All bread is baked fresh daily, and from what I hear anything that's not sold by the end of the day is donated to charity.
Without a doubt, the best bakery in the area for loaves and other baked goods. Seriously, its hard not to just devour a fresh baked loaf the moment I get it home.
This my most favorite bakery. Everything is delisious. It is hart to choose what do buy when you see and smell so may different goodys …
The only place I can find hot cross buns during Easter time. This is a great local bakery, will definitely be back for fresh bread.
Clare the owner is the best, most professional lady there is! Highly recommend this location, the service and food is top quality.
Excellent scones here. The single size pizza are excellent also. Highly recommend to visit the store. You won't be disappointed.
Every time I walk in here it smells amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. The products are always so fresh and delicious.
The place has a good selection of freshly baked bread items. Tried a pastry, ham and spinach croissants and they were yummy!!
If you’re non-white, you have no business going there. They will not give you the time of day. The male staff with moustache.
Great selection of fresh bread, it's all I want now. Crumpets, baguette, pull aparts and more! Try the Hot cross buns!
Awesome and friendly staff!...smells amazing when you first walk in!!!...great selection of breads and treats!
My favorite part of shopping, every time. Awesome selection, and beyond awesome taste.

Great selection like nowhere else, on top of it you can place your order and pick time for your pickup.
