Wir waren mit der Familie für 2 Nächte dort und haben drei Cubes gemietet. Es waren alles 4-Bett Würfel. Die Cubes sind klein, aber zum Schlafen ausreichend. Mehr als schlafen geht dort auf Grund des Platzes auch nicht. Die „Zimmer“, die Duschen und die WC’s waren sauber und erfüllten ihren Zweck. Die Cubes haben allerdings einen Nachteil: die Schallisolierung. Man hört alles, jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarcube, jeden Schritt auf den Wegen, jeden Regentropfen. Bei feiernden Jugendlichen auf dem Platz zur Nachtzeit eine echte Qual. Ruhe kehrte erst nach einer persönlichen Ermahnung ein. Und wir waren im März dort. Will mir gar nicht vorstellen wie es dort im Sommer ist. Abschließend finde ich es eine gelungene Möglichkeit günstig und zentral in Berlin zu übernachten, aber man sollte definitiv U-30 sein. Für Ü-30 und für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist es nichts, da die Würfel viel zu klein und viel zu hellhörig sind. Dann lieber etwas mehr Geld für ein ordentliches Zimmer in Berlin ausgeben. Feiern gut, ruhigen Schlaf schlecht. Parken an der öffentlichen Straße ist gut möglich, kostet aber Geld. Aber das weiß man bevor man nach Berlin fährt. Fazit: Zentral gelegen, günstiger Preis, nachhaltig (viele Gäste auf kleinem Raum) und sauber. Camping in der Großstadt mit einem festen Dach über dem Kopf beschreibt es wohl umfassend. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge in Berlin sehr gut geeignet. S und U-Bahn sind zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen. Zentral gelegen mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten (aber kostenpflichtig) zum „Campingpreis“.

Der Cube besteht aus einem Bett. Im Zimmer hat man Steckdosen und eine Fußboden Heizung die den Raum schön warm hält. Gutes WLAN gab es auch. Der Standort ist ziemlich Zentral und in ein paar Minuten ist man an der nächsten U Bahn Station. Weil das Gelände öffentlich ist sollte man allerdings nichts vor seinem Cube stehen lassen, weil es sonst geklaut wird. Nachts hat man sich recht sicher gefühlt. Da die Türen sich nur mit einer Karte öffnen lassen. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren am 1 Tag als wir ankamen sehr sauber, die folgenden Tage leider nicht mehr so... Zusammengefasst: Es war gut und besonders gut geeignet für Leute die übern Tag viel unterwegs sind und eine günstige Unterkunft suchen zum übernachten.

The rooms are tiny, but that was expected. The showers were okay, more effort could be put in to making them a bit cleaner. Check in is strict and closes at 8pm so make sure you arrange something with the staff if you’re arriving late. The toilet block was centre in the middle of the cubes for easy access. The location of the cubes themselves is quite cool with the sports courts near by, which is a great atmosphere. The little bar/restaurant area is lovely and the snacks from the fridge are excellent and offer a good selection of healthy food :) The entrance was easy enough to find to the property. I arrived in the daylight and it was fine, but going back to the room after having dinner it was dark and as a solo female traveler I felt uneasy walking back through the poorly lit alley to the entrance. I think some more lighting would help immensely to make guests feel a bit more comfortable. All in all a good stay, it’s budget accommodation in the middle of the city and definitely a “you get what you pay for” experience.

Club Lodges Beachmitte ist eine tolle, preiswerte Unterkunft. Urlaubsfeeling garantiert! Die Cubes sind zwar klein, aber trotzdem hat man genügend Platz für alles, ob unter den Betten oder auf einem Regal. Allerdings sind sie relativ hellhörig, das ein oder andere Mal kann das auch den Schlaf verkürzen. Die Waschräume sind immer sauber, nur die Duschen können etwas "nervig" sein, da sie nach 30 sek ca wieder neu angemacht werden müssen. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. An der Bar kann man kleine Snacks sowie Getränke bekommen die Cocktailliste ist nicht groß, aber ausreichend. Und sehr stark haha. Alles in einem TOP, aber eher für junge Menschen zu empfehlen und wenn man es minimalistisch mag. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

It's ideal for a few days of city trip. The cube is small but comfortable, and you don't have to share it with unknown people. It's the joys of camping paired with the comfort of an affordable hotel room. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and centralized between all the cubes. The location is great for going into the city but horrifying at night. The entrance is in an alley with no lights. The second it gets dark, it's not comfortable to walk into anymore, especially as a woman alone. During the summer I imagine it's not that big a problem as long as you don't go out until midnight but in the autumn it's dark early this far east. I hope for future visitors that the lighting situation in that alley gets fixed because it is very creepy.

This place is an absolute shame. We arrived and there was nobody at the reception. Once we called for someone, the receptionist came and told us we couldn’t put our luggage anywhere and that the “room” (aka the cube) was not ready. In addition the lady was very rude to us and was mocking us. We then went to our accomodation only to find out it had nothing to do with the pictures. It was literally 2 m2 and the beds were disgusting (full of hairs and even some blood), they weren’t even made. We then went to the communal bathrooms of the hostel and the sink was cloaked, the bathroom stank plus was full of sand and the showers didn’t even work properly, honestly a complete disaster. The prices didn’t match the place. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great fun location, with comfortable beds, clean toilets and showers and comfortable seating outside the bar elsewhere on the compound that was not too close and not noisy (not open late at night :-) ) In a nice part of Berlin with fast connections to key tourist points and good nearby restaurants.

Für den Sommer ein tolles Ambiente, waren aber leider im Herbst da. Cubes sind leider viel zu klein, in der Strandhütte wird einem sofort trinken angedreht, man muss also entweder frieren oder schlafen. Außerdem kann man nichts draußen stehen oder trocken lassen da es sonst geklaut wird (in meinem Fall waren es Schuhe). Die Sanitären Einrichtungen sind klein und nass, man hat keine Privatsphäre. Das Personal ist zum Teil freundlich, zun Teil aber auch sehr unfreundlich. Man wird wenn man sich doch irgendwo hinsetzt rausgeschmissen auch wenn man leise ist und niemanden stört. Insgesamt eine Studienfahrt, die leider er durch die Unterkunft ein wenig versaut wurde. Würde ab September nicht mehr empfehlen dort hinzugehen.

Für wenige Tage in Ordnung. Die Lodges sind sehr, sehr klein und für 3 Personen schon fast zu eng. An dem Parken sollte was geändert werden das ist wirklich übertrieben teuer. Personal grüßt nicht ignoriert, Freundlichkeit ist anderst. Das WLAN ist katastrophal, am ersten Tag ging es noch und die nächsten 3 nicht mehr. Schon morgens kommt vom Beach Gebrüll von den Sportlern, wird sehr nervig irgendwann. Toiletten und Duschen sind in Ordnung allerdings sollten öfter Tücher und Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt werden. Unsere Lampe im Zimmer war kaputt und unsere Türe hat gehackt, hat sich nicht richtig schließen lassen. Alleine oder mit Freunden ok, mit Kindern würde ich hier nicht mehr her kommen.

Great concept! You wouldn't expect a good beach vibe in the middle of Berlin, but it's actually real. The cubes were very clean, as were the shared showers and toilets, although the ground outside was sandy. The rooms are very small but you are aware of that when you book. It does, however, require some flexibility. Next door was a beach bar and a volleyball field. However, it was very noisy and you are exposed to a lot of noise. Next to the lodges is an event room and the entire facility was dismantled and cleared up loudly until 04:00 in the morning. It wasn't cold in the lodges either, although it was around 15 degrees outside because there is heating. It is a bit stuffy after a few hours, an additional small window on the back would be desirable.

Wir waren im Oktober da. Die Zimmer sind leider viel zu klein und der Boden war sehr sandig. Weiterhin waren diverse Müllreste der vorherigen Bewohner im Zimmer und es roch nicht gut. Die Wände sind sehr sehr dünn und man hört den Straßenlärm und wenn Leute vorbeilaufen oder sprechen. Die Matratze und das Kopfkissen waren eher hart. Die Gemeinschaftsduschen waren ebenfalls sandig und an einem Duschvorhang hing rote Substanz, augenscheinlich Blut. Die Lage ist wie beschrieben gut und eine S-Bahn-Station ist in der Nähe. Zusammengefasst werde ich das nächste Mal das Doppelte zahlen und dafür wieder mein eigenes, ruhiges Zimmer haben.

This hotel is great! the rooms were quite small but it's what was expected. fan included in the room was useful. the bathrooms were not too busy and kept clean, as was the entire site. the site itself was very nicely decorated. The location is quite good. it's located on the site of the former Berlin wall which is very interesting. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and also has great transport links with trams and metro. Walk to the city centre is only about 20 minutes

Ein gutes Zimmer, in der richtige Zeit. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Berlin in Ordnung. Die Lage ist optimal und sehr Zentral und im Sommer ist es bestimmt super. Im Winter jedoch hat es schwächen die jeder abwägen muss. Die Sanitären anlangen sind draußen und bei leichten Plus graden, nicht gerade angenehm da hin zu gehen. Im Zimmer hört man fast alles von draußen und der Boden ist immer Kalt. Die Heizung ist gut und der raum bleibt warm. Wenn man wie ich den ganzen Tag in Berlin verbringt und vieles draußen erleben will, ist so ein Zimmer in Ordnung. Wer sich generell häufiger oder länger im Zimmer aufhält sollte im Winter nicht mit zu großen Erwartungen dort Buchen.

1 star just for the area and the idea of creating a beach environment like in middle of the city. Super expensive for what you get the room is too small that if you 2 people with 2 bag pack it's so difficult to just move around and function. They don't provide towels (€2 for towel) and sleepers and for bathroom you have to go outside which is sandy and dirty. And the shower are those which you have to press the tap every 2 Second، no shampoo. And they made the beds hight different so that you can't pot them together. Literally no service with high price. And the sheets were dirty too.

absolut hellhörige Cubes, in der ersten Nacht hat es so sehr geregnet, dass man durch die Lautstärke des regens aufgewacht und nicht weiter schlafen konnte. In der zweiten Nacht war ein lästiges Piepsgeräusch (als hätte jemand eine Kühltruhe offen gelassen) über die gesamte Nacht zu hören, was ebenfalls zu kaum erholsamen Schlaf führen konnte. Die Hygiene ist mäßig und der Service ist grottig. Man kann seine Koffer nicht abstellen und so muss man auf Schließfächer an den Bahnhöfen ausweichen...(Tipp: in der Nähe bei der Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer gibts Schließfächer für kleines Gepäck)

Die Idee ist sehr gut und wurde auch sehr gut umgesetzt. Man konnte gut schlafen, und es gab auch eine Fußbodenheizung. Die Location war auch super es würde aber im Sommer mehr Spaß machen. Die Zimmer waren etwas klein aber wenn man nur drin schläft ist das nicht weiter schlimm. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und in den cubes ist es auch sicher. Die Toiletten waren nicht gerade luxerious aber sie waren sauber und ausreichend. Die nächste Bahn Station ist ca. 8 min. Entfernt. Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut.

Pros : Cheap, location was ok. Easy check in/out. Fast response. Cons : Bathroom was in separate building, and it was an outdoor area so its not too comfortable if you want to go outside in such a cold night or when it was rain The bathroom is not so clean during night (so keep the closet clean after you did your business!). The cube is okay but not too soundproof it depends on your neighbour, during my stay my neighbour is really annoying and cannot be quiet. We cant sleep sound until late midnight.

NO AIR CONDITIONING - TOO HOT IN SUMMER It was 27^C outside and I’m the room 38^C! Then the temp outside was 18^C and it took us 2h to get the room down to 23^C with the window open. We suggest to put a reflective sheet on the windows for the summer if you don’t want to put air conditioning. Other than that, We strayed for one night and it was good, the check in and check out where super easy. Beds are comfortable, but a little closer together than it seems in the pics.

Positiv, man hat ein Dach übern Kopf. Ich war auf der Sommerparty meiner Firma im Sep.22. Der Cube war ein totaler Schock. Das Teil ist bei Regen so laut (Blechdach) als ob 20 Mann Schlagzeug üben. Der Raum ist extrem klein, kein Stuhl nur ein Bett. Wenn man aufs WC möchte, muss man sich komplett bekleiden und durch den Regen laufen. Arbeiten auf dem NB war unmöglich. Das WC ist in der Früh sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig (Geruch). Niemals wieder !

Wonderful place to stay. In summer, with the ambient of beach, you can stay in the sand and drink something in the chill-out zone. In autumn, you can stay in the living room where they have got a lot of little lights that gives a lot of charming to the place. The cubes maybe are so little but warm in autumn, and cold in summer. One thing to improve is that if you want a towel you have to pay. In a very good location.

Very clean place and nice staff but for me it form over content. Only four showers for 24 cubes is far too small, same applies to toilets. Cubes are tiny and have only one little window so if you don't want to suffocate you will need to left wide open door for whole night. WiFi (very slow one) is only available in a bar which is ~20m from Cubes. Big plus for good district, 15-20min from city center on foot.

Super,wenn man die Stadt kennen lernen möchte...und wenn das Wetter super ist. Freundliches Personal.Die Cubes recht klein aber schön, leider recht hellhörig. Duschen müssten renoviert werden,da das Wasser nicht richtig abläuft. Denke super für junge Leute...sehr schöne Beach Bar.

We stayed there for one night on May 2022. I highly recommend this place for 2days citybreak in Berlin. Superb localisation, just a stone throw from the city centre, economic price and clean toilets. You may have a problem with the shower (cold), I do not know how about the heating in the winter.

Very clean and warm but no option for a double bed. Nice location near metro station and many options for food and coffee within 5-10 mins walking. Maybe a better choice for summer vacations.

Great wee lodges...all you need to visit a great city like this....a bed. Separate showers etc all good also. Pretty cool to watch the beach volleyball. Close to amenities....defo worth a stay somewhere different
