Extremely poor service from this insurance. They don’t know how to treat clients. I have been to bupa insurace modhbury branch from 2-3 months they keep changing wording. And never provide accurate information. I have been again today one of their staff just ask the what is issue to come here again. I have explained in kind and polite she did not allow me to sit down and let her know why I came to store. I spent 20-25 minutes only standing talk. The staff did not allow to sit and solve the queries. I have bee. 1 hour ago before closing time. So bad and rude behaviour. I am requesting bupa to solve query regarding claim. Contacted via phone, messages and store visit. Every time different answer. Staff said they can’t help you with hospital query if they can’t provide bupa let the client know in at first stage where should client can contact for each service. At the end I need to pay whole amount. Think is not about money whether insurance cover or not but the way they wasted my 2-3 months without replying me on emails is so inappropriate and unprofessional. Bupa is a reputed insurance company they should understand client emotions and situations rather trying to solve the staff did discussion with me on main entry. Every people on the shopping was looking at me. No privacy of client and no dignity maintained. Too much attitude in staff. Really I felt bad after coming from that store today. I felt so embarrassed after paying every month to bupa got zero response at the end. I don’t want to put the staff name here in this feedback because I respect the people privacy and emotion which the BUPA team don’t know. Waste of money totally with this insurance Wasted 7 months with bupa. At the end I have paid whole amount hospital Doctor has given all evidences declaring what ever bupa asked Still not bupa paid claim back to us. Very very poor service
I had a really great experience with staff at this BUPA store over the past three weeks. I visited in store to discuss my specific circumstances that had implicated my cover, and the service provided by Tanner was really thorough. I also spoke to another female staff member in store who was lovely and caring, but unfortunately cannot remember her name. She was very informed and was able to provide information on the best option moving forward. After my initial meeting, I wasn't required to go back in store, and Tanner kept me up-to-date via email, and was prompt with all responses. He was patient when discussing my cover options, and was able to cater to my financial situation. Many thanks to the team - your prompt and personalised service did not go unnoticed!
The lady named "N_ _i" in Modbury office in tea tree plaza putted me in danger and trouble by suspending my wife's and children's policy before 17 days of the actual date it should be. As a result a payment to medical service provider got stuck. Moreover, she didn't upload the forms as well those I filled up for suspension. For all of these I need to visit bupa office again in Hobart and need to talk medical service provider several times. These are very very unacceptable and disappointing matter as I paid the whole period of stay for them. She should have been more careful before suspending.

( after this comment Bupa contacted me and wanted me to go on their Facebook page and ask my question, But... I am not on Facebook so should Bupa have an email address? I can't keep ringing and having no no one answering)
I’ve been into Bupa a few times over the last year. I was signed up by a very nice man named Tanner who explained everything in wonderful detail and with much kindness. I went in again recently when I was having trouble and once again he was very understanding and was able to fix my problem with much ease. I always ask for Tanner when visiting now, he always makes me feel welcomed.
Adrian Hugo at Bupa TTP outlet is amazing he makes your experience enjoyable. After he attends to you, you feel happy leaving the Bupa outlet that you are valued. Besides his amazing client handling skills he is extremely knowledgeable. Honestly everyone there at TTP Bupa outlet look after you in an amazing way and with brilliance in their knowledge. Simply amazing experience.
Telephone Customer Service is pathetic and a waste of time. I have a simple question that I need a human to answer, The three times I call today the wait time was quoted as 2 1/2 hours by the automated system. Given how much we are paying for insurance this is 100% unacceptable. My query with Last no longer than five minutes total.
Telephone service hopeless , it takes ages to get anything done. Hundreds of questions for car insurance. In store a bit of waiting , but claims are taking too long. We have not been able to do claims online as we are carers and Bupa will not allow us to do our work without they,re client",who cannot understand them.
Fortunately, I met Sue today. She came to work near Costco. I asked her a lot of questions, and she was very enthusiastic and professional in answering my questions. She handled the information for me to join Bupa and introduced the most suitable insurance plan for me in detail, thank you very much!
Absolutely worst service offer. Do not be fooled by their advertisement. Bunch of liars. They promise something and when it comes to claim they intend to rip you off. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
The good folks at Bupa tea Tree Plaza are fantastic. Friendly, punctual, super helpful. Suzanne and the rest really looked after me and I'd be happy to recommend them to anybody
