Bullen Plaza is a relatively small shopping centre these days but it has everything you need for a normal shop. Other than containing all the necessary facilities & shops, The Friendly individual Shop Owners and their staff are seemingly always happy to go that little further & do a little bit Xtra to help their customers and make your visit alwsys a pleasant experience. The variety speaks for itself which includes a decent sized Supermarket, bakery, newsagency, pharmacy, $2 type store that's packed to the hilt, clothing boutiques, a specialist middle Eastern 'mart' that not only has a plethera of exotic items packed onto their shelves but make amazing coffee & serve authentic and super fresh delacies. A fabulous, well qualified & thorough chiropractor practices from here as well, who will fit you in day or night (24hrs in emergencies) and much, much more. Most of the boutique shops have a bigger range than you would expect. There is always a park to find, I forgot to mention a great little family run coffee shop with a customer rewards program (entry from the outside of the centre), a Fernwood gym for the Ladies, a barber for the men, clean public toilets & even the local library is a part of this centre. It doesn't sound so small any more does it?! Located on the main road (Manningham Road) and easily accessible with entry from both side streets, the rear and the main road. There are traffic lights that aid with easy entry off the main road for those who don't want to be rushed to turn into the centre by sometimes busy traffic and local buses service the Plaza as well. Wheelchair /ramp access to the shops is fully catered for. The centre is conveniently flanked by a petrol station - what else could you ask for? Oh and don't forget there's a Krispy Kream there too! Support the local community by visiting their clean & friendly shopping centre and enjoy that little bit extra you can't always find in those big centres that you just become another face in. An added bonus is you never have to wait in a long queue to be served. I'm sure it won't happen here; it never has for me. Happy Shopping

We arrived at 8am, for a double appt as a walk in. We queued with other patients. Although there were available reception staff that could’ve helped us, they were gossiping amongst themselves and showed no initiative to assist until 5 mins later another older receptionist guided us over to them. We were told that there were no longer bulk billed appts. So we paid for two appts. After 45 mins of waiting and on querying, I was told the GP had arrived and we were the first ones on her list. I would’ve preferred to be told prior to waiting that the GP wasn’t even on the premises. I think it would’ve been better to charge us after and not before the appts. It appears that there is a lack of respect for patients and it will certainly be the last time we come. There are better clinics elsewhere, that whilst you pay, won’t treat you as a second class citizen. I am late as is my daughter for school. Female GP then advised that she’d be late so saw Dr Sam Assad who was very good and comprehensive in his care. Would see him again if needed. But there is room for improvement. Dr Assad deserves a 5/5 star review

In amongst the wild natural habitat of drivers who should have had their licenses revoked 40 years ago are old card-playing men who want to relive their mafioso days, blocking up cafes. As you weave past them, the more dangerous prospect of being rammed by a wild 1985 Camry is a very real one, whether inside a store or outside of it. If you can dodge the flying metal pieces of stray car parts, you might not make it out of the Coles as the Karens in the self serve carefully monitor to make sure you're not stealing that half price coke Zero. The best radius to keep from this store is 5+ km, as the surrounding stores are in as much peril from decrepit drivers as those in the lawless parking lot itself. Good luck to those travellers who dare to traverse it.

A good shopping centre that is let down by a poorly laid out car park. Update....the carpark is still rubbish. I would boost the rating to 4 stars if they improved the carpark but 5 stars is out of reach for a small old supermarket. Jan 23 Update Bulleen Plaza is convenient. I like the sushi shop and Piazza Barber shop. 5 stars for them, one star for the car park and still 3 stars overall. While I am being critical of the carpark perhaps I should mention the lack of facilities for cyclists. No bike rack and signs telling people not to park motorcycles on the footpath. Wake Up centre management. Bikes take up less space than cars and are much more environmentally friendly. Why not encourage people to come to the shops on a bicycle or a motorcycle?

*The toilet which is supposed to be "OPEN SUNDAY AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS" never is open to the public, in my experience. The main toilets also are not accessible at night even though Coles is open for business, and in the men's toilet only one of the 4 cubicles has a coat hook. *The Coles never has certain bakery items which I can always find at any other Coles. *The carpark is very bumpy, especially on the eastern side. Now the Westpac branch has closed, so even less reason to stop here. *And Matthew Guy has his office here...fortunately I've never come across him because I'd be too inclined to punch him in his smug conservative face.

Not a bad little Plaza, there is some great little shops, always good to see a fruit and veggie store close to a supermarket as I prefer to by my fresh food from small businesses like that, only downside was the car park, it's a bit hectic with vans parking half way across the road to unload stock for shops, people just walking across the road wherever and whenever they wanted to, even though there were plenty of pedestrian crossing, I literally had to wait for at least five different people walk in front of my car when I was trying to leave, I think the little Plaza and it's shops make up for those little inconveniences.

Have had an extremely poor experience with Bulleen, Electronics. Unprofessional, backyard operation. Shop is rarely open, sign on door directing you to the whereabouts of the manager. "The customer is always wrong" according to Ming the manager. Please DO NOT get involved with this business, you will regret it. As a customer of Bulleen Plaza for 35 years, I and a few others would be happy to see this business move on from our local shopping centre.

  • Bhagesh Chauhan

The place is awesome and like I have mentioned that I am one of the frequent user of Dominos pizza from Bulleen. Initially quality was good but as I keep on ordering and start feeling that they have started giving up on the quality which is not nice. Specially when you order online. So just wanted to remind this team that they should work on quality and take a good care of their customer specially the regular one.

  • Tom Filipcic

A smaller shopping centre with most of what you'll need for a local shopping experience including some speciality outlets and clothing. The only reason I mark it down a star is because parking can be problematic - especially the Coles carpark (busy and tight parking). Also, I've had a few mysterious dings appear after parking for a Coles shop. Annoying, not the centre's fault, but careful who you park near!

  • Shiny Pøłitics

The only way to the bathrooms is down the stairs but you have to choose the correct stairwell or you'll end up in a gym. There are a few places to get pies but they're all super expensive and I've heard the cheap sausage rolls are revolting. Some nice places to get food though and a few other retailers. The carpark is convenient but outdoor seating is non-existent and if it were it would be rubbish.

  • Andy Kemp

Great friendly barber shop. I've been going here for quite a few years and had my hair cut done by all the staff and never been dissapointed. My son is very fussy about who cuts his hair and they are always very accomodating. Always happy to reccomend this type of business as they deserve the positive review. Thank you Plazza Barbers

  • John Harding

Not a huge plaza but nice and compact. Has Coles and other shops. Hairdressers. Library. Newsagent. Cafes. Very good butcher. 2 × $2 shops. Post Office. Electronics Repairs. Great Vietnamese bakery. Fish Shop. Vision Radiology. Etc. Plenty of parking at front and rear of Plaza. Not a long walk to any of the shops. Worth inspection.

  • June Lau

Slightly run-down mall, rather messy but you have most of the essentials - medical centre, chemist warehouse, Coles etc. Parking is ok but lots of people park on the lines instead of within the line, in all angles so you'll need to be careful of where and how you park yours. It's probably for the locals only, nothing fancy...

  • Arvind Puri

Sad and outdated. Rundown. Uneven walkways. Poor layout in carpark. Nowhere you could go for a nice family brunch. Even though I live close by I intentionally drive further for a better experience. With all the developments in and around Bulleen I cannot understand why this centre is still stuck in the dark ages.

  • Jeremy Wong

A cosy small shopping mall with everything Italian and Mediterranean, complete with butchers, fishmonger, bakery, supermarket, chemist, florist to hairdressers. It has a council library and medical center too. The slightly sloping carpark can be a nuisance for wobbly shopping trolleys and seniors drivers though.

  • savas marcou

This is a sorry looking centre with many vacant shops and only a handful of businesses worth commenting on. The fish shop, classic hairdressers, chicken bar, the Iranian grocers and the fruit shop are all worth a visit, the remainder are scarcely worth mention, although the watch repair business is good value.

  • Sarah Smith

Who are the owners? This place is overdue for a revamp. All the Doncaster shopping centres and plazas have had renovations. This place looks exactly the same as when it was built in the early 80s. With Bulleen being such a nice area to live in, this place looks like it belongs in a different suburb.

  • Erik Krauklis

Smaller local shopping centre that is looking tired, in need of a make over. Recently the addition of a Chemist Warehouse will more custom. Three cafes offer food and coffee reasonable quality. Very busy on and around pension days because it is a local meeting place for older folk.

  • Jay

There were a lot of closed shops for a mid afternoon on a Saturday, but had they of been open this centre probably isn't as bad as some of the other reviews make out. For a small shopping centre it at least has more than the average amount of independent retailers.

  • Emma

Hairdressers, barber, clothing shops, cafes, tea and coffee shops, delis, op shop, greengrocers, butchers, bakers, fishmongers, fast food, international grocers, $2 up shops, Library, Coles, liquor store, Shell Petrol and Drive through Krispy Kreme.

  • Hamed Em

Not comprehensive but got a bit of everything including persian, middle East supermarket. Cigar and shisha store. Beverage shop. Coles, medical centre, barber and rest room. Domino's and donor kebab are behind it. krispy kreme, ... Doncare op shop.

  • Maggie Edwards

Very small and insufficient car parking spaces. My car is damaged everytime I park there. Not enough disabled car parking. The road in car park is full of pot holes. It is never a nice experience shopping there. The whole complex needs an overhaul.

  • Dean Shields

Really 3 stars Has nearly everything there for a one stop shop. A couple of Big Banks. A great Coles Really good Bakers Delight. Lots of take away shops. Optometrist. Speciality shops. Friendly customer service. Lots of Parking.

  • Liam pulra

I an often at Bulleen Plaza mostly because of the convenience of having most every day shops there. I agree with people that it is a little run down and parking is sometimes a pain. But i will still go there as the variety of shops is good.

  • Bernard Morey

A typical suburban shopping centre of the smaller sort. Cole as an anchor with major banks, a licenced post office, Chemist Warehouse, a municipal library, two bakeries and two $2 shops. The centre never has a vacancy so it must be sought

  • Nihal Farhan

It's a big shopping center with many options to shop. Located in templestowe which has fewer grocery stores near by. This shopping center has Coles and all other market places where one can get A-Z grocery. Had great experience

  • Glamour37 Hairsalon

A great local shopping that has a variety of shops in different and lovely cultures, a large parking lot in several different sections and a warm and friendly place for a friendly crowd, this place always looks clean and fresh.

  • Robin Hicks

Only problem is the car park designed in an era when people had smaller cars.... and could drive better than now. You have to negotiate speed humps with shopping trolleys and watch out for drivers ignoring the one way signals.

  • Dean Deano

Definitely in need of a facelift, the place hasn't changed since last century. Several coffee shops full of old European men sticking coffee and talking loud in there own language. Someone buy the place and revamp it please

  • Amanda H

Great mix of small businesses where you can get some great finds. The Italian grocers are fantastic! it is always busy but plenty of parking. The only downside is the Coles not being so great, but good if you need to duck

  • Bryan McGlade

A handy range of shops with pretty much everything your would need. Even a Krispy Kreme! Parking can be difficult when it's busy and the park is on a slope which can be a bit of a challenge. Good $2 shop. And a Coles.

  • Nigel Graham

My advice is NOT to use Bulleen service center shoe repairs, the shoe repair workmanship is very poor and the repairer doesn't back his workmanship. It's disappointing when you would like to support smaller business.

  • John Harding

Has Coles and lots of smaller shops. Good butcher. Discount Chemist Warehouse. Tight parking but lots of it. A bread shop. Newsagent. Post office. Several cafes. Not bad to visit for groceries and quick bites.

  • Alex Young

I knew this place back when it was the Bulleen Village. Still a great location for your weekly groceries, postal needs or banking. Great Chinese Massage shop and lots (at least three) manicure/beauty shops.

  • Gerard Gargano

The Plaza management are pathetic, they've just approved another two nail salons, it is ridiculous aside from that, the specialist shops that are there are great, particularly Piazza Barbers and the deli

  • Joseph Cole

PROSPECT Bio Nails & Beauty's acrylic nail service is top-notch! The staff is highly skilled, and my nails always look stunning. The salon's decor is trendy, and I always feel pampered during my visits.

  • Tom

Good little local plaza with a few eateries and shops. It's not your mega mall down the road but it serves the purpose of having a supermarket, fish monger, butcher, cafes, etc. for all the local needs.

  • Russell Knight

The little shops are great... nice to bump into folks from your neighbourhood and have a chat. Walking through the mall is like Dr. Who meets the original Star Trek... and COLES SMELLS REALLY FUNKY

  • G L

This place seriously needs an upgrade, it can't handle all the old people driving on the wrong side of the carpark. The Coles here was built in the 1900s and is still powered by the wagon wheel.

  • Amanda Ingham

This is an older style shopping centre with a strip of businesses at the back, side and front of the main entrance. There is a Coles, Post Office, Health food Shop, Bakers Delight as well as

  • Mohsen M. Razlighi

Too crowded. We wnt to the medical center and it was too crowded. We stayed a long time for our turn. But there was a chemist wharehouse, which had good stuff and complete materials.

  • Matthew Martin

A local shopping center in Bulleen. Hasn't been updated in a while inside. Has the core things you'd want,I guess. Food, including fresh, bottle shop, some bank branches amazingly.

  • David Della-Sabina

Not a bad little shopping centre if you enjoy a quick coffee and a little catch up, great barber located there. Car park often jamming, but such is life as ned Kelly once said.

  • Vally D'Ally

Coles & Krispy Kreme are my go to stores over here, traffic can be troublesome during peak hours with virtually no parking spaces. Good for early morning or late night visits.

  • Sue Nunn

I mainly go here for the two dollar shop which faces the car park at the front of the centre. It's really well stocked. If you want silk flowers this place is the best.

  • Andrew Lee

A nice local shopping area tucked behind a busy highway. A variety of shops selling mid high range quality products. Easy ample free parking, conviniently located.

  • Duncs

Good selection of shops. Coles open until 11pm 7 days. Hairdressers, beauty, deli's, electronics fixer, butcher, baker, chemist etc. All round easy place to go to.

  • Daniyeru

Pretty old and tarnished, but has the essentials at least. Obviously if youre a local can't complain, but this centre probably needs a good refurbishment / upgrade

  • Oppo Phone

The Coles is way bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Huge selection. Can't beat Krispy Kremes. Chemist warehouse too. Bakery. Great shopping area.

  • SwwifT

I regularly visit Bulleen Plaza whether it's for an appointment with the doctor or to stop by Krispy Kreme. Either way, it is always a pleasant experience.

  • John V Savage

One of the best fresh fish shops around. New fresh stock from the .wholesale fish market rvery day. Not the dmelly, unfresh stuff you find in most places.

  • Paul Chan

Bit limited on what's there and looks rundown. But some nifty shops and great for a quick run for essentials. The Pho shop inside is surprisingly not bad.

  • Al Gabriel

Great place if you want someone to smash into your car while shopping...Most of the patrons are around 150 years old n they have no idea how to drive

  • Kaye Zamora

Town centre in Templestowe area. Have quite a lot of shops (butchers, grocery, pharmacy, food stalls) that’s very convenient if you’re in the area.

  • MARTIN BRESLIN

Not impressed, seafood sauce on the floor which I slipped on. Defo's smell about the place. Would avoid if could. Zero star if available

  • Chetika Sharma

Very nice shopping centre which includes dominos, chemist warehouse, coles, medical centre etc etc.... P.S - I visited these places ;)

  • Paildolphin

Great variety of shops, lots of Italian, Persian food. Plenty of coffee shops, lots of parking. Great local shopping center!!

  • Beauty Tim

Average, small businesses doing routine things as they were done before. Nothing new or special under the sun! …

  • Phillip Johnson

I used to love coming to Bulleen Plaza to visit my Napolese brethren and eat a macrone! A shame the place burnt down.

  • Max04454

Good variety of shops and easy parking. Was my local shopping centre for 19 years and has survived the test of time.

  • Myles Vinecombe

Visited the pharmacy here, it's open till 9:00pm. Very convenient, not many pharmacy's open after 7:00pm weeknights.

  • Danny Koder

Small but very nice coffee shop coffee is spot on the food is is nice and the owners are always cheerful and happy

  • Eugene Stephenson

Decent plaza with a few handy shops. It is really hard to find the toilets though! Probably needs better signage.

  • Melissa Craven

Nice small shopping centre..not too much here but alot of family run business and a Coles and chemist warehouse

  • David Wylie

Banks have closed and taken all their ATM's. Now only can get your cash for a fee. Coles is ok but small.

  • Marea Howse

This is not the best shopping centre around. I wouldn't go there just for fun. Its very old style

  • Joseph Cai

Bulleen shopping plaza centre provides all the shops that are needed for everyday necessities.

  • Lynda OMeara

Car park is a bit hectic these days but could still find everything I needed on this trip!

  • Alvin Leong

Very laid back shopping centre. Full of retirees. Slow pace. I like it …

  • AirRead

Don't expect much great shopping. Normal mini plaza. Not much eatering.
