The car I picked up was cleaned in a mediocre manner (streaks all over the car, etc....)The tire kept deflating and I had to re-inflate it every 2 days to avoid the sensor alarming. I didnt have the time to deal with returning it all the way back to where I picked it up. So the car maintenance is medicore There was minor damage to the car upon receipt (no idea how it happened, and if I was responsible but why argue- I should have taken photos) and they charged a lot of money to fix it. It took months to get the proof of work required to pay this bill. I would not recommend this location, and If you are stuck with them, i would recommend meticulously going over the car before pick up (You may need to take it outside the garage because the lighting is poor inside the pickup area)

Horrible service. They are con artists. Do not rent from here but if you must TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They do not do a walk around with you like they should. When i dropped the car off he asked me if i filled the gas i said yes any damage i said no. 45 mins later he calls me and says there is a chip in the windshield and he wont close my contract until its paid for. I then started asking him questions which he didnt like. He slammed the phone down on me and when i called back he wouldnt answer. So i called head office and spoke to a manager he told me if they even try to charge you to call them back. You cant charge people when you didnt even check the car out or in properly. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. GO ACROSS THE STREET TO HERTZ. GUYS THERE ARE SUPER NICE.

My recent stint with Budget car rental was downright frustrating. Despite the attendant confidently claiming the vehicle was flawless, I discovered dents and scratches galore upon pickup. It felt like a blatant disregard for honesty. The ride itself was a clunky mess, and to top it off, some employees showed a disturbing bias, particularly against individuals of Indian descent. This mix of subpar vehicles and prejudiced behavior made for a seriously unpleasant rental ordeal. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere and avoiding this ordeal all together. The only positive note was that the process was relatively quick. But I attribute that to lack of customers going to them

I must say that do not rent from here , They cheat people .I booked a car at 2 pm on Saturday 11 Mar and I have to return it on 2 pm on Sunday . I reached there at 2:10 pm and they were closed at that time and no body picked the phone too .So I brought back the car with me and returned on Monday morning .And after one week I saw that they deducted 136CAD from my 500CAD deposit. And then from last 2 weeks I am following them and they are not telling me why they deducted 136CAD while it should be only one extra day rental which is also high 85CAD + tax .And now they start ignoring me . Please avoid renting from this place .

The guy at the front desk is a fraud!! He cheats people by saying that there is a new scratch or dent which was already there and tells you, you have to sign an incident report or else won't give back the advance amount that he collected and he gets different advance amounts from different people 500 from few and 750 from few . I have all the proof that he is doing a scam. Avoid this place at all costs !! He is a thief!! TAKE FULL photos and videos of the car before taking it for the ride !! Don't encourage this fraud !! Shame that such people exist!!

Complete and total rip off. Too exhausted and over it to get into details just don’t rent anything from this place. It’s also impossible to find and return the car. Extremely expensive. Budget where? I am disgusted. They will not tell you that you have to return the car by 8:30am, so of course you get charged an extra day if you’re late. $89 per day with taxes for a tiny hunch back car. Anyways, money is the root of all evil. Keep ripping people off, you’ll never prosper. The universe is watching.

Good in price. Friendly service. Little hard to locate the office initially. It is the same office of AVIS rental. I pre-booked a car but they didn't have it when I went there. Staff at counter, She asked me to go for next higher car. I didn't want to go. She offered the higher one (She had to do) and said it is offer for booked price. If I opted for it when she asked, I would have paid higher for the same car that she gave finally. I am not complaining anything here. It is just my experience

When picking up the car i didn’t have to wait, and the staff was friendly to greet me. On drop off they didn’t charge me any extra fees even though i was late to drop it off by about an hour. The car i got was nearly brand new, clean inside and out. Overall found their prices were very good with respect to the car i got.

Quick and easy, was in and out in no time, friendly staff.. Finding the place is a bit tricky if you enter the building from the North side, their entrance is at the other end, and depending upon from where you see, it gets hidden behind the staircase.. maybe it was me but I took a couple of minutes to find them...

Worse service! i made a reservation online for 300 .. and when we went to pick up the car they changed it and made us pay 480... just because they knew it was a long weekend and we wouldn't find another alternative... they ripped us off!!

Their cars are brand new, well maintained. And most important is their service top notch. I was so happy to rent from Sussex branch and will not hesitate to rent again from them when I need another car, they will be my first choice.

Awful experience. They wouldn't give me a car with my international license even though I am allowed to use it for 3 months from landing in the country. The second time I have issues with this rental. NEVER COMING BACK!

Was running late, already paid for the reservation online. The man said he will wait past closing no problem. Got there 10 mins after closing and the guy closed down. I never got my $216 back. Never got an email.

Horrible phone service. For some reason all calls and all Canadian numbers/local numbers are being forwarded to their US number and there is no working Canadian number! I’ve tried multiple times and had no luck.

Absolutely no signage impossible to find and return your car. Takes 30-45 min circling around to find where you are riposted to be. Worst signage at a return I’ve ever seen.

My experience has been good. 1. Check car thoroughly including km reading and take photos. 2. Ask questions before hand 3. This avoids confusion from both end

Very poor experience with Budget Car rental. Anytime during weekend, we don't see availability of cars. Also, its too costly compared to Enterprise.

This branch give me an amazing car rental experience, Soni Dori, the branch manager always provide me an excellent customer satisfaction.

They provide a poor service and unpredictable charge you. They will not check the car on drop off and call you back with extra charges!

Waste service. Got the car without winter tires in Winter. Booked Full size and got old car which doesn’t even have blind spots.
