I went to this school from 1940 to 1946. The teachers were very good but the headmaster Mr Betteson was very crabby, however he loved conducting music assembly and chose me to be his music monitor in 1946 when I was in 6th grade. I was very proud to be selected and endeavoured to do my best to make sure his tuning fork and scroll with the scales on it were in place for him . One thing that was most important in those days was spelling correctly. I enjoyed my years there. I believe the teachers gave me a good grounding for later on when I went to Frankston High School. My name was then Gladys Taylor.

in the late 80s there was this hag margaret that took over the canteen that changed the menu to gross 'health' food and replaced the usual version of advance australian fair that was played at assemblies, with her playing it on piano. so full of herself. not sure what the school's like now so im giving it 3 stars because im sure students will rate it bad just for fun, but it may be bad. but i needed to spread the margaret gospel.

At an elementary school level, in my personal opinion, there appears to be an excessive emphasis on LGVTQIA+ (e.g. no Father's Day celebration) matters rather than maintaining a balanced academic focus. Nonetheless, the school staff are remarkably friendly and accessible. The campus is spacious and consistently accessible to the public.

Overall: It's a pretty easy school, but if you start failing you can't really get better because of the teachers. They never taught us division, BASICALLY none of the kids in the top math group I was in knew how to do it. Free dress is good though~ and you felt like you were friends with the teachers which was nice …

I attend this school and apart from what I'm gonna say now, Nice for a school. So 1, The new computer policies. This... Ugh. Months after allowing Minecraft edu, Pow! Gone. 2, Um... Nah that's it. Apart from that, I like dis school! Thx for making it noice!

This school is okay they focus mainly on mental health than teaching students. They change the same program every two years which means you learn the same thing two years in a row. There is no accelerated program and the classes are all in the same room.

Loved the school but the maths was taught so bad. Im doing terrible in maths in highschool because its too big of a step up. The new principle isnt very good either. The school has kinda fallen apart.

Brunswick South West has a asphalt tennis court that is free to use, a basketball court and an astroturf area. My kids are up there all the time even though they do not go to the school!

I went to this school in the 1970's from prep to grade 6 and also the kindergarten across the road. Many good memories. My mother and my aunt and uncle also went here.

This is a good primary school. The teachers are friendly. Kids love it. It has high score in better education in year 2017.

There has been a sad decline at this school in the last year with a new principal and many poorly implemented changes.

Used to go to this school in 1st grade and prep. Now I'm going to a specialized high school in NYC York college
