This is a must when you are visiting San Diego. It is a great place to walk around for hours and explore. There are shops and restaurants and little pop up stores selling cool little trinkets. The views of both the bay and the city are amazing. If you have a dog it is also a great place to talk them for a walk as well. More

This pier (and the area nearby) was undergoing some well deserved upgrades as of this writing. The location is close to local dining, shops, harbor tour embarkation points and the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. Cruise ships and the occasional Mega-yacht use it on stops to the local area. More

Took the ferry for a fun 15 min trip to Coronado island. The ferry leaves every hour, takes 15-20 mins to get to the Coronado island. There's a return boat at the half hour evry hour too. So you'll have to wait for an hour for the return boat. The one way fee is $7 and round trip $14.

Great place.Beautiful view of the city and harbor. Pretty touristy, tends to get crowded during peak season/hours. Close to everything, including but not limited to public transportation, cruise ship/tourist boat terminals, good restaurants, downtown, night life, hotels. More

Beautiful pier located conveniently close to downtown San Diego. It's really easy to buy ferry tickets here at the booth or online to go across the bay to Coronado Island. Also becomes an outdoor market place on the weekends with multiple different vendors.

The tables and chairs that were here some time ago have been removed from the end of the pier. When this first open, they were fully available and great place to hang out & eat lunch, have a snack, or just relax. Not sure why they removed

It was a fun Sunday stroll. Some of finer things in San Diego can be seen in this location. The Midway Musium, Star of India Ship, multiple cruse options and many new resturants. I you are lucky you will find private yatchs docked here

This is our preferred spot to watch the Big Bay Boom. The fireworks barge is just off the pier and you can also see 2 of the other simultaneous shows happening at Harbor Island and Shelter Island. It was great! More
