I'm a former member of the church for several years and now found a better church in the area after long period of consideration and prayer. There was a pastoral change back in 2021 that has seriously affected the church for worse. Tyler, I think he tries but generously putting it he's neither half of preacher nor leader JMC was. In addition, I've heard multiple troubling accounts of him being manipulative, petty and egotistical. Rest of the leaders - Half of them are truly good and genuine (I feel bad for them...) but other half are dishonest toxic types to barely competent space fillers. Unless something changes dramatically for the better this church is likely to wither in to irrelevance in the Portland Metro in the coming years - how sad for a church that once had national visibility and promise

The music and drums are so loud it shakes the windows of the neighboring homes. I sent an email asking if they could turn their sound system down so that they don’t wake people at 8am and they replied that they’re within the noise ordinance of the city and won’t play their music quieter.

I believe I found my new church. I attended the 5pm Sunday downtown Portland location, and I loved it. Worship, message, people all wonderful. The messages are recorded, however, nothing is quite like a live experience. Thank you Bridgetown …

Have listened to their podcasts and read books by John Mark Comer for years! Got the chance to visit while traveling through Portland and had a wonderful experience. Great sense of community, Biblical teachings, prayer, and worship.

Bridgetown is such a beautiful church. Really nice people, great atmosphere and services. I would recommend getting there early because often you will have to park in neighborhoods around the church.

This church is a gift. I look forward to continuing to see more BIPOC folks in leadership and on the elder board. Thank you for all that you’re doing during COVID to care for our community!

Terrible neighbors. Their music is SO loud and they refuse to do anything about it even when they play until 9pm sometimes and start at 7:30am. The bass shakes our windows next door.

Thankful for a local church like Bridgetown Church planted and called to reach the people and communities of Portland, Oregon for Jesus!

If being pretentious and progressive is your motto go here. I’m a Philadelphia native and this place is nothing but a fashion show

I love the teachings of Jesus at Bridgetown. I feel we are truly a family and it carries through the week not just on Sundays.
