"What a wonderful place to dine in! A good experience, the place was opulent, marbles everywhere and like in a cabaret and we felt like we were taken back in time"
Located a couple of hundred meter of the Piccadilly tube stop Regent Street entrance. Entrance on the entrance level Floor is of a small French wine bar, but two flights down and it’s very much a different scene with art deco interior, massive chandelier and jazz singers for the afternoon. The Formula three course came with a glass of wine, the red being drinkable. The house wine the waiter noted. Good selection and extensive menu a number of prix offers. Some had the Formulae menu- three courses with glass of wine and water which had the celeriac salad starter which was excellent. The lobster bisque of the Ala carte was also great- no lobster meat in it though. Back to Formulae Menu, The coq du vin was a massive portion and looked appetising. The dorado filler was good but unfortunately unimaginative! The hake was a dry but salvaged by the chervil butter sauce with its 4 clams. The lemon meringue was good. Something similar to that of m&S said one of the diners. Service was present but didn’t intrude. Jazz live in the back was very much a take it or leave it depending on distance from the stage.

Always safe and reliable to eat at Brasserie Zédel so a strong four stars. Without further ado … Here’s what I liked: • Always a great atmosphere • Service generally good • Food consistent (this time I had the Halibut which was cooked perfectly and two portions of fries as they’re that good!) • The bread at the start is always moreish. This time it was warm and crisp. Very nice. • Great to host guests • Pleasant (live) jazz music • The desserts What I didn’t like: • Wine prices are too high. From £15 for a small glass is not in keeping with the French brasserie spirit at all. • Service whilst generally good can be hit and miss • Time to roll out a few more non meat options This is constructive criticism as I really enjoy going here and will continue to do so. Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? YES Price point: $$ Excuse the photos- they don’t do the food justice but it was dark and ‘ambient’

Proper fast food. Came here an hour before a theatre showing and had our food served to us literally 1-2 minutes after selecting from the menu. Classic French items, which don't have the biggest appeal for me, but they tasted very good nonetheless. We paid up 25 minutes after arriving (15% service included in the bill). The atmosphere is a real basement buzz, a combination of chatter and the jazz singers bouncing off all six walls. You start to forget you're literally by/beneath Piccadilly Circus.

Had a lovely meal with 2 friends. Excellent choice. Such a wonderful setting - really feels such an authentic brasserie. Very opulent setting. Food was lovely overall, duck was excellent, puddings good - dauphinois potatoes rather disappointing and cumin roasted carrots underwhelming. A bit overpriced and a 15% service charge.

What a wonderful place to dine in! A good experience, the place was opulent, marbles everywhere and like in a cabaret and we felt like we were taken back in time. Our food choices were awesome, we recommend the escargot, lobster bisque and coq au vain, the servers were great too, will definitely come back for more.

This place was my family's first Michelin restaurant in London, we had great meals and desserts, the price is worthy, the location is cool, there are a pub, a theater in the same building. I think that it's a good place for a family's dinner. Oh~ their onion soup is soooooo good ! I still remember the taste!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I would definitely make a reservation before going. I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. I got the 3 course meal and for the price, the quality was out of this world. If you’re in London, don’t pass this place up. Come for the food, stay for the live music.

The food was amazing and well presented, the place looked so amazing! Everything about the place made me enjoy eating here. The reason for a 3 star is because my friend fell down the stairs and no staff members came up to her and helped her.

Highly recommend
We enjoyed our meals very much. The service and interior were beautiful and the price was not top excessive. I especially enjoyed the prix fixe menu with the potato and leek soup and the dahl. The only thing was that the desserts were all a little too sweet.

Our meal for two came to £119 for two courses each, a couple of sides, a cocktail and a glass or two of wine each. The main courses were the chopped steak that was average at best; and the onglet which was average. (Properly cooked but so small.) Service was proficient. Atmosphere always good.
