Alhamdulillah!...apparently, the only mosque in Pilzen, Check Republic. It's a small mosque, but qell attended, especially on Friday. It serves the students and staff of nearby Charles University. In actual fact, the mosque is located in a room within the student hostel. I will advise worshippers coming to the masjid (mosque) to make wudh'u (ablution) before coming. It doesn't have the facility for ablution. Worshippers should also come with any form of identification such as passport, permits, and so on. There's a lady receptionist at the entrance of the building who insists on identification before being allowed into the building. She would normally collect your identification and documents it, and she would hold on to it until you are about to exit the building. This is expected after all, the mosque is located within a student accommodation. Otherwise, everything else is okay. The mosque is non-sectarian and has every hallmark of al-sunnah masjid. It's well rugged and has a good collection of islamic texts, including the Quran. The Imam is a student who is trying his best. Alhamdulillah! Unfortunately on Friday, 25th August, there was a notice at the enterance of the building where the mosque is located, that non-student would no longer be allowed into the building where the mosque is located. In order words, only student would be allowed to pray there. As things stand, there is no public prayer venue for non-students in Pilsen. From 1 September, we would no longer be able to congregate for solat jumua'h. However, as I have stated above, student will continue to use the mosque. Allah must'aan!
