Had the best time! Was on a work trip and wanted to have a nightcap before returning to Chicago. Went by myself, sat at the bar, and everyone was incredibly friendly. Easy conversation and cheap beer. AJ (owner) introduced himself and let me play a couple songs on the jukebox. If you’re on the fence, definitely go! You won’t regret it.

Really enjoyed having a few beers at this bar when I came to New York. Awesome atmosphere if you like hard rock and heavy metal (which I do). The bar tender was very friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable also. Good selection of beer and drinks. Low-key atmosphere. Definitely a cool place to stop if you're in the area.

Best bar I came across in my week in nyc. The barmaid Sara went above and beyond to make sure sure we were well taken care off including creating custom cocktails for us on request. We ended up returning to the bar every night on our trip because of how welcome we were made to feel. Highly recommend More

It's a small bar with great vibe ,the Staff were nice, the atmosphere was welcoming. the Jukebox was filled with 90s rock music I grew up with. the drinks were decent price, I was visiting from a different state but definitely will come back if I'm ever in New York again More

I wanted to find a chill bar in Hells Kitchen when I was in NY, I was not disappointed. This place is so rad, it’s a touch of old NY, 70s punk rock NY. 10/10 would recommend for any metal heads or punkers visiting NY. The locals were welcoming cool. I love NY

Cheap drinks, well kept Diamond pool table, but unfortunately there’s often no one there that wants to play. Older crowd, usually everyone else there is 30-40+. Lotta rock music being played on jukebox and always a decent amount of people sitting at the bar.

Music glaringly loud. Also, the immediate area is particularly dangerous. I was approached by two aggressive angry black guys separately once going there and the second time leaving. I was literally just walking minding my business. Don’t go solo for sure.

Typical dive bar. While they may not win an architectural Digest award , it is a Good atmosphere. Draft Beer wasn't the coldest, but it was drinkable. Good enough service. Again.. It's a dive ish bar.. You know what your getting and we got it. :) More

I have gone to this bar multiple times and never had an issue. Tonight the bar tender asked me for ID to close out. I was confused and asked her why. She told me they always collect an ID AND WRITE DOWN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION in case you

No frills, no holds barred watering hole complete with basic, solid draft beer selection at around $7 a go. Well maintained pool table with the correct chalk board sign-up system and dependable, regular pool players ready to take you on for

Blue Ruin Bar offers a distinctive and inviting ambiance that sets it apart in the nightlife scene. Nestled in the heart of the city, the bar exudes a cozy yet chic atmosphere with its dim lighting and eclectic decor. The carefully crafted

Place is very loud lol. They mostly play American music eventhough I went for maybe less than an hour so perhaps theyd add different music. Employees are very helpful and they have a pool table. Affordable to have a couple drinks and long

Walked in here to have a few drinks on a Wednesday. Cute local spot in Hell's kitchen !! Bartender Eleni omg!!! Was amazing. After 10pm the place became jammed packed. Eleni was handling a full busy bar with nothing but amazing customer

We got in for 5 minutes to get a shot after a crazy day of work and got yelled by the security saying that was not okay to get in and don’t buy anything. What if I didn’t like the bar? Or didn’t find what I want to drink? So ridiculous.

This place is not my typical hang but I knew I had to try it out after the reviews. When we arrived to this dimly lit grungy cavern, we were greeted by a curt bartender who when asked about the beers on special told us to go look by the

We were 8 french people, and we received the worst behaviour-attitude-welcoming ever. From the waitress and the guy with the cap. + the Margarita was disgusting and someone had to pay for all of us (only one transaction.. why ?)

Really good bar, reminds me a lot of Ten Cat Tavern in Chicago. Went on a Sunday night. Nice crowd/vibe and they have an old school jukebox. (Only $5 for 15 songs!) Also can’t beat $6 PBR’s or $8 for a PBR + shot in Manhattan.

Had an absolutely blast here with a good friend the last two weeks when I was working in NYC. Great dive bar, with good vibes and bar tenders. Drinks decently price and the music is always setting the vibe!

It's a really hard place to drink on the west side and this is the place to drink and to hang. Aj the owner is amazing and will treat you well. Easy beers on the $ and super quick service from Ashley.

Typical american music, it was too hot inside even during October, they have only beers if you look for a place for a coctail this is not the place but the price is pretty decent for beers More

Rock' n Roll from the 90's, a good pool, a beautiful big wooden bar and a variety of beers and Bourbons. A great vintage cash register, in great condition and working.
