Horrible flower arrangement for my Mother. The florist assured my husband that it will "look impressive". When he picked it up and noted that it doesn't look nice she assured him that people are very impressed with tulips and always love these. Regretfully, I saw the bouquet too late, when he already gave it to my Mother. Several very small tulips - I mean, tiny pale blooms and short stems!! No other flowers, not even greens to make it look better. Don't get me wrong, a tulip bouquet can be very nice - when flowers are large and nicely arranged - but these flowers looked like she picked them in her back yard. Absolutely ruined the holiday for everyone, and refused to refund - stated we need to bring the bouquet back. Can you imagine asking for the flowers back, after you already gave them to someone? This florist obviously can. To the response from the owner: 1. My husband provided you with his budget: $30-35 per bouquet, and asked whether you could make two bouquets of spring flowers for the money. You stated you could. If this was insufficient amount, you neglected to tell him so. 2. Later, you stated that one bouquet costed $45, and the other $25. He specifically stated the bouquets should be approx the same. 3. Sorry, I am from Europe, and those are NOT Holland tulips!!!! Either your supplier lies to you, or you have no clue how the Holland tulips look like. Have you ever been to Holland during one of their tulip fests? I mean, even the tulips from other European countries are 4-5 times bigger than what you are selling, let alone Holland tulips, that except for a very big size stand out due to bright and unusual colors. I mean, no one was expecting the Holland flowers, but for goodness sake, please don't lie that those were Holland tulips. This is laughable. 4. When my husband saw the two bouquets, he voiced his concern that one was much worse than the other. You stated he shouldn't have worried, and anyone will be impressed with these tulips. You have mentioned nothing about the price being insufficient, you haven't offered to re-make the bouquet for more money - you convinced him that was a GREAT bouquet. 5. You can buy a better bouquet from any grocery store, for twice as cheap. This is sad.

I asked for two bouquets of about equal value, priced $30-35 each. The florist stated she knew exactly what I needed, and didn't even come out from behind your counter to see what I was pointing at. When I picked the bouquets up, I saw that one bouquet looked much better than the other one: it was very nice and colorful, while the other one was just a bunch of very small and pale tulips. I have never asked for the tulips to begin with!! I pointed at the assorted flowers. I told the florist about my concerns that the tulip bouquet looked bad, but she laughed at my concerns, said that everyone loves the tulips, and she was sure the person will be impressed. I had a lot of doubts, but I am a man, and I don't know much about the flowers. So I trusted this "professional's" opinion and took the flowers home. Huge mistake! When I presented my wife and Mother-in-law with the flowers (I gave the bouquet I liked more to my wife), my Mother-in-law was offended and hurt, and my wife got very upset that I ordered such a nice bouquet for her and such a bad one for her Mother. The holiday was ruined for our family. I talked to the florist about this and asked for a refund for the bad bouquet. She stated that I must bring the bouquet back for a refund. I am definitely not asking someone I presented with the flowers to return these (no matter how bad they are). The florist also confessed (only when I asked for the refund - she hadn't thought to mention this when I picked up the flowers and was concerned with the quality of one bouquet) that the tulips cost $25, and the other bouquet - $45. This is not what I asked for, I specifically instructed the bouquets should be of about the same ($5 here or there was fine). Thus, she ignored everything I asked for, assured me the recipients will love the bouquets she can make for the price I offered, but wasn't able to deliver good product and refused to refund the bad bouquet. Horrible product and lack of service skills/simple respect to customers - that is listening to instructions and concerns.

Christine and the Bloomingdays team truly went above and beyond for my order. First, the flowers are spectacular and are even better than I expected based on the website photos. Second, they were very helpful on the phone when I had some questions before placing my order because I really wanted to make sure to get things right from out of town. Third, I had the flowers delivered to a restaurant which is renowned for its service, but my fears around being an out-of-town orderer came true in an unexpected way. Through a comedy of errors the restaurant failed to provide the flowers to my mom during her three-hour meal despite at least two requests to two different people to help look for them when they were not on the table at arrival. I took a chance on something fun by trying to get them for the table instead of having them delivered to a home and felt like a fool who had wasted both money and the artistry of the flowers. That's where Bloomingdays came to the rescue! They made things right where the restaurant did not. Although they were able to provide photographic proof that the restaurant accepted the flowers, they refunded the order and apologized for the situation. On TOP of that, they went back to the restaurant another day, rescued the flowers from the refrigerator, and then drove incredibly out of the way to bring them to my mom's house so she could enjoy her bouquet. They didn't just go the extra mile, they literally went many extra miles. WOW!! My mom loves the arrangement and I just can't thank Bloomingdays enough times for putting so much empathy and work into this experience.

We had the pleasure of having Bloomingdays Flower Shop provide all the floral bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and décor for our cake for our wedding on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Wishing Well Barn. We worked with Christine Vasconcelo and from our first consultation meeting I had complete confidence in her for our wedding day floral needs. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted for my bouquet, I had a bunch of Pinterest pictures with a general idea of what I liked not knowing what flowers were in season and more or less expensive. She did an excellent job explaining and picking flowers that would give me the “look” I was looking for all while staying within my budget and staying with in season flowers to keep the lowest cost. I didn’t know exact names of flowers, just based off the pictures I showed her she went in the back and quickly put together a bouquet to give me a real-life idea and it was beyond perfect, exactly what I was looking for. She was so easy to work with, insanely quick at returning emails and phone calls. She even texted me pictures the day before the wedding of what she was working on and it really took that anxiety and gave me relief of wondering what was going to show up the day of the wedding and if I would be happy with what I received. She was very straightforward, and I knew exactly what I was getting, and I was definitely more than happy! I placed an order via their website for a delivery to occur on a following Monday. Monday came and went by and there were no flowers delivered. I called the store on Tuesday and was informed they sent me an email saying the vase I requested was out of stock. I checked my email, both inbox and junk, and saw nothing from them. They reassured me that since I called them, they would deliver the flowers later that day. Prior to the stores posted closing time, I called again since the flowers had not arrived. They told me that there was an issue (no details) and that the delivery would be done tomorrow. Wednesday came, and I was skeptical at this point, so I called to confirm the delivery was going to occur. The clerk told me that they will be delivered by 4pm. So I waited until 4 pm and yet again, no flowers. I was no longer calm about this, and called again. This time I asked to speak to a manager, which was denied, so I continued to talk to the same clerk that I had been talking to the past two days. After being placed on hold a number of times, I was told to contact another store that the order was sent to. The flowers did end up later that day and they were a very nice arrangement. If you ever find yourself trying to place an order via their site, I would highly recommend you search elsewhere. I gave two stars, based on their amazing job with the flowers, but the whole process was annoying and that justifies the loss of three stars.

I received flowers at work today from this company. It was a Valentine’s Day delivery and It literally comprised of 2 pink roses and a bunch of cheap dying lillies. This delivery looked very different from any other delivery my boyfriend has ever sent me. Compared to other flower deliveries in the office, this was clearly a mess. When my boyfriend saw the flowers he was very disappointed and immediately started apologizing to me (which is really not his fault). He showed me a picture of the flowers he ordered and it looked nothing like what was delivered to me. It was bigger, Fuller, and had many more roses. I got even more angry when he told me he paid $73 for it. Whaaaaaaatttt??? $73?? He showed me the email receipt because I thought he was exaggerating. He wasn’t. I could get better flowers at Walmart $15. He said he just wanted to support a local florist instead of buying from the big flower companies online, like he usually does. Thank you Bloomingdays for ruining our valentines experience. My colleagues got first hand review of your disappointing delivery. I can’t even imagine for the life of me who at your shop inspected these flowers against what you advertised and deemed it satisfactory for a paying customer. Frivolous waste of money.

I used Bloomingdays Flower Shop for my wedding on 12/19/15. I never even met with Christine in person, but instead had a phone consultation. She was very eager to help design the arrangement that I had dreamed of, but couldn't exactly put in to words. When I told her what my budget was, she was very understanding and found a way to give me everything I wanted within that budget. Other florists automatically dismissed my preferred flowers saying that they would be out of my budget and we would have to substitute. She sent me photos of different ribbon options for the bouquets so that I wouldn't have to make the drive to pick out my arrangement. The day before the wedding she sent me photos of the boutonnieres, corsages and bouquets and my jaw-dropped. The vibrant colors of the flowers with the ribbon was exactly what I wanted. On the day of my wedding she and her assistant arrived promptly and made it a point to stop in to the room where we were getting ready to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and to formally introduce herself. She was very easy to work with and was very reasonable with price. I would choose this florist over and over again for any floral needs!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in to order flowers for my daughter’s sweet 15 next month. We walked in and just stood there as the lady that was there was busy writing in a notebook paid no mind to us. Customer service sucks here she kept her head in the notebook and very cold. My mother walked out of the store this woman didn’t even bother to pick her head up and look. For all the good reviews this place got they definitely need to brush up on customer service. Will never come here again. Was made to feel like my money was no good here. Response to your response: a simple I’ll be right with you or let me just finish up here would have been fine but instead you came off rude with the how many you want. I speaking in Spanish to my parents because they don’t speak a lot of English and we were calculating numbers but it was rude you didn’t even look up. I have been in customer service for 22 yrs and never met someone so cold please be a little warmer to your customers

This gives them big buying power to keep costs competitive for all clients. Lastly, I appreciate the fact that Bloomingdays "sticks with what it does best." They have not tried to offer other wedding type services in competition with fellow vendors. They stick with flowers and that is why they are a team player with all of us in the special event industry. Bloomingdays was recommended to me by our wedding coordinator and I’m so glad we decided on them! Christine was great to work with. She was so responsive whenever we had questions, and she totally got my vision, probably even better than I did! She found us the perfect rose color that I didn’t even know existed but fit our color scheme exactly! She sent me some sneak peek pictures of the centerpieces and bouquets the night before the wedding and I was so excited to see the rest. When I saw it all in person, the florals were even prettier than I could have imagined. On top of all that, the price we paid was very reasonable. I can’t recommend Bloomingdays enough. Very disappointed with the delivery I ordered for my wife. I ordered a beautiful arrangement the deluxe erosion, just because I wanted to cheer my wife up. Well they were not so beautiful bu the time she got them. I am a nurse and am away from the house longer these days and she is home trying to stay healthy. When the delivery came no one rang the door bell to let her know there was a delivery out side. When I got home I found the delivery outside our front door they had been in full sun all day. They were wilted and dead. The delivery guy did not try to leave them with a neighbor or even try to deliver later. I am sure this is a good shop and their arrangements are beautiful, bit I am just the unlucky one.

My husband paid for a bouquet promising 5 blooming irises and I received two blooming irises and 3 dead iris stems. The bouquet delivered was also remarkably smaller than the one pictured on the website and several of the other flowers were substituted with carnations. The staff was extremely unhelpful and downright rude on the phone, saying that he had ordered the standard bouquet and not the deluxe. When he pointed out that the bouquet was underwhelming, they snarkily replied that, "receivers of the standard bouquet were often upset" by the lack of similarities between the advertisement and the product. I love that my husband got me flowers, but hate that this place ripped him off.

I’m very disappointed with their lack of communication. Of course we’re dealing with trouble times and my my mother being out of state and alone I tried ordering her flowers for Mother’s Day 2 days in advance. Unfortunately not only did they not have a way to deliver the flowers I was not notified by phone or email about the issue. I tried calling over the weekend but never got to speak with anyone. I waited a few hours until after opening Monday morning, the next day after Mother’s Day, and spoke with someone who wasn’t sympathetic at all. She kept reminding me I wasn’t charged for the order, which wasn’t my concern. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Such a great experience! I wanted to send flowers to my partner and her mother to cheer them up during these trying times! My partner always sends me flowers so I wanted to send some and surprise her and her mother ! I put a last minute same day delivery order in and called to make sure or the availability and Bloomingdays went above and beyond to fulfill my request I will be ordering again They also sent me a text and photo of the bouquets it made me smile and made my day I’m happy with this service once I am back in Tampa for good I will be ordering from here for now on! Christine and her staff were so wonderful and helpful for us! About two weeks before a wedding we needed to find a new florist and she was there to save the day!! She took down lots of notes and listen to everything we were looking for and worked to make everything look so beautiful. When the day before the wedding came she sent photos of the flowers and worked with me to tweak the bouquets to make sure that everything mashed and was beautiful and exactly as I wanted. Christine is amazing. My daughters wedding was March 14, 2020. The first time we met with Christine was the best experience we had, she really listen to my daughter and understood her vision. She didn’t try to talk her into anything. The bridal bouquet was EXACTLY what my daughter wanted. She did all the flowers for the whole wedding. We had 200 guests and a large bridal party. They delivered an FTD order to me for my birthday and some of the flowers were in really bad shape. I called as soon as I got them to let them know because they supposedly have a 24 hour fresh guarantee. The guy had me send a picture and said he'd talk to his manager about resending the next day and I never heard from them. Don't offer the guarantee if you are not going to honor it! Whether or not they were ordered through FTD, Bloomingdays put them together and delivered them. Poor quality.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend. Her name is on the delivery order. Yet some incredibly intelligent person thought it would be a good idea to write the wrong name on the card. After exiting my meeting. I come back to my phone and see multiple messages and calls. All from a very frantic girlfriend Who was not pleased about receiving flowers with another woman's name. It's absolutely stupid that anybody would do this!!!

Amazing! Try to order flowers at 1-800-Flowers to send to the hospital. I used them because I live out of town I got a call the day of delivery and I was informed that the florist they set me up doesn't deliver there? Found this great place helped me on a Sunday 10 mins before closing! Very nice and professional and will be delivered tomorrowJust a reminder use LOCAL even if you live out of town!!!!

Best flower shop in Tampa! The customer service here is outstanding. I ordered flowers last minute for my mother for Valentine’s Day and she was unhappy with the quality as they wilted quite fast. I reached out to Christine and she immediately had a fresh bouquet re sent that looked absolutely beautiful. I’ve been using them for years and will continue to do so!

I find it interesting that this is not the review I originally left. The wording was changed. The arrangement I sent my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary was gorgeous. & delivered same day as ordered. A small confusion with texts being sent to them prior to delivery, so it wasnt a surprise, but either way they loved them!

This the 8th or 9th time I have picked up flowers. Great arrangements, well priced, super nice. I mistakenly went in the day before Valentine's Day. They were filling about a thousand orders. They treated me as if I were the only person in the shop. I don't bother going anywhere else.
