I visited this local halal cafe shop before in 2019 in Athens and that time when i discovered this place and posted its location in Google map so that more people will know about it, the price was cheap at just 2 Euros for a palte of Briyani rice that comes with a small chicken drumstick. The staff at that time was also humble and polite During my recent trip to Athens last month, i decide to pay a visit again. However, most of the Indian / Bangladeshi / Pakistan staff is no longer the same as the ones i saw last time. The current staff was still friendly and polite but the staff informed the price of the same Briyani is now 3.50 Euros when i verbally asked. However the banner outside still indicated 2 Euros. I took Another plate of plain rice with a plates of Lamb meat curry kormak style gravy which the syaff informed me the price was 6 Euros. Taste of the lamb curry was delicious even though price is abit steep. Hence total would be 9.50 Euros for Chicken Briyani (3.5 Euro) plus the Plain Rice with Lamb curry (6 Euro) I did not ask for extra rice but halfway eating, the staff placed another plate of plain Basmati rice on my table and inform me to eat more. There was also a jug of plain water on the table so i just ask for 2 empty glass to drink the plain water. When i went to the counter to pay, the staff told me the total payment would be 12 Euros. Hence that means the complimentary jug plain water on the table and the extra plate of plain rice cost another 2.50 Euros. To pay total 12 euros (equivalent to SGD$18) for a simple meal for 2 person is quite expensive for a small cafe in a local working neighbourhood especially since you can find alot affordable cheap food elsewhere inAthens. And for SGD$18, you can get 3 generous plates of Briyani that have more spoce and herbs with good big serving of mutton or chicken. I would definitely go to this place again if it was the humble past experience that i gone to in 2019 but definitely would not come anymore in future since the recent Feb 2023 visit was quite expensive to me. Nevertheless for those who dont mind, can go here to have a try and give good business to fellow staff.

If you want traditional food and halal then this is your place. Found this little gem on the way to the airport. Price and service was excellent.
