I've recently joined this surgery as my previous one in Morden had become an increasingly difficult to get through to by telephone. I never got to see the same doctor and whenever I went for a blood test several nurses I saw there would always do it differently - some with a tourniquet some without. Yet each time I would be left with an achy arm and heavy bruising afterwards. I hated going for them. I have to have bloods taken regularly for autoimmune Hyperthyroidism condition. I mentioned this to nurse Tracy today and she said 'well I'll do my best' and honestly she did! It was the best blood test I've ever had. I didn't feel a thing and a couple of hours later I couldn't even see where she'd taken the blood from, no mark whatsoever on my arm so 10 out of 10 for you today nurse Tracy I also must give a shoutout to the reception staff at Bishopsford Road Medical Centre. Thankfully I've not needed to call up that many times but when I have done they seem genuinely sympathetic. Whenever I rang the Morden Medical Centre I'd frequently be held in a queue for anything up to 30mins or longer would have an argument with reception staff who were rude, lacked empathy and generally wanted to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. I hope Bishopsford Road surgery provide a better service.

Hi. I'm very disappointed by the Service. My annual blood test result come back nearly two months ago. The phone call appointment with doctor to talk about it was two weeks later. He called but reception was very bad and I couldn't hear anything. Obviously , can't call back so I asked if DR can call again. It is over 40 days and he didn't call. Also last year when we had conversation about my results he didn't mention about important fact I discover later reading results myself. So this time I asked to print it for me. So I'll collect it and go to check with someone more competitive.

I would like to give my Mums GP a 5 star review. Mum ran out of pain killers and the GP went out of his way to help us, called the hospital after hours to find out Mums exact prescription and then called us back just before 6pm to confirm that the prescription is with Anna's for me to collect. If the GP had not been so pro active then my Mum would of had to spend a whole evening in terrible pain Thank you Doctor and thank you to the receptionist who kept taking my panicked calls to check if the Doctor will still be calling Mum on the day

Not even 1 star i can give. Its been more than a week now that i have my prescription approved. When i went to my pharmacist they said still not with them. Everyday made follow up with receptionist and said already in the pharmacy, while going to pharmacy, pharmacist said request still not with them. Keep coming back for almost 5 days but still my medication is not in the pharmacy. Tried to call but no answer instead answering machine. My concern now is my health as this is my daily maintenance medicine and not having it for 8 days now.

Have been registered with this GP for almost 6 years now. The service used to be very good, but since the pandemic everything is going downhill. Even now when things seem to have settled with COVID-19 it's almost impossible to get an appointment. Nevermind seeing a doctor even on the phone I have been waiting for more than half an hour. When at last the phone rings they put you on hold again and again. If I want to listen to music I'd put something from YouTube and not spend time with that elevator music.

dr sophia is the WORST dr I have ever spoken too I don’t know how she become a doctor My wife called the dr surgery to speak to a dr and was told a dr will call regarding pregnancy After all day waiting she finally got a call to hear from the dr that pregnancy is not a illness and to basically pull herself together A week later we expected a call and never received a call after we tried all day to contact to ask when should we expect a call and got no response Worse doctor and worse patient care ever!!!

Where to start with this awful surgery. Receptionists are rude even though they are being paid to do a job, they act like they are doing you a favour by even answering the phone (when you can eventually get through) takes about 40 mins just to get through to someone. Then when you do they dont even call you for your appointment and "FORGET" even when its just as simple and talking to the doctors to get a prescription sent to the pharmacy. Just a bunch of lazy workers stealing a living.

Used to be a excellent GP practice when Dr Gupta and Dr Durgham Sally and Sue the nurses were there as well as the receptionist team now it is absolutely the worst can’t use patient access for anything can’t get a doctor to talk to always a Advanced medical nurse practitioner can’t get a face to face lucky if you can get through that day. I would love to know where the whole team went I would have followed them where ever they went. Trying to find a new GP.

My Partner has been with this surgery for 57 years and was always satisfied with the GP Dr Durgan & Dr Gupta. Unfortunately his experience with Dr Sophia has not been so good. She came across as very dismissive & rude. When he asked about blood tests he had a week ago, she didn't seem interested and said you will have to phone the surgery. He came away with a very negative view of the surgery and this doctor.

My partner had an appointment at Bishopsford Road surgery and I would just like to say thank you for the excellent care that she was given, From the professionalism to the care that the Doctors and Nurse gave to us. A big thank you goes to the Reception staff for all their care and quick and efficient way in which they dealt with us. Brilliant surgery I would highly recommend.

I have been with this surgery 28 years I have always been happy and got to know my go however since dr Durgan left it’s gone so badly down hill it’s unbelievable Late replete prescriptions not correct no face to face still time on phone terrible Receptionist rude don’t do what they say and have no care or compassion if only I could move house and get a decent dr

Gp surgery very rude with clients, you are booking phone call they call u for 10 seconds and dropping a call, when you call back they are rude and refusing to help saying oh you had call NOW but now GP with patient, even you booked a time slot! cant recommend at all if you have health problems you faster will end in EA than get help from GP!

Very hit and miss, almost impossible to get an appointment unless you’re happy to wait 3 weeks! Not enough admin staff, phones just ring, doctors only start work at 9am yet surgery opens at 8am. But, doctors very pleasant and helpful when you do finally get to see one although getting test results back is unlikely.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is a horrible GP, I have numerous emergency appointments where receptionist has confirmed a doctor will call me and the doctor never calls. It is an unsafe doctor surgery- they have misdiagnosed and mistreated my children on a number of occasions. Stay away from this surgery

Don't register with this practice, and move away to another GP if you can! All the staff seem to be friends/family which is why they don't take your complaints seriously, they refused to see me several times which led to my leg getting infected and needing operation, this is clinical negligence by this GP

Newly registered with this surgery. Was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but it was the most convenient for me. I cannot fault them at all. I have complex health issues and so far I have received excellent care. Everybody I’ve had dealings with have been kind and understanding.

My daughter who is a year old does not like this place lol had her vaccination there since then she cries non stop while we are there but the gp has been very good on the occasions we have been there the facilities are very basic compared with GP's we have used before but it is nhs

Have been at the surgery for years. Went yesterday for a routine appointment. The 2 reception ladies were very polite and welcoming. I was seen dead on time with nurse Lucille. What a lovely lady! She was very smiley and chatty and made me feel at ease. Overall good experience. :)

Have had a good experience thus far with this surgery. Have been able to get appointments for my wife, kids for their check-ups etc. Every time I've called I managed to speak to someone on the first or second try. Just wanted to put a positive review up here for a change.

Far better than my last gp, appointments are easier to get and the staff more caring. Two weeks for a non urgent appointment is ok. If urgent then I can get an appointment same day. It feels like gps used to be they know you and your problems and genuinely want to help

Receptionist are fantastic. I would also like to give a special mention to Tracy, she has been extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me. I felt I was in good hands which calmed me down and have full trust in her. I recommend this surgery.

Weekly Perscription not at the chemist again receptionist so rude put the phone down on me she did not like the fact that she was wrong and blamed the pharmacy. Even though it was not the pharmacies fault. No real care given to patients at all

Used to be fantastic, when Dr Durgam was there. Tried to get through 90 times one day, just engaged all the time. Seem to be fobbing everyone off with a Nurse Practitioner now rather than speaking to a GP.

Such an amazing surgery! Was able to get my covid jabs quickly and with no problems. They always answer the phones, and are helpful and kind. The surgery is kept clean and follow guidelines to a T.

Incompetent staff. The phone is always busy. They don't know who is supposed to have the results of the check ups done at the hospital. It's impossible to get an appointment with them.

Very poor service. I had an appointment at 5.30 which was delayed until 7pm. There was no contact from the gp to confirm the appointment. I will be changing my GP.

Excellent surgery. Polite, helpful reception staff. The nurses and HCA are fab! The GP’s are excellent, they do listen to you and go over the options with you.
