"Nice park"
It's a pretty nice park. There is a baseball diamond, tennis court, play structure, swings, a climbing contraption and a wadding pool. I went with my seven month old daughter on a Tuesday morning. We found a shady spot in the grass for her to crawl around. The grass was a little dry but it was nicely kept - not as many leaves and sticks as some nearby parks. It was pretty quiet - only one other family came by with their kids while we were there. The wadding pool was closed. The hours posted were wrong. The hours from the City of Ottawa website might be more accurate: Mon 11-6, Tues closed, Wed 12-7, Thurs 12-7, Fri 11-6, Sat 12-5, Sun 12-5.

Dog-friendliness
Yes it is dog friendly!
Picnic area
Lots of area to picnic!
There is a large play area on one side, and a large field with a baseball diamond on the other. It has also recently been cleaned up and should still be very clean.
Playground
There is quite a large play area on one side of the park.
Picnic area
There are picnic tables beside a brick structure, the purpose of this structure is unknown to me, perhaps event preparations.
Quiet little park with kids wading pool in Lowertown. Dalhousie and Cathcart New Metal Sculptors Surrounds park. Picnic Tables, Baseball Diamond. In winter Public skating Rink. Just a couple blocks from the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital with parking and the National Gallery of Canada, Royal Canadian Mint and the Pluralism Centre on Sussex Drive. Surrounded by a number of Embassies.
Nice park. There is a wading pool tennis court and play structure. I was there to play tennis and it was fine. The courts isn't in perfect condition but certainly good enough for free. It's recommended to keep it to 30 minutes if others are waiting but I rarely see people play there.
Great park with a big baseball spot, a tennis court, couple of bench to relax and a pool/playground for kids and family. Easy parking and sweet place to come walk around.
Nice park. There are many signs indicating that this park does not allow dogs, do not bring your dog. Use the trash bins, no need to litter.
Great little park with a sand playground with a slide structure and wood chip climbing structure. There is also a wading pool here as well.
My kids had so much fun playing at the playground, and we enjoyed a nice picnic at the tables while enjoying the beautiful weather. …
It's nice to have a park in the neighborhood that caters to sports. This seems to be an area of it being under construction for a while.
Small, but with playground and kids pool. Some local citizens try to walk with their fighting dogs here. Offleashed. On the playground.
Large wading pool, new play structures and bathrooms! Bonus points for being fenced In, especially since it's next to a busy street.
Nice little park with a small pool, big kids playground, baseball diamond and hockey rink in the winter. Always well maintained.
Nice little play structure for kids, a swimming pool and tennis court. Wish they allowed dogs!
C'est cool pour que les enfants s'amusent. C'est possible de se poser pour les adultes.
Toujours un plaisirs pour les jeunes. Un parc amusant et la pataugeoires.
