They don’t want to do the work that it takes to slightly discipline a child. My nephew went here and the moment things got slightly hard for him behavior wise they threw in the towel and gave up and dis-enrolled him. Because they lack training and they lack drive to do the hard work. Completely and utterly unprofessional after my nephew was there for 3 years. I am just disgusted by their behavior. I am disgusted by a institution that claims to value education and claims they have trained professionals and yet don’t use those skills to help their students. They don’t even give the parents any heads up and have meetings to really discuss if things have gotten bad. They just say is too difficult the kid has to go. What kind of educational institution does this? Truly pathetic. UPDATE to the response below: As you can see the unprofessionalism below, where they continue to BLAME, fault, shame and demonized a CHILD (not over the age of 4), who is still developing and they choose to go into details. As oppose to take responsibility and admit that they their teacher are NOT trained to deal with even mildly behavior issues. They are not TRAINED to truly take the actions they state about in their handbook, which they didn't follow with my nephew. Don't only take my word, as you can see by ANOTHER parent's review on this forum that echo the same sentiment. They BLAME the child because they don't want to put in the hard work. Your institution should take a hard look at yourself and truly be honest about these NUMEROUS (lies) conferences you say you had with the parent. You NEVER did what was necessary to truly express the difficulties you were apparently having, why not bring in a professional like your handbook states? I will tell you why, BECAUSE you don't want to put in the HARD work that takes to train and admit that you need more resources. And this is how you treat a family was with them for 3 years, worry for any other family that has been there a long time, the moment your child has a hard time.

Glorified daycare. ATTENTION if your child has any learning disability or the slightest behavioral issues don’t let these people con you into wasting your time and money. They preach that they send their “teachers” to train with a doctor who trains them in conscious discipline. It’s a load of BS, I was upfront about my daughters speech therapy and ADHD tendencies and when she acted out they blame the child and not their lack of discipline or attention. They are only supposed to have 11 kids to a teacher according to Texas law, when I questioned the director about this after reviewing a video of my daughter throwing a tantrum I noticed no teacher was paying attention to her or correcting her behavior. The director claims they don’t have time to stop and correct her because they have too many kids. She 1st said they had 18 to a teacher then lied and said 15 to cover her tracks. I’m am disgusted and disappointed with the lack of care and effort from this facility. My daughter was only at the center for a short time, every time I would pick her up she was dirty and had a bruise on her back she said was from a school. My daughter was so excited to start school but she soon cried about not wanting to go to this center every morning. Save your money and find a school that actually cares instead of packing as many kids as possible during a pandemic to get as much money as possible. I will be reporting them to the licensing board.

My daughter is in her 2nd year at BCA. Throughout the time my daughter has been a part of the BCA Family I can truly say that the Teachers and Staff at BCA care passionately about the students at this school. The attention my daughter receives and the amount of Spanish she has learned has reinforced this. My daughter also loves the food made by Ms. Moni and often tells us how yummy her lunch was that day. When looking for preschools I knew I wanted a place that could help my daughter learn Spanish, but also a school where she was cared for and nurtured like the unique child she is, BCA provides this and so much more. One of the prior reviews talks about allowing students to attend who have not been vaccinated. It is very important to me that this school only take children who are vaccinated in accordance with the AAP Immunization Schedule. I plan on sending my younger daughter to BCA when she turns 3, and should there be unvaccinated children at this center, I would reconsider my decision.

This is a school that I do not recommend to anyone, the children are not well treated and discriminated against as happened to mine, the children are punished and come home with blows and illnesses like a lot of colds always, ask why they took away the parents they see their children on camera, they don't want to do their job, if you don't want your child to feel bad, don't take him to this school. another thing that I forgot in this school they are very good at responding to any complaint from parents with justifications that the children are the bad guys, I challenge them to put back the cameras that the parents could see what their children were doing in real time so that they can see that the problem is with the teachers and directors of the school, not with the children, so do not make any more lies, making the good ones, and put on the cameras that were removed due to the problems that the school had, which showed that it is not a good school

I made the decision to find a school that follows the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines with respect to vaccines. And BCA is one of those schools. While I am not against parents who choose to not vaccinate, I am against parents who get angry with the ones who do vaccinate. It is very unfair to BCA to report them because they don't accept non vaccinated kids. Pediatrician offices have the right to deny their services to antivaxers, and many of them right here in Stone Oak do just that. Are you going to report all of them too? No, you are going to find a Pediatric office that accepts non vaccinated kids. You have choices too. BCA has my support any and every day. They are an awesome bilingual school and after 1.5 yrs, I have a bilingual child who loves to go to school everyday and gets upset when I pick her up too early. Teachers are fantastic. Meals are healthy. The kids are happy.

Alberto and I thank you so much and no words can show our upmost appreciation for everything the BCA family has been able to give us. Each and every teacher had the most beautiful hearts with a passion for teaching! Sending our daughter to daycare was a difficult decision for us at first but the motor, language, and interpersonal skills that she gained were unmatched! The clean environment and nutrition that was provided kept her healthy, strong, and growing. The LOVE that she received from everyone made us feel like we were not just sending her to a "daycare" but a place that she could call a second home. BCA has been our home for the past two and a half years and the transition will be a difficult one for us. You all have become family and you will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Our daughter has been attending Bilingual Child Academy for two months and we are very happy with the staff, food, cleanliness, and overall warmth of the daycare environment. Also, and equally important we feel she is receiving a great education and improving in her Spanish language skills. I also appreciate the daycares stance and right to require children be vaccinated for admission. Even though we chose to do a delayed vaccination schedule for our daughter (she received all her vaccinations long ago), we would respect the daycare policy (which I assume they have to protect the aggregate of kids attending) if it was different than our beliefs. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication your caring Team provides so many children!

DO NOT Take your kids here… My son got expelled ( a 3 years old) after I complained about how a teacher pulled up from her arm little black 3 year old, hard enough to lift her the ground. The kid doesn’t need to be mine for me to speak up. CAREFUL, even though they have cameras, a working schedule does not allow us to be on the watch all the time. I’m grateful my kid is not there anymore but it worries me that places like this are open. They said my kid didn’t follow rules 3 days after I complained about the incident. I think as parents we must speak up for our kids and deeply hope that kids there can use words and explain what’s being done to them.

We love BCA! Out daughter has been attending BCA in Stone Oak for going on three years and our baby recently started as well. It really feels like a little family there. The staff truly enjoy and take pride in the work they do. They are attentive, responsive, and following best practice in terms of childcare and early childhood education. (I am a child psychologist, so I am a bit of a tough crowd!). I am so grateful we found BCA for the community, education, and safe, high quality care it provides to our children... not to mention that they will be BILINGUAL, a gift for life!

My son loves it here. Sometimes when we are at home on a non-workday he asks to go "home" or "to big house" which is what he calls the daycare. The staff is very friendly and he is learning SO MUCH from them! They have helped reinforce everything from Spanish language skills to learning to walk and eat correctly and even potty training! The only issue I am having at this point is that sometimes when he is having a lot of fun there he doesn't want to leave to come home at the end of the day!

What isn't to like about the Bilingual Child Academy?! I started taking my first child right at 12 weeks old, and the staff made the transition so easy. While following all the new COVID protocols, the teachers have maintained constant communication with us on our child's needs and, even behind the masks, you can always see a big smile on everyone's face. Our second child is on the way, and we cannot wait for her to be as well loved on and taken care of by this wonderful group!

This is a wonderful bilingual preschool with loving and caring staff and teachers! BCA is a welcoming, nurturing school for children to learn and play. I feel that staff and teachers truly love, care, teach and encourage the children to learn, play and grow. Our son LOVES going to school, he loves his teachers and friends and he has learned a lot in the two years he's been attending. We feel incredibly lucky to have found it and we highly recommend it!

  • Erwin Flores

We had our oldest son here for 2 years and now my younger daughter is attending as well. We just love the school and they way our kids and us have been treated since they one. I can tell they are very professionals and they are really passionate about their job....take care of our children. To me that is the most important thing, to feel secure that my little treasures are in good hands. BCA does a really good job at this. Thank you.

Excelente escuela!

my daughter was enrolled in this school and had mutiple bad experiences. 1. theire customer service was not up to par. 2.office manager makes you feel as if theyre doing YOU a favor. 3.nutrition is poor. They serve food according to their nutritionist. 4.teachers are not certified. 5.overall for the price you pay, you are not getting the service one would expect. I would recommend to look elsewhere.

  • Joseph Lopez

I attempted to enroll my daughter at this school due to having a great experience previously. They denied my 2nd child due to our reason of conscience exemption for vaccines. I recently discovered since they are licensed by TDFPS they should have allowed my child to be enrolled. They should know their policy and requirements. I love BCA Stone Oak! My daughter has been going to the school for a year and a half and she loves it! She has learned so much. The staff is really nice and lovely, specially Ms Ofelia. My daughter always has nice things to say about her teachers Ms.Leticia and Ms.Alma.The school always have fun activities for the kids. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her first school!

  • Jenel Ramos

Both my children have attended BCA. The center places a high priority on child safety and as a concerned parent this is very important for me. I trust licensing will understand the high value I place on child safety and that it is a priority for me when choosing a center for my child to enroll in. Thank you, BCA for journeying with two of my children in the last four years!

  • Carlos Mil

Excellent daycare and learning environment. Teachers help students with homework, treat them very kindly and actually do activities with them. The school bus drops of my kids at the daycare and they wait for the bus so that the kids can enter the daycare safely. Very, very happy to have them as an alternative, after trying several daycares around the Stone Oak area.

We love BCA & the whole staff. My daughter was here for 2 years & this place taught my daughter so much. It also made me at ease not having to worry because staff was always so kind & caring towards my daughter & kept me informed through their app. The only reason my daughter isn't there anymore is because we are relocating. I would recommend to other parents.

My daughter has been going here for years, and we have had a great experience. It's a great school with a great curriculum. I tried to keep her home for Thanksgiving week and she begged to go to school to see her teachers and friends. Her spanish is also great. Ignore the bad reviews. You can't please everyone, clearly.

  • Nicole Herrick

My kids love it here and are treated with kidness love and respect. My daughter is a picky eater and has done so well eating the food they provide. I love seeing all the picture on their app and feel like I know what my kids are learning each day. I highly recommend it here! Learning Spanish is also a bonus.

Recently moved to the area and we were so excited to see BLA so close to our house. Out little guy has been attending for about 3 months and as non-native speakers we are amazed at his ability to pick up a new language. The teachers and especially the director are so helpful, caring and overall great!

  • James Johnston

Dual language Spanish and English pre school. Our son went 2 years and seemed to enjoy and look forward to his time here. He was excepted into the regular school system dual language program and was well prepared. Staff generally friendly and we felt they did care for how the kids did.

  • Rubi Marquez

My almost 3yo is enrolled at BCA and he loves it! He really enjoys spending time there! Also, miss Melissa and miss Dalia really helped us with potty training, and my son is finally done with diapers!! The teachers are so caring! I Definitely recommend BCA!!!

  • Catherine Malcolm

The director and her staff are loving and truly care about the children. The education children receive is stellar and even if they don't speak Spanish at home you would be amazed at what they learn in both languages in a short amount of time!

  • Sally Saez

This place has very bad teacher turn over while my child was there. They also have no or very limited emotional intelligence. If you can't afford the other mores expensive spanish school then this is probably the lowest on the rankings.

  • Mariela Ochoa

Great, amazing experience with BCA. The kids learn very quickly and the teachers, staff and environment are commendable. They do a truly amazing job with our kids. My daughter wakes up every day wanting to go to BCA!!!

  • Miriam M

To help parents out, this daycare does not accept pre k after school care even if the student gets out of school at 2:55 like the rest.

  • Nikolette Roque

Our experience here was not positive . Lasted 3 weeks - my child was not given the opportunity to adapt unfortunately.
