I have visited this store many times. They have always been efficient, professional and polite with good prices. But I must say, when I have been in trouble they really excel. When the dropper post was broken and was stuck in the frame and we had planned an epic ride at the You Yang's the next day. James managed to get the post out and refit another one. Even though he had to stay late after work to finish the job off. He did it with the greatest smile. He fixed the bike so we could have the best ride, the very next day. This is what I call service above and beyond............................................... I must say I wholeheartedly recommend Mornington Bicycle Superstore. They have saved me numerous times. I bought a new bike in December 2020. The staff were very helpful and obliging. I was served by Max and he was excellent at working out possible options, getting the bike that fitted me properly and then as a few adjustments and add ons were needed he was really excellent at fixing these aspects really quickly and efficiently. I had 25 year old mountain bike and so had to phone back to understand how to pump the tyres on the new bike :) and Alex was so helpful over the phone. I would also like to say what exceptional follow up customer service and assistance I have received from Anne at this store, she is really patient and helpful with great product knowledge, she really goes the extra mile.

Terrible customer service. My son had a popped Tyre and he called in on his way home to ask about fixing. The guy said yep see your parents and drop it back anytime. We just went to drop the bike off for fixing service etc. called as requested on the door to be told quite rudely by a female store worker that no it had to be booked in by appointment and they couldn’t possibly take it today!! Bloody ridiculous.Took it down the road to the bicycle company, lovely man took the bike, no appointment needed. Happy to give them our business from now on

Great shop and great staff who know their products and don't try to sell you what you don't need. I'll keep shopping here no worries at all. These whiners below are ridiculous, do you even know what goes into keeping a bike maintained? If you think it's not brain surgery why aren't you doing it yourself? And for the person complaining the branded helmet is too expensive, do you really think this is something that makes a bad business? Not selling no name branded crap? Good on ya.

I bought a Giant cross city bike here earlier in the year and was very happy with the service I received. The 'complimentary' follow up service was also done well and within the day. More importantly, a couple of weeks afterwards, I noticed the gear changing had deteriorated. I took the bike back in and Justin was quick to offer to check it; he then pointed out I had bent the derailleur. He rectified the problem with no charge and this is why I will be a return customer. Thanks!

Poor customer service and communication. Sold me a bike with a modification that couldnt be done on that model. Instead of calling me to advise that they told me when l made the trip to pick up the bike and expected me to still purchase it. I swapped to a different bike and then waited for much longer than the 10 mins l was told it would take. Wish l had gone elsewhere, probably would have got the same deal and much better service.

Very good recent purchase experience for a bike trailer with this store. Easy purchase online and when my wife went to pick it up she called from out front and said our baby had fallen asleep in the car and they were happy to bring it out and put it in the boot. When I spoke to team members on the phone they were also really nice. Appreciate the extra customer service a lot, will be returning for future shopping because of it.

I messed up my gear cables and they needed replacing, I willbrought my bike in at 9 in the morning, and they had it fixed by 10 with no appointment. They have a nice range of bike equipment and accessories in store, I picked up a set of lights and got a $10 discount when I asked for there best price on them. Highly recommend giant Mornington, my gears are running like a dream after they fixed them 10/10 service.

I took my 2017 Scott Spark 940 into the Mornington BSS for its 2nd service....I'd been hard on Sparky despite my old spudsack riding style. But I gotta give some applause to Phil, who clealry knows his grease monkey ways. He threw some mechanics love at the bike with attention to detail, and he even got parts sorted pronto so I could climb back aboard ASAP. Thanks Phil and BSS, much appreciated.

Female sales person rude and dismissive when I pointed out that I'd been charged by them twice the price I would've paid for original cable set on line. If that's what you offer in the form of "service" then I'll take my business elsewhere. I hope you're not too shocked when you discover a declining customer base in favour of online sales, without the poor sales skills.

Got a quote to repair puncture for $20. After repair was told its $30 as my type of bike takes longer to repair. Was told they could remove new tube if I like. Appalling service! Don't mind paying what I'm quoted but unprofessional and a rip off to up price after service and without notice. Plenty of other reputable businesses around and I'll be using them from now on.

Thanks to James and Hugh for helping with today's purchase (Thule Ride along) both were extremely helpful and attentive. It was the last model in the Dark Grey colour and was missing bolts and keys. The guys were able to locate some spare parts and complete the package. Thanks for going above and beyond, much appreciated and keep up the great customer service!

I ordered an adult trike online, imagining It would be no problem to assemble, but just short of hubby and I having a heart attack over it, the fellows at the Superstore took over and for a very minimal cost, I’m flying like a bird on my trike. Ordered girls bike 10 days ago as present. Click and collect advises available within 1-2 days. Have followed up with superstore enquiries email who inform me store would contact me ASAP with an ETA for collection. Am yet to hear anything. Very poor customer service. Will be lodging report to ACCC regarding selling products you clearly don't have.

Thanks to Mike for his excellent advice when selecting a bike for my 12 year old daughter. His advice regarding the appropriate weight and size of the bike was very helpful in making our final decision. I am very happy with the bike we purchased from Bicycle Superstore. Would highly recommend Mike if you need any bike advice, especially for kids.

Recently tried these guys after they gave great service to a friend of mine with a damaged wheel. I decided to try them after a less than enthusiastic response from another dealer when I tried to buy a 5k Trance! Justin and Anne in particular were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I will be back and will recommend them highly.

Poor service. Needed new pedals for my Giant hybrid and deciding to get a pannier rack at the same time. Called in on Monday. Couldn't possibly do it until Friday. Dropped it in Thursday afternoon, told they would text me Friday morning when it was completed. Never received a text. Charged $25 for fitting.

Prices are good but the attitude is bad. Such a shame as there is a lovely lady there that is amazing at her job. I will never walk in the door again. Mornington Cycles is just around the corner. Prices might be slightly higher but service is impeccable. Really disappointed

Trough all the changes in management and ownership, one thing has remained true, that being that their manager Justin delivers good customer service and at a great price. I won't trust my bike with anyone else and haven't now for the last 7 years.

Went here back in September. Stock was understandably low, post Covid lockdowns and pre-Christmas. Regardless, Alex was very helpful and informative. Would definitely go back. Have also had repairs done here in the past. Always happy with service.

Poor mechanical service. Had a tyre/tube replaced. Tyre wasn't beaded properly resulting in a lump/bump in wheel. Am not surprised considering the three teenage employees were lacking in customer service.
