Valet parking was nice and convenient. Atmosphere was elegant and upscale. However the food was a let down. Pork ribs were very hard to chew and lacking flavor. The foie gras spring rolls were greasy and gamey. Moo shu pork was too sweet and not authentic at all. The drinks were nice as they have imported Chinese beers and liquors. More

Tried this place today and so happy with our decision. The food and the service were excellent. Cedric our waiter guided us through the menu and made some yummy suggestions, since it was our first time and everything we tried was unbelievable. I highly recommend to try it. More

Decor excellence wish the food would have matched first timer diners from Katy second restaurant under this umbrella that was disappointing (BB Lemon) general chicken fried extra hard & dry. A little less batter on this chicken would help. Appetizers were good More

The food and service here were both TOP TIER. Our waitress name was Zoe, I was extremely impressed with how well versed she was with the menu. There was no dish we inquired about that she didn’t provide detail to. I definitely recommend the

Had dinner here for date night. I ordered the General Tso half chicken. It was delicious, and had really crispy breading even though it was covered in sauce. The orange beef my husband had was sweet and had real citrus flavor. For drinks I

Visited Benny Chows for the first time last week and was surprisingly disappointed. Let me start with the good- the atmosphere was good, the decor is lovely and over in appearance is beautiful. Our waiter was very nice as well. Where I was

WOW! I went with a friend and it was truly AMAZING. The service was impeccable, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was excellent. We had the Crispy Garlic Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice, Dry Sauteed Garlic String

While I make very few comments or postings regarding dining establishments, Benny Chows was an absolute dining experience. The food and service was excellent, the waiter and the managers attention to detail and service could not have been

My husband and I went for our early anniversary dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious! Our server, Pauline, was so kind and all of her recommendations were on point. The manager, Eduardo, was fantastic and made sure we enjoyed every

After the onslaught of Szechwan restaurants that have opened in Houston over the past few years, I was very excited to try this new Chinese restaurant. It is considerably pricier than other Chinese restaurants but the atmosphere feels fun

I was initially quite excited for Benny Chows, but our visit left a lot to be desired. The food was generally under seasoned and overly oily. The dishes lacked the flavor and punch that you would expect from their descriptions. Worse than

The ambiance is really nice for a date night or a girl’s night- but the food did not live up to the expectation. Most of it is really bland (total opposite of Asian flavors) and it’s unfortunate that such a nice place only has 1 good app.

If you order cocktails with dinner, for sure, do it here. Great drinks. Just the right amount of alcohol, my large table loved all the food and drinks. The matcha dessert was creamy and delicious, and the right thing to eat after the meal

Recently enjoyed a great meal at Benny Chows on Washington Ave, right next to B&B Butchers (the two share the same valet service). The restaurant exudes a tasteful elegance, with deep red silk wall fabric juxtaposed against black seating

Joined a birthday event. Ambiance is lovely. Shocked by the sizing of the establishment great job. My disappointment was being told I was not allowed a birthday cake when I made a reservation a few weeks prior. I was told I would only be

We were at this restaurant for a family lunch. Food was fine. The Mochis were the least favourite. Staff at the front was in a foul mood. A little dark inside. Service was ok. Restroom was clean. We were not thrilled with the experience.

Place is beautiful with good atmosphere. The food options are plenty and they were all good. The cantonese duck was good. Prices are on the high side so we were prepared however the service is slow from the kitchen and the bar. We stayed

We took my parents here for our mom’s birthday and we were lucky that it was also Houston Restaurant Week! Definitely make a reservation if you don’t want to wait. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was very instagramable! Their

This place is gorgeous and the food is great. We’ve been looking for a good chinese restaurant in the loop and finally found one. Obsessed with the scallion pancakes. I had beef and broccoli and it was divine. We were recommended this

I had a great time while eating here. They have the best Seabass and scallion pancakes in town. Eduardo went beyond and above to provide me the best service and experience. I will definitely recommend others and come back again! More

#JoeFoodTour this restaurant recently opened about three weeks ago. Very impressive and incredible picture were the moments. Do not be confused by the black windows. The main entrance is off Washington right next-door to Chinese

Have you ever noticed how every SM influencer raves about "EVERY PLACE" they review and post. This restaurant is a classic example of how fake those reviews are! I "had" high expectations for this restaurant.

The decor in this restaurant is immaculate. It's very rich, modern and chic. The service was impeccable. Valet parking is available at B&B Butchers or you can park on the side street.

We had a great experience, with awesome food, and a great ambiance. Cedrick took great care of us- he was really polite, and made sure was never too far away, or gone too long. More

This is such a beautiful restaurant. I tried it with my friend for HRW. It is a little pricy, but the servings were pretty generous! I took some home for lunch the next day.

What a fantastic dinner! We are at Benny Chow’s on their second night of being open and it was a wonderful experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all fantastic.

Food, service and drinks were all A1. We went for our anniversary dinner. Our server Zoe made sure the night was special. Will DEFINITELY return. Highly recommended! More

One of the best new restaurants I’ve been to in Houston. We got a few appetizers to try (crab Rangoon, shrimp dumplings and pork egg rolls) all 3 were amazing.

  • Rob F

First off the interior design is impeccable. One of the coolest looking restaurants I’ve seen by far. Service was friendly and cocktails well made.

I found that there were a few dishes that were hit or miss. The soup dumplings lack any taste whatsoever. In terms of the brisket eggs
