So, I write this as I sit here, waiting to be helped, and I was just here a couple day ago for the same reason, to cash my check, because it’s issued by BofA. I’ve already been told I can’t open an account with them, and I’m fine with that, that part isn’t the reason I am writing this. I am writing this due to the fact that I have to wait for over an hour, no matter what kind of crowd is ahead of me, because just to cash my employers check, which is issued through BofA, (i assumed that would be the route with the least hassle other then cashing at a bank that I have an account at, which currently is not an option available to me) but no. They require me to speak to one of their accounts specialists, or whatever the teller called them, even though I am not trying to open an account And I told this to the teller, and she tells me if I am going to cash my check with them, without an account I will have to speaks with them EVERY TIME. As if I have hours throughout my day that I can afford to waste by sitting around and twiddling my thumbs up my butt. But judging by how often their e Employees just chit chat with customers, I can see that they obviously feel that they do have that extra time ( and there’s nothing wrong with customer service but when you’ve got several customers still waiting to be helped, and you’re gossip exceeds 30 minutes, it’s gone way past customer service and gone into reach around territory, and if they would have led with the reach around they’d of been done much earlier, and quite possibly earned a tip, at minimum, a load).
I felt unwelcomed when I entered to this location. Note that I just went to ask for information regarding how to open an account and if I can receive money from Mexico and the answers were simple, "We can't just open an account for you to receive the money," "any bank here in the USA can receive wire deposits." "You can find a company that can do that for you" and "you need from $400 to $500 to open an account" which I found out online that says that their minimum opening account can be with $100. Also, the wire deposit or transfer from Mexico will be monthly because I have a property that is being rented in that country. Plus, they are very unprofessional because the banker was standing there in the lobby talking to me, why not seating with that future customer like myself for more formal talking. The main reason I came to this location is that people from my country have stated that Bank of America is affiliated with Scotiabank located in Mexico which I thought they would be some kind of a better transfer process of deposits. well, I will keep doing business with Wells Fargo, because at least they are more professional and don't judge you. I heard from family members and friends before that the way you dress that's the way they treat you in this bank, and sadly it's true.
Went in to get access to my deceased uncles finances and the Manger wouldn't sit down with me to see if I had the correct documentation immediately told me at the door that I didn't have the right papers and that I'd need to contact the county. Proceeded to kinda argue with me about it so I left went to a location 2 miles away and they immediately sat me down confirmed my documents and started a cashiers check for me that day. So sad that the MANAGER of a location would shy away from work just because they don't want to deal with it, I understand handling estates isn't easy but I really hope this Manager didn't make his way into that position by working like this.
I've had all my accounts at this BofA for years. Today I ask them to notarize my signature on court papers concerning a Will. The pregnant representative with the runny nose refused to notarize anything to do with a Will. I thought a notary is simply attesting to the fact that it is my signature...not the validity of the document itself (the Court will decide that). I will be moving every account I have away from BofA...all because of a notary. Update: drove down the street to the local UPS store who had no issue with notarizing my signature. Apparently BofA doesn't consider my business worth the $30 I paid for a notary.
How could BoA allow someone like this Crystal lady to represent their bank, she is a disgrace & awful person just miserable. If I could I'd give this place ZERO STARS! Horrible Horrible Experience. But actually thankful to have gone through this as I know now to NEVER EVER bank w/ this brand. Only reason I was there was to cash a BoA check I had. CRYSTAL the Manager is racist toward ANYONE not mexican. 1 teller open, line out the door. No class, just low educated disrespectful management. BoA should be ashamed hiring this type of manager.
Worst Bank of America I've ever been to, and unfortunately it's the closest to home. They frequently have a long line of 10-20 customers and only one teller helping them. Youd think they'd catch on and have a few more people on hand to help, but no. Every time I come here I inevitably leave irritated by the terrible customer service and long wait. What ever happened to treating the customer like they matter and having pride in doing your job well instead of just doing the bare minimum to get your paycheck?
Despite being 20-year member, authenticated with my PICTURE-ID debit card and PIN, and in possession of Arizona's official mobile ID drivers license, manager refused to accept my CASH deposit because I didn't have a "hard copy" of that license. They made me walk outside, into the heat, to step in line on foot in the drive-up ATM and use that instead to deposit the very same cash into the very same account. Idiotic.
The 2 teller's are amazing( Naiomi and Crystal)however the cocky "Manager" as he likes to tell anyone and everyone is not. 4-5 employees standing around and not 1 can say, "I'll pick up a window since there is 12 people in line". All MIKE THE MANAGER wants to do is brag about himself and push his opinions on people. Also I go to other banks and they all more than 1 teller.
Good location, usually don't have to go in, but today was unfortunate. After depositing my check directly into the ATM; I entered having some questions. Staff was rude, cutting me off, and still no solution nor money. Not all of them are bad. Once had to go in for a replacement card. The banker was awesome. Hoping when I go back tomorrow I see that guy.
Called a dozen numbers before I was able to get a person. All I was trying to do was pay my credit card bill online. Wesbite broken. App broken and didnt recognize that I even had a product. I'll make my payment on my only transaction on my card and I will close it out. Not worth the headache. Two hours wasted for trying to pay my bill.
1/17/2018 The bank itself is usually very slow. However I must say I was very impressed with Antonio Sida. I have been sick and due to illness I had difficulty in getting a payment in. He helped me with the situation and it was resolved. I am grateful, in and out, no problems. Thank you Antonio.
This bank helped me by ALOT, I started off small, no credit, no nothing. Now they are helping me get out of a car loan. They didn't have to help me explain how to get out of the car loan but they did because they wanted to help. Good location and bankers are willing to help.
I was trying to close my dads account at this location but after trying to reschedule my appointment for 4 days Anna basically told me they were too busy to help people here. I guess it’s good I have my personal accounts with banks that have time for me. Good luck!
The tellers are not very acomidating, I asked for 5 dollars in quarter's and she refused, told me that I can only get 10 dollars because of that's now they came. I told her never mind and drove to the branch that I know will treat me right!
I called prior to going in, in an attempt to save time. I spoke with Gerardo and asked him if they offered money orders or cashiers checks, which he acknowledged that they did. My follow up question was, how much, to which he answers no
You'll spend more time waiting in line, than you will interacting with the teller. The employees are helpful, but the wait is ridiculous. If you're in the area, save yourself some time and go to the BofA on 16th Street & Morten.
Every day of the week they have only one teller open even on Fridays. Also they never answer their phone. If you can't provide the services that we need at this location please just close it down.
Came in just to cash a check lady standing there told me I have to have it verified but that alone had me sitting there for 45 mins and they want me to open an account here ? Terrible .
Muy mal no tienen personal que pueda atender ay asta 12 personas en la línea y nomas una está atendiendo y los demás que están ahí nomas están viendo lo que pasa
Probably worst bank in arizona all ways long line and only one teller every time why there is 5 windows and one teller and people keep waking in
I went in yesterday to speak with somebody about the two disputes that I did not dispute and she said there was nothing she could do about it
Unfriendly. Unprofessional. Claimed not to have a single $100 bill in the entire branch. Don't go if you want courtesy or cash.
8 people in line 1 window open and 5 employees standing around doing nothing. This is like walmart
No employees at the drive thru tellers, just atm machines. Could use more employees inside.
slowest people in the world, common to wait an hour in line with one teller on a busy day
12 people in line with one teller asked for an extra teller and they denied rudely
Major renovation 5 - 17 - 17 till unknown time. Parking heavy to get into.
Always understaffed, even for B of As low standard. sBe prepared to wait.
Bad service they only have one person helping and really slow
Super lento, no hay personal y el que hay da muy mal servicio
Extremely slow one teller with employee's standing around.
Worst Bank ever !! Staff all the way up the corpret ladder
