UPDATE JAN 2022 Playground has been closed off. Swings still open. Awesome looking playground has been fenced off with no date noted for reopening. Overall the lake itself is beautiful - a large undercover picnic space with four separate tables, toilet, water fountain. Lots of nice natural play space and walking paths. Please put any litter in the bins! I reported rubbish and two scooters littered in the lake through Snap Send Solve.

Beautiful lake with lush green trees. One can calmly sit at a bench facing the lake and enjoy seeing the duck. If you have kids, the play area has been renovated recently and is absolutely loved by the kids. The walking trail is also long and lovely. I did spot a few people playing various sports as well.

The short walk around the lake is a good length for small children and grandparents alike. Nice to see some birdlife and sit on the green grass and have a picnic. There are tables and bbq facilities. When we went it was dissapointed because the park was fenced off in need of repairs. Looking forward to the park equipment being repaired because our family enjoy it there when we visit.

The ovals, gardens, bike track, and basketball half court all great, park play equipment under renovations, outdoor gym equipment new. Rarely have I seen the BBQ facilities used, but I imagine it would be a great place for a family picnic. Banjo Patterson Park, I'm sure will have a five-star review when the renovations are complete.

Beautiful spot for a family BBQ and catch up. Pity the playground was closed.. hopefully it’s getting an upgrade as I know they have been doing a lot of work around the walking paths etc. the playground is so popular, it’s a pity the work on it is getting done during summer when the kids want to use it.

Beautiful place to have lunch. There’s 4 large uncover picnic tables perfect for birthday parties or having a picnic with the family. The lake also has a public toilet, paths that go around the lake with bridges and has a large playground that is currently under construction. Lovely place to sit and watch the large variety of water birds.

What a serene place! We spent some Quality time there with our kids in the park and the reserve. They loved the aquatic life and the park. It could be better if they could put up a bit more places to sit down, may be in the shades of those beautiful trees.

I have come here a few times, always clean, always nice. Will definitely come back here again. Only reason I’ve given 4 stars is because the one time I did come here rubbish was everywhere, teenagers graffitied everywhere.

Pristine photoshoot location, lake filled with life, some workout equipment, and children's playground is under reconstruction. Good for long walks, family orientated. Car park space plentiful on school side although traffic peak hours and school times.

This place used to be great for a walk with kids and then they could have a play. Now NO playground and grass over over grown and rubbish everywhere including in the Lake. No point trying to fish as all you get is rubbish.

A very pleasant park and lake. It's full of ducks and other wild birds who are quite calm around people. There's a nice picnic area and shaded picnic tables for when the sun is overly harsh or when there's a brief shower. A good place for kids and bogs as well.

Great park with such lovely veiws if the lame. They are building a new playground so if you come here now you will only get very less equipment.

Sadly not what it used to be. The grass is sad and there is standing water everywhere. The playground is gated off, and the lake is very dirty

Excellent playground area along side the wetlands teaming with wildlife. Some spectacular remnant red gums here for the tree nerds

Lovely place for a quiet walk. Plenty of walking trails and dog tracks around the lake surrounded with greenery. Sit down on the benches and watch the birds and ducks swimming around - restful

Great picnic spot. Ducks are cute and we are not supposed to feed them. Scenic spot of photography in the evening. Some spaces are airy enough to fly kites. There's a basketball court too!

Nice place to walk or for kids to ride as had great bike track and jumps for little kids. Highly recommended, when we went construction was being carried out so some paths were shut

There are no washroom facilities. Washroom near ground. Was closed. It is very difficult for alders and senior citizens without washroom facilities.
