2022 September 4★ These steps take you up to the hill over to Castle Loma. It's probably nearly 100 steps or so and is a decent climb with a great view of the city. On spring and summer days, you'll find the blooming flowers along the steps. 2021 4★ Nice view of the city. If your in the area, there's casa loma and the spadina museum just north of the stairs. Nothing to see at the actual park. Good view point of the city from just north of the city on a clear day.
What to say about the Baldwin Steps? They are an awesome place to work out those leg muscles. They are also great to appreciate great views of Downtown Toronto without the vertigo of going up the CN Tower. It is also a historical site so you get both a cultural and sightseeing check mark in the same place. Once you reach the top you can gaze upon Casa Loma, so it is great to go up the steps before visiting the museum. Go now and wear comfortable shoes!
Great place which offers a lovely view of the skyline. Located right next to casa loma. There aren't many stairs to climb so even if you are not in the greatest of shape should not be an issue. And if you come from the casa loma entrance side you can get to the top of the stairs avoiding the climb altogether. According to the information ℹ️ sign everything below Baldwin Steps had been underwater during the last ice age.
In the mornings many use it to exercise. Breathing heavily not wearing masks. Disgusting to walk up the steps while others running up and down. Its a great spot to see the downtown skyline for photography. Its a winter wonderland in winter, breathtaking photos for photographers. In the summer beautiful flowers are planted. Its a beautiful spot climbing up to Casa Loma.
A beautiful view down Spadina avenue to Lake Ontario, with the downtown skyline above. Elaborate gardens flank the steps that zig-zag up the escapement alongside Casa Loma. In the narrow park at the top, you'll pass picnics, people-watchers, and exercisers huffing and puffing before they descend the steps to dash up again.
This is a nice place for a view of the CN tower and more of downtown. There are three bikesharing stations around this location, so it is pretty bikeable. You could have a small picnic there on the grass too or sit on the stairs. It is also quite calming to see cars and buses go by in the distance.
This was a good workout for my legs, and the view of downtown Toronto at the top of the stairs was well worth it. The surrounding area was pretty and pleasing to the eye. Plus, if you're a Scott Pilgrim fan then this is one of the many places to hit up, as it's where Scott "fought" Lucas Lee.
The steps are a great workout and once you reach the top you have an incredible view. At the top there’s also a water fountain. It’s a quick walk from the train and at the top is the Casa Loma castle. Beautiful landmark and good recommendation for a tourist close to public transportation.
Not as hard of a climb as you think, and an even easier and beautiful descent! My recommendation would be to walk up the side of casa Loma, around to the front, and then down the Baldwin steps.

Right by my apartment so I love going here for daily walks. Great spot for exercising or a good way to get to Casa Loma by walking. At the top and midway up the stairs is a beautiful view of the CN Tower. There's a small sitting area at the
I encountered this place while going to the Casa Loma and found it really beautiful. You will have a nice view of the downtown cityscape along with the CN Tower from here. In every level of the stairs you will find sitting area if you are
Gorgeous place to sit down for a session and see the city. You can see the city clear to the lake from the top of the steps. They are busy at times with people using them for running up and down, but it's well worth checking out. Take the
It’s a nice day out, you want to get away from the city just a bit and climb some stairs. I know that’s a very specific scenario, so you might not seek this place out. However, if you’re in the area to see Casa Loma or any of the other
Short stroll outside casa Loma, I try walking to Queens park from here but it’s a bit far - I enjoy an ice cream & outside view of museum, it’s worth to explore beautiful Toronto
nice little park with a great view of the city. Plus is you visit on Tuesday evenings during the summer you can hear the symphonies in the gardens from casa Loma for free.
Breathtaking view from up here! Worth the climb! And for all the pop culture nerds out there, Scott Pilgrim vs the World had the skating crash scene filmed here!
Good place for a mini exercise while enroute Casa Loma and take picture of the Toronto skyline.

Go up the steps to reach Spaldina Manor, free tours. Across the street will be Casa Loma. I was expecting more stairs so found it easy to do.
Very great spot if you want to go for a walk in quietude and enjoy the skyline. The stairs can be used for leg day workout routine as well.
Beautiful stairs in the city and right by Casa Loma. Great views from the tops and an awesome place to experience that "Rocky" moment.
Gr8 place to chill and relax each level has chairs u can rest on if u get tired. frequent people working out on the stairs for cardio

The view from here is so awesome!!! You can see the city from the top and a glimpse of the lake Ontario straight across a road.
After visiting Casa Loma, I go to this place. It is so relaxing and beautiful. It also a good place for people to do exercise.
Climb up the steps for an awesome view of the city. Morning to see the city wake up and evening for an illuminated one!
Nice little view point on Spadina Near Casa Loma Castle and great to spend some time and explore the Hill area.
Steps with a nice view of the city from the top. Good spot for some running located in a great neighbourhood.
Beautiful view and amazing picture opportunities. Watched a few brave souls running up and down the steps.
One of the best places in the city where you can have a nice photo with Toronto skyline background
The Baldwin steps isn’t too high up and the view of Toronto is very mediocre. Great workout place.
Great view of the downtown on a sunny day. Steps are cleared so very walkable in the winter.
Amazing city view and really cool Casa Loma on a side, awesome for picturesque selphies;)
The view was amazing. Worth going there
