I’m not one to give glowing reviews, I normally expect good service where I go, however I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Balboa Dental Group in Granada Hills. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in. I’m always a bit nervous as I go to the dentist, but they really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. It felt like they were actually happy to work there, which is something rare these days. The waiting room was so clean, which is always a good sign, but I didn’t have to wait long as they got me in pretty quickly. The patient room was also clean, and everything felt really new and updated, as you can see in the picture. They even had this state of the art machine for crowns, hadn’t seen anything like this at my old dental office. The dental hygienist was really nice and helpful as she prepped me for Dr Ekizian, who was just awesome! Dr. Ekizian patiently listened to my issue and explained everything she was about to do, which really alleviated my fears. She was very gentle and I didn’t feel like I was being poked, prodded or tugged at like previous dentists at other offices. I’m so glad I was referred to this friendly neighborhood dentist with all the latest amenities and I’d like to pay it forward by referring the Balboa Dental Group, in Granada Hills, to you.

From entering the office to my leaving it, was totally a professional experience. The front desk check in staff were extremely friendly and the check-in process was made easier by the use of iPads, rather than filling out several forms manually. Each step was made more efficient by the work of the dental assistant, that took x-rays, in a very timely manner. When the dentist, Dr. Ekizian, walked in she had everything at her fingertips. Dr. Ekizian assessed my dental issues quickly (and there were many) and set up a plan for me to take care of them. For a person who needs reassurance, Dr. Ekizian is the perfect person for me, because she explained everything thoroughly and was able to set up a step-by-step process to take care of me. I would highly recommend Balboa Dental Group to anyone that wanted professional, exceptional. personal care.

Dr. Aline Ekizian is literally the best dentist I have ever had. I appreciate her so much, she is knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable with the procedures that you don't even feel you are at a dentist. She really cares how you feel and she even found a issue I didn't know needed to be addressed because I thought it was taken care of from the past dentist I had. Literally I have been around the block with dentists and have seen of course all will be expensive and such but to have someone you can Trust is rare and someone that cares for your health that way is so hard to find ...if you are looking for a honest and caring dentist definitely Aline she will put you at ease!!!

The office staff and dental team are fantastic! Dr. Ekizian is amazing. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She explains things plainly so its easy to understand and always does so with the best bedside manner. She makes going to the dentist a pleasure. Monica is also amazing and hands down the best hygienist I've had. Just a note, there are other hygienists at the office and they are great too but my family has been in the care of Dr. Ekizian and Monica specifically for many years. Overall, Balboa Dental Group exceeds my expectations and it is mainly due to the individuals who take care of me and my family, from front desk to dental chair. Thanks a bunch!

I had not been to a dentist in YEARS. When I finally came for my appointment, I questioned why I hadn't come sooner. Everyone is so nice here. From the staff at the front counter, to the dental assistant, & especially the dentists. My dentist made me feel so comfortable & at ease. She addressed all my concerns so graciously. & the best part? I had no cavities or any other issues. This will be the first time I have ever remained on top of my dentist appointments, & coming routinely. All because of my experience here with the whole staff! I've been recommending this facility to all my friends & family since coming here :)

I always have a positive experience with Dr. Ekizian! During today’s visit I had to get a couple of fillings replaced and was very nervous. I was reminded again of what a gift she has for putting people at ease and making dental procedures bearable. I cannot express how much I appreciate her and thank God for her. I have always dreaded dental procedures, but I know I can completely trust her and know that she genuinely cares about me, my husband and my boys. I’ve been a patient of Balboa dental group for couple of years now, every time I visit I get the best treatment. Dr. Ekizian and her staff are amazing. I had tooth soreness during pregnancy , Dr. Ekizian advised to wait & do the major dental work after pregnancy , I’m glad that she suggested to wait and didn’t do unnecessary X-rays or dental work just to charge my insurance . Also, their dental hygienist ( Sioneh ) is amazing. She does a great job every time I go, she is very detail oriented and takes her time to clean my teeth. Overall , I’m happy with them and & I suggest u to visit :)

I have been coming to this office for the past 2 years. I feel very well taken care of. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Most don’t like going to the dentist, but Balboa Dental makes it a very comfortable environment to be in. Dr Ekizian is a true professional and is very resourceful, I have had plenty of dental problems. She’s taken great care of me, I’m glad I found her when I did. I’d recommend this office to friends and family; this is my go to office for all my dental needs.

I was a patient at this office for a long time until recently when I discovered the staff was not doing legit business with my insurance. They did not get preauthorization from my insurance And they were double charging me for something they were not supposed to. I urge everyone to make sure of what and how much you are covered for when it comes to items like crowns, night guard, etc... They were trying to get some pocket change from me and I caught them. PLEASE BEWARE!!!

Wonderful experience! The dental assistant who took my X-rays was very sweet and gentle. Dr. Ekizian is the best! Very friendly and I didn’t feel like she was rushing through anything. She explained everything she was doing which put any nerves I had at ease. She took her time doing my cleaning and the other dental assistant who came in to polish my teeth was also very gentle and nice. Now I’m not going to be nervous at all for my next visit :-)

Dr. Ekizian is the best dentist we know! Our whole family visits her, including our 8 year old child. We all truly love our dental visits with her! She is very kind, gentle, patient, and knowledgeable. She explains what’s going on as she does the checkup so you know exactly what to expect. She is always ready to answer questions and is fair and honest with everything. The staff in the front desk is also very kind and accommodating.

I love this dental office. I had not been here since 2019 and the doctor remembered me. The doctors and staff are very pleasant and courteous. I really like that they explain to you in detail what services they will do and if any out of pocket payments need to be made and how much. I trust this dental office wholeheartedly.

Friendly, professional, and simply just amazing. All the staff from the Dentist, dental hygienists to the administration staff. Alway happy to recommend Balboa Dental. I am very very picky about dentist, had a lot of work done as a child/teen, and to say these guys know how to treat patients is an understatement.
