Me and my boyfriend stayed in Dubrovnik September 2017, and were so happy we found this little bakery just outside of the Old Town gates! It served amazingly delicious pastry treats, great for a naughty breakfast. So cheap and fresh, we came every morning for breakfast which was always the equivalent to less than £2! We were travelling on a budget so can't fault that, all the other bakeries around Dubrovnik had nothing on this! Taste or price. Their sandwiches are great too for taking on daytrips. Our favourite was the stahp cokolada - something spelt like that - like a chocolate nutty sausage roll looking thing. Soooooo good!! Always busy - clearly a favourite, must go there!

Voici quelques raisons: À 9h, rupture de stock d’à peu près toutes les viennoiseries et impossible de savoir s’il en aura d’âtres de produites. Service rude et peu aidant (ne maîtrisant pas le croate au delà de bonjour et merci, les locaux passent en priorité). Ayant la montant juste. Pas de paiement par carte (même si un appareil semble être installé) et la monnaie reçue ne correspondait simplement pas au montant que je devais recevoir. Dommage.

I recently visited the Bakery, and the service here was incredibly arrogant and off-putting. The staff acted as if they were doing me a favor by serving me. It was disappointing to see such a lack of basic courtesy. The food quality was just okay. In conclusion, this place might be worth a visit if you can tolerate the haughty service for the sake of okay food. However, there are plenty of other establishments with both better service and food quality that I would recommend over this one.

Good bakery right outside of the east gate. Has a decent selection ranging from pizza to croissants to pigs in a blanket. I would recommend the pizza however the tart with vanilla had barely any creme inside. Considering the prices inside of Dubrovnik, I’d highly recommend stopping by hearing for a quick bite to eat prior to going to the beach or town. There is a wall you can sit on to eat the food.

I like the products and pricing is ok but the girl there is always rude and MISERABLE! She should appreciate that she has a job and a smile would cost her nothing! It’s sad that the owner doesn’t care to tell her something about it as there is more comments complaining about that girls attitude! Who knows maybe she is owners daughter or something and doesn’t care at all!

Don’t listen to the naysayers ‍♂️ I REALLY don’t understand the bad reviews - this was by far the best bakery we’ve tried in Old Town! The pastries were super fresh and crispy. The service was great; we had them explain quite a few of their baked goods and they remained very helpful and patient. As for the prices, they were fairly priced for a tourist spot.

A quick and easy bakery if you want a croissant or pastry. To people complaining about the LCD (prices for locals) vs prices for tourists (which only varies by a couple of krona) - the grand majority of restaurants give the locals a 40% discount (eg Dubrovka restaurant) so Dubrovnik may not be for you if you find this upsetting.

STAY AWAY Worst place in my 7 days in Croatia. You will be ripped you off, charging you a different price than locals, while they look badly at you. And don’t you dare ask them to warm your pizza because they WON’T. Also, ended up with food poisoning. Giving 1 star because there is no option for 0.

Pizza bonne à un prix très correct (15 kN soit 2€). Accueil franchement mitigé. Anglais rudimentaire. Politesse discutable. Des signes d’exaspération pour avoir demandé à réchauffer la pizza à emporter. Prix touriste et prix croate clairement affichés. Un signal plus que moyen pour le touriste qui vient dépenser ses sous.

Croissants très chers: 13kn le croissant alors que même dans la vieille ville ils sont à 8kn (déjà cher) et ailleurs dans 1 autre boulangerie de l'autre côté de la ville à 4kn pour 1 croissant 2 fois plus gros! Et pas forcément bon. Peu de choix aussi....Le kozum juste à côté propose des croissant aussi bon à 2kn

Unfortunately have to agree with some other reviewers, rude and unpleasant staff, that went so far as preaching to the customers that wearing face mask (in the time of largest global epidemic in living memory) is unnecessary and harmful... will not come again, it's just not safe here

Nous avons arrêté à cette pâtisserie et été servi par une jeune femme pas très accueillante et qui nous demandait à chaque instant si c'etait tout (comme pour nous presser). Le Kremšnita (mille-feuille croate) acheté goûtait le vieux, clairement pas frais. Je ne recommande pas.

Staff is great , but in summer 2022 they sell terrible quality of pizza for huge price. They were ok , but greedy company uses tourist season to sell terrible quality for huge price. They use monopoly on Ploce gates to push this terrible unethical business practise.

I don't understand why this bakery doesn't have high reviews. I tried chocolate croissant many many times while I was staying in Dubrovnik. The price is affordable and the croissant was fresh and delicious. You can get a decent bread for your breakfast.

A reasonably nice bakery with a good selection of breads, rolls and sweet and savory pastry. Watch out for items containing margarine -- they bake must of their sweets with that, instead of using butter (including croissants, so be sure to ask!)

They treat anyone but locals like absolute dirt. Charge tourists more, let locals skip the queue, but most importantly provide terrible quality food with poor service for an excessive price. Not sure what else they could possibly do worse?

Little bakery with friendly staff and possibility to pay with credit card. I bought the chocolate croissant, which was delicious. Added bonus: it is close to the harbour viewpoint, where you can eat your baked goods with a good view.

성벽투어할 때 도시락으로 사기 괜찮습니다. 가격도 안쪽에 비하면 많이 쌉니다. 두브로브니크는 유럽전체 관광지와 비교해도 물가가 상당히 비싼 편입니다. 여행자에겐 이곳 식당음식들은 별로중의 별로입니다. 꼭 먹어야 하는 홍합요리 이런거.. 다른 도시가서 더 저렴한 가격에 더 대접받고 드세요. 아~주 비싼 데는 못갔으니. 그건 잘 모르겠습니다만. 관광지 샌드위치맛은 거기서 거기 아닌가요. 저는 추천합니다.

Stale food. We bought a chocolate donut and it was hard as ever. Must have been 3 days old. Also got 2 hotdogs that were average. Chicken wrap was cold and hard and had a stale taste. The lady serving us was rude.
