One of the few IT, Engineering and Management Sciences universities in Quetta having adequate class rooms, conference halls, labs, faculty rooms, cafeteria etc. The building design is quite good. BUITEMS has well qualified faculty and management is very keen in research and development projects which involve students. The bus transport service is also available for students.

Only university in Quetta with a good reputation but the route to get to the university is not too safe , there was an attack on Hazara Students bus in 2012 which took lives of many Hazara students and 2 afghan students who were studying there on a scholarship programme.
