Three words: They. Go. In. This is my second time coming here and honestly it’s the best car wash I’ve had in the city. I have a black SUV so every little mark/stain shows up. When I leave Avondale, there is nothing but shine. I always get the “Avondale Special” because, honestly, it’s damn near a full detail. There isn’t a crumb on my dash or a streak on my windows. These guys use airbrushes to help dry the car! You know how after your dry your car and lower your windows or your back door water will drip out? Never gonna happen after they get done with your vehicle! Also, on my first visit, I had an ugly scratch on my rim which was kinda messing up the look of my new truck. One of the guys, who knew it was a brand new car, offered to touch up the scratch with paint at no extra cost! I don’t think they do it every single time, but he knew I was new to the city and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Can’t beat it. Fast, friendly, kind, professional and thorough…. With a very fair price. I’ll always come here!

I had an exceptional experience with Sam and the Avondale Car Wash Spa. We have had car washes but after 10 years it was time for a full detail, buff, clay and interior clean up (cloth interior). I called ahead to check if we needed an appointment and Sam talked me through my options. Advising it would take between 3-4 hours. I could have dropped it off and gone elsewhere but, Sam and his team made me feel welcome in their facility and I was able to work in the waiting for a few hours while my car was cleaned. Our car turned out the cleanest it's looked in years, he was able to get many of our scratches (through the clear, and color, down to metal or primer is spots) the car was coated and waxed. It really looked amazing.

An air tag was found in my car, I found the owner and I called her to pick it up. This air tag put me in a terrible situation, cause I recently broke up with my fiancée and since I drove his car I told him that I would've cleaned before I give him back. He found the tag in the car, and suspected I was trying to track him, on the other side I had to prove to the other person that I did not steal her tag... I've got a recommendation to go to this car wash from the dealership where I recently purchased my car, but after this experience I don't think I will come back. The service was good, but the staff must be more responsible with what they take from the cars while they clean them.

This is one of the best hand car wash places I have ever used -- and there have been a lot of them. These new owners devote a lot of time to each car, soaping them up thoroughly and rinsing them and wiping them down carefully. They then do a great job of washing the inside mats, vacuuming the interior, cleaning the rims and then touching up the tires, and finally wiping all interior services. All this for $18 for the full service. The new owners are really nice guys. I'm really pleased.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and they’ve always done a good job. Maybe it was because they were closing soon they did such a bad job on the car, windows dirty and only part of the car wiped down which I can kind of understand and give them a pass. I can’t come back anymore because they took the change out of my car. It was $3 and I’m guessing they must have needed it. Mind you I tipped $5 for a bad car wash so they got me for $28

Just paid 27$ to get the works, 03/04/2022. Vacuuming was horrible still crumbs everywhere. Seats and back of seats still dirty. Whatever spray they used for interior you can see it dripping down. Will never go here again. Went there cause the usual place I go to was packed. This one had like 3 cars. I should of known. Young teenage kid Vacuuming and detailing car is horrible.

I have been to every car wash in the city except this one. I was expecting to be disappointed, but they cleaned every part of the car that every other car wash wouldn’t clean. Center console, under the seats, corners of the dashboard. If you know what I mean, you know what I mean. Five stars all around, and it’s only half a block from my house.

I came here after a quick Google search of nearby places. The owner and his brother were so personable and offered me coffee while they washed and vacuumed my car. I didn't even have time to finish my coffee they were so fast! My car looks fantastic and their prices are so reasonable for the great work they do! Definitely will be returning.

This place has re-opened under new owners/management. Sal and the guys work really hard here. They were fast and did an amazing job cleaning my car inside and out. Will definitely return and support this local business. The other places around take forever and don’t provide as good a clean as Avondale! They are thorough. It’s well worth it.

This is a rocking' carwash that did an awesome job washing my car. When it was done I couldn't believe how good it looked. It was as if I had just picked up a new car from a dealership. Sam and his employees are very nice and helpful with whatever you need. Overall this is the best carwash in the Chicagoland area hands down!

I was in need of a car wash and stumbled upon this shop on my way home. Drove in and they serviced my car right away. Staff was very friendly and Sal (one of the owners) was very personable. They did a great job with my car. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a car wash.

New owners just took over the business and wow I’m blown away with the service provided. Prices are really fair and quality of work is great. Took my Lexus RX there and they made her look like she just came off the lot!!! I found my new car wash spot! Thanks guys!!!

Sadly disappointed. Paid $40 with tip and the early bird special. Left with bugs all over the front. Dirt on the floor, cup holder, and plastic on the back of the seat. The Avondale Special said they would remove old stickers, yet I was left to do that myself.

Went by recently. They did a quality job and I was extremely satisfied. Made sure my car was spotless and made sure I was happy with the job. They offer different services as well and it’s all reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place.

This is the place I've been searching for!! I've had my cars detailed many times over the years - and those services can be pricey and super time consuming. What I found at Avondale is a reasonably priced service (I got the mini-detail) -

They removed my AirTag out my car for God knows what reason and told me they would call me and have not received a call back at all. But have my AirTag moving in different locations I will never give this place my service ever again

By far the best car wash on Elston, they didn't miss any spots like everyone else always does. I have been to every car wash in the area and this one is by far the best. My car looks better than ever before! Speedy as well. Thanks!

Came here for a car wash. And let me just say, my car has never been cleaner. Aside from their great job, their customer service is on point. I’ve been to near by car washing places, and none beat this one. 100% recommend.

They broke my gas door latch off and tried to cover it up by jamming the door into the body, getting it stuck. Two stars instead of one because it was otherwise a wonderful wash- well priced and high attention to detail.

Can’t even do a simple hand car wash without adding swirls to my vehicle. Very unprofessional. Towels they use are dirty and worn out main cause of the swirls. I would know, was once a master detailer.
