Have certainly shopped here for years and always found this location convenient. The barber in there now is old school from the city and seriously surprised me with a level of attention and care that only a veteran of barbering could attest to. The laundromat is across the road but so is the Vietnamese Take away which is without a doubt reputable genuine delicious vietnamese food. The flower shop has been there forever the news agent has THE BEST CARDS across the entire gift card range, especially funny cards and I now use that agency for last minute gifts as well. The butchers are brilliant there's is yogurt outlet a remedial massage service a post office a chemist outlet the deli the fruit n vegetable shop a travel agency and of course Coles Supermarket. The latest addition which excites me though, they're not new but for the past couple of years a fish n chips shop there has really hit the spot for great chips using fresh oil (tick) every day with a selection of salads and burgers etc that are pretty hard to resist. Booze brothers is also next door with plenty of local and imported drinks. Parking is usually ok but it is not undercover and sometimes it can get a bit testy on the patience but that's pretty much the norm until you work out the trick of walking a bit further and parking under the trees.

It's convenient, easy to find a park and close to my hairdresser, Gecko Hair on Payneham Road, Stepney; fabulous hairdressers, see Steff and the girls, they'll look after you and also give you a latte!!!! Gecko Hair is the draw card to the Avenues; I get my hair done and then do my shopping. Face Agency for makeup if needed, see Vicki, she's awesome. Dry Cleaner, see Gab for great dry cleaning. The Coles supermarket is a perfect size to navigate through especially when in a hurry. There's also a great newsagent gift store to pick up any small gifts, and a great florist. Fruit shop has great quality fruit and veg. We also frequent Sushi Train for those quick eat in meals after work. Bank SA needs a mention also, friendly staff. Belinda from Flawless Beauty for waxing, facials, manicures, pedi's, etc; lovely lady. The Avenues, very handy to my needs!

The Coles here is good for the basics but lacks a bit in not having some of my favourite brands and is constantly culling brands in favour of it's home brand products. Butcher is great. Always friendly service. The Metropolitan Fresh grocer here is in my opinion better that the one at Norwood Central. ...and they have Italian pastries for a dollar if you're feeling like a treat. The florist is great too...happy to adapt the bouquets or make one from scratch and the flowers last a long time too. The Cafe is also there for a lazy chai or take away coffee. Complete the shop with a nice red from the bottle shop which has a great range of local wines beers and spirits

Close to the city.Better car parking than the city any day.Coles have wide range of different branch products.Lots of staff to ask for things around the very large shopping centre. No meters for money for tickets for car parking. Plus no traffic inspectors putting tickets on cars if time is expired.3hrs Car Parking is very good time limit. So many different shops. The store is bright and breezy.Easy to find common products.Different stores have different products on sale.

I guess because it's slightly further away from Centrelink, you actually get less bogans here, than in Norwood. So i sacrifice. I accept the limited shop choices. The inadequate parking. The poor opening hours, I accept it to all, knowing when I walk back to my car, ill keep my spare change, and no body is taking my last smoke. 10/10 would shop here again.

Good coles, the staff member with the blonde beard was super friendly, made it a good experience. There's not a huge range of fruit and veg which would be an issue if there wasn't a grocer right in front of it. My only complaint is the hectic parking, feels a bit dangerous even to have one road directly where people are loading their cars.

The Avenues shopping Centre is one of the best.Lots of safe parking and a huge variety of specialty shops along with the major one,Coles Supermarket. The Fruit and Veg shop and The Butcher's Shop outside Coles are worth a visit for their range of fresh produce. And also a Booze Brothers Bottle Shop. All your shopping in one go. Mal

One trip to The Avenues Shopping Centre and you'll make it your "local". Good parking, lots of speciality shops with Coles the major one. Try the Fruit and Veg shop and the butcher's shop out the front of Coles, wonderful array of fresh products for you to cook up a storm at home. Also a wine shop, get along there today, Mal

Handy Shopping Centre , Close to the City, Coles Supermarket open til 9 most nights. Also Bottle Shop, Butcher, Fruit and Veg, Pharmacy, News Agent, 2 cafe's, Yoghurt Shop, Travel agent, Florist, Sushi stall, chicken and chips Avenues Tavern and Sushi restaurant just across the carpark. No need to go anywhere else.

Could do with a proper overhaul inside, and the parking area is a little Mad Max-esque - especially once you get a few parents in 4WDs that are worth a small house competing for a park. Keep your head down! Jokes aside, it's a good shopping centre to run in and out quickly, outside the usual busy times.

Got the sorts of shops I need: post office, Coles, butcher, sushi train, Cibo, bakery and a chemist. Bottle shop staff are friendly but range isn't great. Green Grover doesn't do organic stuff, which is weird, but prices and range is decent. Photo lab handy. And 1 minute from my house!

Coles Stepney is a great local place. Please do not upgrade. The new Coles Norwood is atrocious. You have to beg to get served. Not a single checkout has any staff serving properly! It's very unfortunate Coles Norwood was such a poor upgrade. Please leave Coles Stepney alone!

  • Simon Walton

A pretty average shopping centre. The Coles supermarket is a bit limited by space and therefore has less product range than other supermarkets. The specialty stores here are serviceable, but nothing special. The Fruit & Veg store has some nice looking fruit.

  • Debs Keogh

The Avenues Shopping Complex is tucked Conveniently in the inner City Suburbs. It has a Terrific Variety of Shops including a Post Office & Eateries. Plenty of Parking however, take care whilst Driving around - there are some Narrow Area's.

  • Deborah Hall

Parking was easy, SA Bank staff were friendly and efficient, but Australia Post had only one person serving, and he seemed to be caught in a time warp working super slowly, so the line up for service was almost out the door!

Small tidy shopping, nice Coles shop. It's not so big but big enough to sell most of what you may need, butcher, cafe/bar, Cibo, sushi, fruits and vegetables shops, pharmacy, barber, brows/lashes, nails/beauty.

  • David Thornley

Dissapointwd that most cafes were already closed, including Cibo (which closes at 3pm) However, there is a Cafe in the mall that has a good range of drinks, savoury and sweet delights

  • Helen Finch

My regular shopping place. The butcher and green grocer are top class. The food is excellent, a bit pricey but quality is there. Any fool can cut prices but quality is important

  • Michelle Di Fava

The meat at the butcher is wonderful and we love the fruit and veg. It's always so fresh. Coles is convenient and I love Priceline. There's everything you need in one place.

  • Lynne

The butcher here is fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. The meat was bloody beautiful. The cafe was great and the coffee was smooth and creamy. Has the supermarket also.

  • Penni Moore

The friendly butcher had bones for my dog. Coles had delicious red grapes and my favorite yogurt on special. Prices were ok and I got a car park in the shade …

  • jess Ava

It's not bad. It has most amenities you need. Bank, Coles, hairdresser, liquor store, sushi. Pub. It just needs a bit more excitement to draw people in.

  • Melissa shari Dawkins

This is one of My Favourite Shopping Centre to go to do My Grocery Shopping. I absolutely love the meat that I get there from Bruce's Butcher.

  • Lorraine Walker

Great place, .for a little lunch and cold drink, very friendly atmosphere. There are a few coffee shops as well found a Cibo there.

  • Joan Sedsman

Butcher and greengrocer always good quality. Coles Supermarket leaves a lot to be desired in terms of choice of brands.

  • pani meda

Very small but filled all you need for your shopping need and ample car parking and in the best sought after location.
