Absolutely miserable company for the most OBVIOUS REASON: Congested traffic in Austin has always been a given all-of-the-time as I have lived in Austin 40 years.Tour Austin has a COMPLETE MISUNDERSTANDING OF THEIR JOB!!!!! TIME IS MONEY AND MEMORIES! YOU RUINED MY EXPERIENCE BY F-A-I-L-I-N-G the most important parts off your job: 1) Shuttle arrived at the Austin Texas Convention Center,,,, NOT @ The Austin Vistors' Center. EVERYONE WAS CONFUSED ON WHERE TO STAND AND WAIT for the shuttle ARRIVING A FULL 30 minutes LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shuttle was paid to arrive at 5:30, most of the riders were early at the unknown spot on Red River to meet the shuttle 5:15pm standing and waiting in the heat index of 103 degrees. We boarded at 6 and departed AFTER 6PM in RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC (THANK GOD no death and dismemberment or fender benders holding up traffic). Your extremely harmful Rep's behavior by repeatedly telling all of the riders "its on its way"s by failing to understand "Lombardi Time" : GOOGLE "Lombardi Time" if you are under 40 years of age reading this. 2) My 20 year old son and I were attempting to go to our first concert together. Your shuttle info said nothing about refunds but I require one. The drop off was so far away for the age group 60+ years old on your shuttle to see Doobie Brothers and SANTANA. (We arrived at 6:53PM, instead of 6:15 PM as we were supposed to board at 5:30. LATE ARRIVAL PUT US AT THE END OF AN EXTREMELY LONG LINE WHICH YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT AND PLANNED ACCORDINGLY!! You decision makers FAILED! WE ARRIVED TOO LATE to enter the EXTREMELY LONG LINE TO GET IN AS YOU ASSUMED YOU COULD GET THERE ON TIME!!!!!! YOUR Shuttle caused my son and I to miss ten minutes of the Doobie Brothers lead off band which was supposed to start at 7PM. We paid over $600 for this venue Doobie Brothers started at 7:10PM and we still missed ten minutes (2 songs) and were extremely angry. Like most people we wanted to De-Stress!!! TOUR AUSTIN REFUSES TO RESPECT TIME, OR ITS CUSTOMERS. WE were lied to by the person at the pick up who kept lying about the late shuttle bus's arrival time. The shuttle departed late as we waited for over 30 minutes past departure time for one late individual who never showed. Your literature clearly stated we were to be at a certain location: 30 minutes max after the event. We were there, parked and departed 1 hour after the event! UNACCEPTABLE! 3) I will continue to give TOUR OF AUSTIN NASTY REVIEWS ON YELP and all other social medias my 20 years old is aware of. I personally will be eyeball to eyeball making sure this complaint at the Better Business counts against your company unless I have a full refund of $62 in my mailbox before July 25th. I'm giving you 15 days to fix yourself and pay me! Choose $62 and I shut up, or send me A-N-Y $$ less and you will get thousands of dollars of NEGATIVE BRAND NAME MARKETING from a 40 year old Austinite and his UT HONOR STUDENT. I live in Lakeway and am a man of means as we know the rich and famous out here.GET TO WORK NOW BEFORE I DO IN !5 DAYS!!! I love my son and we desperately needed you to keep your schedule. Your driver could have been on time, but your logistics team plays numbers games to maximize profit for Tour Austin. Since you already know this, and believe only a few people will take the time to tell the truth, you are currently holding well over $62 for damage control and brand protection. I am persistent and will never stop my negative, but truthful marketing for you at the BBB and Social Media. Do not call me and attempt to diffuse me. As a 20 year manager of sales/marketing people, and other contractors......I 'll watch for your $62 check!

We had a party of 10+ attend Wurstfest with this agency and I wish we never had. They were disorganized, giving us the wrong wristbands when we first arrived. They were unprepared, no music or entertainment on the bus, which was promised. But the biggest disappointment and most glaring issue, was when one of the guides, Dylan, inappropriately groped one of the members of our group while we were coming home on the bus. He repeatedly ignored our extreme concerns, and when shown video evidence of what he did, became hostile and argumentative. This continued even after we departed the bus and were preparing to leave the drop off point. We continued to be harassed even after me, and several other members of our group asked Dylan to please walk away and leave us alone. It is absolutely disgusting and despicable for a company to put these men in a position where they can harm and take advantage of women. This turned from a fun and joyful experience with lifelong friends to a traumatic experience where one of our loved ones was assaulted by a creep. We previously left a review on this agency’s page, but it has been subsequently removed. I cannot believe the audacity of this agency and their leadership.

My party booked a trip down to Wurstfest to celebrate a birthday and purchased tickets well in advance. When the time came to board the bus, we were asked to board an already full bus and that we were being taken to another bus with adequate seating. Shortly after boarding, we were told that we were going to have to stand for the entire hour+ drive to Wurstfest (I still don’t entirely think this is legal) and we were not given an option to opt out. Upon arrival, they told us our solution was to take an earlier bus back that had vacant seating. This was a huge inconvenience to my already uncomfortable party. They did give us a 50% refund, but the service around it was truly unprofessional as they said multiple times that our experience “didn’t reflect them as a company”, even though the service they gave us was exactly that. I heard from multiple people in other parties while on the bus going 70mph down the freeway that “if we crash (my party) will all die”. Very comforting. Our asks for full refunds were denied. Please evaluate safer and more reliable alternatives to this company and their questionable practices. There are plenty of other great Austin tour companies out there!

I am a highly-satisfied customer of this local business which is owned and operated by two very competent and caring women. Let me share with you why I feel this way: I had a very negative customer experience yesterday with Texas State Tubes, whom ATC contracts with at times to run their tube/float trips. Erin (of ATC) called me at my hotel to inquire about my experience and expressed her deepest sympathies. I felt that she understood very well what TST had put me through earlier in the evening. She offered no excuses and assured me she had already arranged to discuss the incident with TST the next day. Though it was not ATC or its staff that was responsible for my negative experience, Erin sent me a high-dollar Uber Eats gift card in the evening and personally delivered breakfast to my hotel the next morning with a heartfelt message. This meant very much to me and, truly, has made my last day here in Austin feel very special. Erin, thank you so much for your kindness and for going above and beyond in your customer service. If you want a high quality experience in Austin with unparalleled customer service, then I recommend that you choose Austin Tour Company.

Y'all, I cannot say enough about how great Austin Tour Company is. We bought tickets for a Deep Eddy experience which was awesome! Purchasing tickets was super simple. Then, you show up at a bar and a super fun dude gives you your wristband. They even coordinate with the bar you are picked up at for some drink specials. Our tour guide was awesome, definitely added to our Sunday Funday experience. I think what was most impressive was their customer service after the event. I may have left some things on the bus after enjoying myself on Sunday. I sent them an email to recovery my items and got a response back the same day! They coordinated with the bus company and driver to locate our missing items, going above & beyond to help a drunk chick out. Support local and book a tour! You can't go wrong with a BYOB bus, & fun staff before having an adventure. THANK YOU!!

I had a very bad experience with this company. To start things off we were promised a party couch bus with a bathroom which is stated on the ad. However it was a regular school bus which is not what I signed up for. We also were supposed to leave at 4:55 however we didn’t leave till closer to 5:30 and we didn’t get there till past 7 o’clock which took time away from the fest. I also had property stolen on the bus. My friends and I left beer on the bus and it was all gone by the time we were back on the bus. The ticket was $80 and it’s not what I paid for. Also the ticket to the fest was free admission so I’m confused on why the ticket was $80 to begin with. Update: it’s been a week after emailing them about a refund. Haven’t heard anything. This company doesn’t care clearly and is a complete scam.

Took the trip to Wurstfest. It was nice to have someone drive to and nice bus. Tour guide not very interactive with any of us seemed like we were a burden. No ac on the bus. No music for the awhile. You expect there to be some kind of music or talking. Paid good money could atleast have an aux cable or something. Felt like a high school field trip and being treated like kids. When we got there was given then mother talk about getting back to the bus on time or you'll be left behind. But no information about where to go or just anything about the festival just assuming everyone knew. Next time will be using another company or just driving myself.

It was relaxing afternoon. To me this wouldn’t be a regular idea Yet with out of town friends can be a nice change of pace. Unfortunately there was one slip — No ice was available when arriving to the start of the float. Plenty of coolers but no ice so what’s the point. And as I understand that was part of the ticket price. I would have brought my own ice and cooler, I just didn’t know that was possible - I didn’t ask - so that’s on me. I feel ☀️ kissed and mellow now so for sure I would recommend this, but just plan / ask if you aren’t sure about something. Cheers

I love all Austin Tour Company experiences, recently my friends and I took a bus to float the river and it was so much fun! Transport down was so simple and easy and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The float was a blast and all of the stress of planning was taken off of our plates because Erin is SO AMAZING with details and logistics. She was so friendly and awesome to work with to plan the perfect day. It’s definitely worth it to take the bus- let us all enjoy ourselves and not worry about transport to and from Austin! Would absolutely book again.

Our group float trip was a total blast! We floated down the San Marcos with Kelsey and Jonathan as our guides. Everything was very easy, from pickup downtown Austin, to stopping at a liquor store on the way to the river, to having a cooler and cooler tube ready for us. Kelsey and Jonathan were great guides, and Kelsey made sure we were all prepared to have the best float possible. It was one huge party on the river. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful float. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you Kelsey and Jonathan!!!

Horrible experience--$85 for a floating trip and they don't even provide decent tubes and rope to tie together. Spent most of the time paddling frantically with my hands trying to catch up with my friends. Also, lost my phone (it dropped out of my tube since these were donut shaped tubes with no bottom (cheap--wasnt expecting that or I wouldn't have brought my phone) and the guide in a kayak refused to help me turn back to fish it out of the water. Avoid at all costs! Just buy your own tubes and rope and go for free on your own.

We were very pleased with the services provided by the Tour Austin shuttle to the Austin 360 Amphitheater July 26, 2019. We felt safe with Ken, our driver. He was amicable, friendly and engaging and entertained us by playing music of the artist we were about to see, Beck. On the return trip he once again played music, this time it was classic rock tunes that we all sang along with. Thank you Ken and thank you Tour Austin, we will use you again. George and Connie R.

We had a blast with ATC on the Big Gay River Float! They are always so helpful and friendly. I mistakenly purchased the wrong tickets, and when I contacted them, they immediately fixed everything. On the day of the float, somehow we missed the announcement our yellow-dog bus was leaving. When we asked about it, they let us get on the VIP bus so we wouldn’t be left again. Thanks Sessy Tony! Can’t wait for another float trip with ATC.

We booked a tour to Magnolia Farms the destination was wonderful! So interesting with plenty to see. The shops were unique and the variety of food to choose from was diverse. What made it fun was our tour guide Travis. He was very engaging and knowledgeable. His Facts about quirky details of things was funny and fascinating. I highly recommend this company when booking something not on the boring menu. You won't be disappointed.

Loved our tubing trip down the San Marcos River. The bus picked us up from downtown, drove us about 50 minutes, set us in the river, and picked us up about 3 hours later. The website said the time frame was 11-5 and warned us that it could be later, and it was. We returned around 6pm. The guide Nicky was great and clear. The water level was very low in some places and we walked in the river. Some places were over 7 feet deep.

Wurstfest 2022: Great experience all around! Appreciated the call to make sure we were on our way. Appreciated the friendly greeter who checked us in at the registration table to give us our wristbands. Appreciated our tour guide, Tony!!!!!! He was so nice and great personality yet professional! He was very informative and put on our music requests Will be looking to do more events with austin tour company!!!!! Thank you!

We went on the Deep Eddy trip and had a blast! There is no distillery tour but the place is super fun to drink at and share the afternoon with friends. Our guide was Layne and he was great!!! He made it such a enjoyable experience and the bus ride was so much fun. If you do go on this tour be sure to get on the bus that Layne is on, he will make it a great afternoon even if you are a bunch of guys who miss the bus!!!

I went with some friends on one of the distillery tours, we visited Deep Eddy, Treaty Oak and another I can't remember. It was a fun time, not needing to concern ourselves with driving or even directions. The limo bus was clean, spacious and comfortable and we had the ability to stream our own music over the speaker system. Glad we gave it a shot and will try another tour next time in Austin....keep it weird!

The company I work for takes an annual river trip and this year was the first time we used Austin Tour Company and it for sure will not be the last! From the start of the booking to getting off the bus after the river it was flawless. They really took great care of us and it shows that they love Austin and what they do. Thanks for the best river trip we here taken! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Super fun, chill day in the river! The staff person, Kelsey, was super awesome and everything was so easy from check in to drop off. Only suggestion is starting just a bit later on Sunday so that the group can buy beer after 12 (maybe the traffic gods were just in our favor and we got to the stop early but we had to chill a bit after getting a stern talking to by the shop staff).

Austin Tour Company is great! I’ve done a few of their experiences in the past and always having an amazing time. Most recently, I floated the river in San Marcos. It’s so great floating knowing that you have a safe ride home, and the staff are super friendly and on top of making sure that everyone has a wonderful time! I would definitely do another experience of theirs.

I purchased my ticket last night for the event today, and from the moment I started the process until the minute the shuttle dropped us off after the day was done, it was a great experience. I also ended up losing my key in the river, and the event staff was extremely helpful in remedying that situation. I highly recommend Austin Tour Company and Texas State Tubes.

Great company. My husband and I went to Austin and while looking online I picked them because they are better priced than others. Unfortunately, my husband got sick before the floating the river trip. The ATC was beyond professional, and I was very impressed with their customer service. They have great packages and we will be using them again in the future.

This was easily one of the coolest day group activities I’ve ever done and Austin Tour Company’s excellent guides made it even better! The guide team achieved a great balance of fun and organization and knew their audience expertly well. We had 75 rowdy twenty-somethings and they rocked it! Highly recommend ATC for all of your group activity needs!!

It was glorious. Austin Tour Company made it beyond simple for me to commit fully to embracing my truth as an impish overgrown child. You get to the bus; they remind you to put on sunscreen; they deposit you in the river; they carpool you back. Like elementary school, but with adult beverages and a winning attitude. Big fan. The guides are great!

Patti helped explain the details of the trip, which we planned an hour before the bus left. She stayed in communication with me, making sure we made it to the pick up location. Brett was our river guide who provided a fun and helpful trip. The coach bus was so nice, coolers were great, overall a wonderful experience for a couple of 50-somethings!

This tour was so much fun and so easy to do! Brett was our guide and he kept us on track during the whole float and was very helpful. Booking was easy and quick and when I called to ask questions, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed this experience and will definitely be booking my next float trip with them again!!

The distillery was a fun place to drink. There was no tour of the distillery or anyone to tell you about the process of distilling vodka per the description of the tour on the website. Enjoyed our day but would not reccomend this unless you are just looking for a quiet place to drink vodka. The bus was clean & the driver very nice.

The experience to Wurstfest was great! I didn’t enjoy how it took an hour and 45 minutes to get there. Perhaps the “leave” time is a little earlier? It was free admission as well the night that I went- perhaps the cost was the service. Nevertheless/ great time and nice bus- only wish I had more time at the actual festival.

Daniel was our tour guide and he was AMAZING. The first gas station we stopped at was out of ice, so the bus driver drove to H-E-B and Daniel provided ice for the entire group. He was very professional, responsive, extremely hospitable, and funny. Austin tour company was very organized. Will definitely go again!!!

I have been to Austin twice and seen the famous bats 4-5 times... the Bat Boat was the BEST! We had an amazing time, got to sample some local food and drink, heard some cool #batfacts, and enjoyed one of the best possible vantage points! Great value for what you pay and would 100% go again!

Got me there. Very dissatisfied with my experience. I was advertised to get a trip to wundefest via bus that is luxary and would be showing the move beer fest. All they did was played top 40 hip.hop the drive out there on busted speakrrs. On a regular coach bus. 45$ I could have used a lyft

Amazing tour guides. So convenient to have a chartered bus to take us to the drop off spot on the river and to pick us up when we were done. We had a group of 70+ and enough coolers for all of us as recommended by the guides. Such a relaxing and fun time on the river. Book with them!

Tony was so great! Our bus was a comfortable tour bus as opposed to some of the school buses we saw. We had a great trip down the river with food, drinks, and snacks. It was nice that coolers and ice were provided. Favorite activity we did during our moms’ getaway weekend in Austin.

Great experience with ATC! I reached out for help planning a corporate event, winery tour with about 25 people. They were easy to communicate with and helped me tailor the event to meet our needs within our budget. We will definitely work with them again in the future!

ATC is always a great time no matter which experience you choose. We especially love that ATC practices sustainability! Our favorite guide is Katie, you can tell she loves nature and she always encourages environmentally friendly behaviors throughout the tours!!

This was a fun trip. Patti was amazing and provided us with quick details about the pick up and locations. When we experienced a bus hiccup she quickly adjusted time with another bus. The VIP bus was great. Nice a/c comfortable seats is the way to go.

We went on the Float Trip, 07/21/2019, and had an amazing time! Kelsey, our tour guide was awesome and kept us safe throughout the whole float! I would highly recommend this trip for a large group of friends that would like to drink but play it safe!

I did the San Antonio Day Trip from Austin and had an amazing experience. Tour started on time and I got plenty of time to explore Alamo and Riverwalk. Travis, the guide, was very friendly and knowledgable. Very recommended.

Wonderful experience! It is so organized on Saturday morning. The bus is super comfortable. The river atmosphere is great and Texas State tubes has everything ready for you upon arrival. Highly recommend.

The river tubing tour was cancelled less than 24 hours before we were scheduled to go. They said this was because they had not sold enough places on the tour. Disappointing.

Staff are funny and professional. They did a great job wrangling our large party (not an easy task) and keeping things fun and safe on the river. Local owned!
