Excellent focus on literature and technology at this Chicago Public School. It's large, but inviting and warm enough to seem otherwise. The teachers' excitement about their jobs is palpable. The classroom layouts, complete with sitting areas, family photos and classroom libraries, are ingenious. No standard rows of desks, here.

After going to Burley, I have noticed that the standards have gone down with the faculty change. The once challenging programs, kept in place by dedicated teachers, started to fail in the upper grades as students felt their education suffer.

While doing after school care for the Lakeview YMCA we directly overly Burley kids. I have worked here for about 3 months so far and have to say that the kids at Burley are the most well mannered children I have worked with.

this school has good teachres and good and the food is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good but the dress code sucks

The playground is awesome! We love to run around here in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. The new turf field is almost as good as a backyard!

Wonderful school. Awesome teachers nurturing and challenging the students.
