Had a horrible experience at the practice. I booked through a phonecall and mentioned to the receptionist that I had 3 issues to discuss win the doctor, I relayed what the issues were. Receptionist said she'll book me in for a long appointment, 20 minutes. I attended the practice today, and the appointment was booked in for a short appointment only. The doctor rushed me through, only half discussing 2 of the issues before rushing me out the door after 10 minutes so he can see his next patient. This rushing was unprofessional considering this wasn't my fault, and I still have another medical issue that was not discussed. He encouraged me to book a phonecall with him, which is not possible for a physical examination. Considering I took leave from work to be able to attend this appointment, this was disgraceful and I won't be returning.
Booked here as a last minute appt for sub 1 child...Arrived 20mins early for my appt. Allocated Doctor skipped me despite us sitting in the waiting room, after nearly an hour I approached reception who tried to get another doctor to see us (he became angry as he "refuses to see other Dr.s patients)... allocated Dr then skipped us a SECOND time...after nearly 2hours and multiple conversations with reception they advised allocated doctor was still another 20mins. Reception ended up begging a third Dr ( Dr. Vueti) who was not "in clinic" to see us. Dr. Vueti was brilliant, professional and apologetic. However we will not be back.
Stop booking 10 minute back to back appointments and you wouldn't have 45 minute - 1.5 hour wait times, annoyed sick people, and poor doctor Ian who has to work back to back to back, it's not fair on him to be able to dedicate 10 minutes to such a variety of issues and people and ensure adequate and proper treatment- pay this man more money or make his schedule reasonable, it's like you're using him to pump out as much money for your business as you can at the expense of not only his time and energy and the time and energy of sick patients who could infect other people just being in the doctor longer than needed
I've seen a few of the Doctors here due to the close proximity of the clinic. Every experience with the clinic and staff has been informative, educational and was/is entirely in the interests of better health and the individual (in this case myself). The new renovations look good and embodies an open environment, with cleanliness (attention to detail). The front lady staff member of colour helped me immensely in a time of requirement that made a huge difference in my perception. I will see my regular GP for everything I can now though, who is at another clinic which I prefer. Great clinic!
Han Tan is the worst GP I’ve ever met. I have an ankle pain and he checked a few seconds and give me the diagnosis: gout. I asked if I need some blood/urine test or X ray to exclude other reasons but he rejected. I ask for some explanations for gout and not sure why a young thin woman would have this. He asked me to Google it. I think gout is the only reason he knows for foot pain because he is not a real doctor. No wonder he is not qualified to prescribe the tests.
We have been seeing Dr sharareh memary for awhile now and we find her to be amazing, dr sharareh is very gentle and approachable and makes us always feel very welcomed and reassured. My 3 year old twins love her. She even has them well trained for when are having nose and throat checks by sticking their tongues out. Thank you Dr Sharareh for always making us feel like we matter.
An elderly lady had a fall on the escalators nearby. I went in to request someone to come as she had cuts and it was a pretty big fall. Very apathetic attitude from the receptionist. Made a phone call and after a few minutes suggested we bring her up. Told her she had fallen and was not in a position to walk. Suggested a wheelchair. Refused to send anyone. Disgraceful attitude.
Dr Han Tan is a pig. A rude and inappropriate man with little to no common decency . if only the RACGP looked at a doctors ability to service their patients instead of malpractice. Stay away from this practice if you want respect and a empathetic doctor who wants to do more then just charge your Medicare rebate.
I saw Dr Sharareh recently, a new doctor at the clinic. Really felt like I was being heard for the first time in a while. She was very compassionate and reassuring, and I will be back to see her soon.
I have been a patient of Dr Sharareh For many years now , I have found her to be very understanding and compassionate with a lovely soft nature. Very happy to continue with her care .
