Well this was interesting. We were at a different Ashley location looking at a table. It was unfortunately discontinued, but the Salt Lake location had one in stock that was a floor model. We called the store, got the quote for just the table and the assurance it was there and would be 30% off. After driving over 30 minutes to get there, no one was at the door to greet or guide us. We walked through the store and found someone who directed us to the salesperson we spoke to. The salesperson we spoke to then guided us across the store to the table in the wrong color, even though we spoke to two people on the phone confirming the item and color, one of those individuals was her. After she located the correct color, she speed walked us to what seemed to be the storage area of the store. There was definitely no browsing along the way. When we got there the price was over triple what they quoted us on the phone and we were told we have to take the chairs too. We explained we just drove over 30 minutes because two people on the phone confirmed we could get this exact table for 30% off without the chairs. Again, one of those days individuals was her. She told us we were spoiled and that when she lived in Florida she drove an hour. She didn’t even bother to consider what we have going on in our lives and why driving around over the next few days would be difficult for us. She then said she had to confirm with her manager that we could get just the table. So we walked all the way back around to the other side of the store again and the manager, who also was not helpful or very happy said we could have just the table for 20% off. By this time we were a little fed up and agreed and said we will take it today. Then we found out that no one was there to help us load it into our car and we were told we have to move it from storage to our car by ourselves and load it into our car ourselves. I feel like this is a liability waiting to happen, especially since I said we are coming right now to get it on the phone and no one said we would have to load it ourselves. And again, one of those individuals we spoke to and said we are coming right now to pick it up was her. This was now getting ridiculous. Finally, we asked if there was another entrance we could use, she said no even though there were three entrances, one that led straight out to our car in the parking lot. We asked if we could use the side door that was clearly right in front of us marked “Exit”. She said she would get the key and we pulled our car around. Then she watched as my husband and I loaded the table by ourselves into our car and she locked the door behind us without saying goodbye or thanking us. Horrible service. This will be our one and only shopping experience with Ashley Furniture. I like the table and quality, but I truly believe the salesperson matters and so does the manager on duty as the one tonight was not helpful at all. Unfortunately, this is a true buyer beware.

I thought I was having a great experience purchasing 2 recliners for my mother. The sales person and manager were both very nice and helpful, the problem came in with the delivery. Because Ashley's does not pick up and remove old frold furniture I had to schedule my delivery for a week out so I could have my mother's sectional removed. When the delivery showed up And they started unpacking the boxes in my front yard I noticed that the recliners we're not the ones I purchased. They packed it back up and left leaving trash in my yard and in the street. I called customer service to ask about getting the correct furniture sent to me and was told that it would take up to 72 hours before somebody got back to me to figure out what was going on And they sent me an email requesting me to send them a 360゚ photo of the recliners that I purchased, meaning I would have to drive all the way back downtown and go into the store to take a picture In the show room. Today is Thursday so chances of them getting back to me by tomorrow is slim, so I would have to wait until roughly Tuesday of next week to get any information As to how this will get rectified and a new delivery date scheduled. In the meantime that leaves my mother with nothing to sit on. Really disappointed and In a bind now. $3200 order canceled.

Avoid at all costs! You're better off getting used furniture from a thrift store or online than trying to deal with this place. The saleswoman hovered, and was pushy and rude. She swore that the furniture we were getting was all in-stock and encouraged us to buy for this reason, but when the delivery day came we found out that some items were out of stock. They CONTINUED to push our delivery dates back and we weren't able to move into our apartment because of it. There was no level of communication or customer service, and multiple times we were told that an error on their part was the reason for the delay, yet no steps were taken to correct their errors or rectify the situation. This all might be bearable if the furniture was good quality or worth the hassle, but our couch, which we bought new and have used for about a month and a half, has a huge rip on the cushion where the seam just fell apart. We seriously sat on it a handful of times before we noticed the stitching coming apart. So disappointing. I have had couches hold up for YEARS better than this couch held up for a week. Not to mention, a lot of our stuff was missing pieces or came damaged, but at that point we accepted it because there had already been so much delay.

I was told by my sales guy that I would get free delivery, then was charged $100. My purchase was on sale $350 off, but I was charged full price. When I brought the difference to his attention, I was told I would get my money back in 3-5 days. After a week and no return, I called again, and he blamed the accounting department. I then called them directly, only to find out that he barley submitted the request that day, AFTER I had called him again and he blamed them. In all, it took over 2 weeks to get my money back. This was also the 2nd mattress I have purchased from him. Next, I was told that due to the issues, I could get some store credit in the form of a gift card. When I agreed to that, I was next told that he asked and now found out that they no longer do that. In all, I felt, rather, WAS, VERY lied to and taken advantage of by my sales person. EVEN AFTER I kept his card from over a year ago and came back to him for a second purchase ( a $3000 mattress...) I still need a few more items, but will go somewhere else in the future.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My wife and I went 3 weeks ago to place an order for a bed frame and chest drawer. We were told that all items were available and would be delivered on 10/31. Turns out the chest was a backorder item and when Ashley delivered the bed frame, the footboard didn't match the rails or headboard, the lamps didn't match the headboard and as a remedy, the technician wanted to drill holes into the headboard. 3 weeks have passed, and Ashley mailed 2 lamps for the bed. One of them is the right one, but the other doesn't match. So 3 weeks after purchase, we still do not have our order fulfilled. This is a mickey mouse organization that is good at taking your money and not delivering your orders that you paid in full for. My advice is to stay away from Ashley and take your business elsewhere. To Ashley: Do not leave me your automated "we're sorry but contact us" line. I've been on the phone with you clowns for 3 weeks, and nothing has been resolved.

Walked in and was greeted by Richard.M really nice and helpful, highly recommend him. We bougth some floor clearance items. At check out, Foster the store Manager was not rude but very unreasonable asking us to come back the next day because he had no one to load us. He went on to say if I wanted to take it I could cary it out myself and refused to open the side door In the cleerance section due to having no keys on hand. Total A hole. Guess what, Richard found the keys and helped me load it up himself. Awsome guy to go out of his way to do this. The items were small and Foster's customer service will make me not want to shop there again. I understand if it was a huge sectional or complete heavy bedroom set, No problem. These were a small chair and a bed in one med size box that Richard brought over in a dolley. I carried the chair out myself. Thank you Richard and Foster shame on you for lying about not having keys and bad customer service.

Ashley has resolved this issue the best they could. I am still upset it took them this long and all the effort that had to be taken just to write the wrong. 1-2stars We paid full price for new couch and after we picked it up and unboxed it we found that it was damaged and missing parts. I’ve spent hours over the phone and sent numerous emails regarding this problem. There has been no resolution or compensation. Their costumer service has been very unhelpful and has wasted a lot of my time. I do not recommend buying anything from this company considering how apathetic they have been with my case. Makes me really concerned how they treat the rest of their costumers with bigger problems. Just imagine you buy something, receive it broken/damaged and then listen to costumer service tell you there is nothing they can do about it. Chances are this is their standard operating procedures and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through that.

I'm appalled at how they are still open. My husband and I bought our furniture set in September and only just received the last of our order 3 weeks ago. We had been waiting on the accessory set. When it finally came, it was loosely packed in a copy box with Ashley flyers tossed in. We were absolutely shocked, not only with the packing but with the fact that it was not what we ordered. I called multiple times, both the 800 # and the store. I also contacted the chat option (bot) and emailed. Not one person reached out. I finally had to drive to the store with the box. The manager really didnt have an explanation and confirmed that is how they pack boxes with no original packaging. I demanded a refund. This company does have decent furniture but nothing else. Their customer service is garbage and their website is difficult. There are much better places to get your furniture.

Walked in to a ghost town!! All the employees were in the breakroom hosting a baby shower for an employee. My husband and I walked the entire store alone. Three women asked if someone was helping us. But no one stayed around long enough to answer any questions we did have. I cannot and will not buy from a sale person thst is NOT helpful knowing they are earning commission on the"sale". One girl approached us three times but she was so rude, abrupt, very short with her responses, she made rude faces at me when I was trying to give her my phone number, had to repeat it three times, and so pushy. She was only interested in us paying her commission check and NOT interested in helping us find furniture that made us happy and fit our needs!!! We DID decide on a couch and was gonna buy that day but NOT from her so we left! Store is located on 300W.

ONLINE EXPERIENCE.. I ordered items on cyber Monday expecting to get them by Dec 2nd, as per their website indicated during purchase, called Dec 1st to verify delivery and was told my items would be at my house Dec 2nd. Well, Dec 2nd rolls around and guess what? No items. However, not a big I needed those items that day so I went to a local shop and picked up what I needed. Since then I have called Ashley Furniture 4-5 times and requested a cancelation online 2 twice since Dec 2nd and I am still being charged for items I no longer need. I was promised my order would be cancelled within 48 hours that was Dec 8th. I have called three times today (Dec 12th) and each time either I am disconnected or the customer rep has hung up on me. This has been the worst experience.

First time buying and honestly one of the most frustrating and worst furniture purchase experiences I’ve had!! I bought a bed frame there and it did not come with instructions so I had to call and hold for about an hour to get them emailed to me. The parts are not labeled either; nor are the bolts and smaller pieces so it made it really difficult to know what went where. On top of that the instructions I was sent had a step that was completely different than what I had and was missing bolts. I ended up figuring it out thanks to a rep telling me to kind of just wing it after contacting them three times for help but I will save myself the headache next time and go somewhere else.

I had a great experience shopping here! I was on the hunt for the matching headboard to my bedroom set I purchased from Ashley furniture years ago. I have only ever had the nightstand and dresser, as I received these two pieces as a Christmas gift from my parents. While browsing at this location I found the exact Queen headboard I needed on the floor and Sarah helped to locate all the pieces to it. It was brand new with no damage, and truly a miracle find! I was also able to purchase the Maggie sofa for nearly half price from the clearance section. Such great finds here and a great experience working with Sarah to purchase these items!

Poor communication, horrible 3rd party delivery courier, lack of communication, makes appointments then shows up 2 days early when I'm unavailable. Will be emailing corporate. Delivery fee waived but have been dealing with this for over a month. Only saving grace was Chaney at the physical store in SLC. He had such a warm, welcoming smile & expressed empathy about all the hoops they made me jump through to finally have a functional bed. Nobody at the toll-free number or "Ashley Technical Support" has ever followed up other than asking me why I filled out a survey the way I did. It is too long of a story to type up here.

We are buying a new house and I wanted to get some new furniture to match. When I got to Ashley everyone was so friendly that it lowered my stress levels instantly. I worked with Sarah to look at couches and after explaining to her what I was looking for, she showed me a few options that matched my description. Her friendly expertise was so refreshing while she actually listened to me and knew exactly what they had to offer. It was so easy working with her and I found a living room set that I absolutely love! I'm waiting until we finish the move, but I'm definitely going back to get a new dining set!

Had a wonderful and dedicate experience with Michael M.! I went in to purchase a couch I had seen online, but ended up getting an excellent deal with both the couch and another piece of furniture I needed. Upon delivery, the folks couldn't get the couch into my home, so I immediately called Michael and he promised me a happy resolution. Boy was he right! I was able to find a couch that will fit beautifully into my home at a great price (thanks to both Michael and Kim)! I am so grateful for this experience. If you need furniture and good conversation, make sure you ask for Michael! :)

I needed to purchase a mattress for my son who was moving into new apartment and starting school in 2 Days. Found what we needed on your website. Called SLC location, spoke with Katherine, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Arrived 4 days later, was in and out of the store in 4 minutes, went to warehouse, everyone there was super friendly. Was in and out with new mattress in the back of my truck in the blink of an eye! So very grateful to everyone in your business for making this so easy for us! I will be sure to come back for all my furniture needs.

Horrible horrible store. Horrible customer service!!! The quality of the products are compared to a cardboard box. Ordered a bed room set and the head board was broken had to refuse on site. The dresser was broken in 4 places but since we took it into our home for 3 minutes they wouldn't take it back. Had a technician try and repair it and they made it worse!!! Never ever will I step foot in any location. My hard earn money wasted on a company that sells subpar furniture that falls apart. Would not recommend this highway robbery store. Don't waste your time or money.

My husband and I were recently looking to purchase front room furniture. We stopped at Ashley first. This turned out to be the best decision we made that day. We were pleasantly greeted when we walked in the store and did not feel pressured. We were able look freely and take our time. The experience was very relaxing. Rick and Sarah were very helpful when needed them. The store was very well-lit, so you could see what you were purchasing. It was a great experience. We ended up buying our furniture from there. My husband and I both HIGHLY recommend Ashley.

Worst shopping experience ever! Please be careful about their products! When they are at display, you smell nothing, but when you purchased the new furniture to your home, it has bad chemicals smells! It won’t go away for at least 3 months! Their technician doesn’t think it’s a defect or they are lying. Their SLC store manager is very rude! You could have a much better experience at RC Willy and even IKEA! RC Wiley’ products quality and customer service are more worth your money and your time! Never go to Ashley

I have a complaint Their customer service is terrible. Their so call service rep lies. They do not back up there furniture even if you have a warranty. They acknowledge that you have a problem but, it's normal. It was normal why would I be calling. Do not buy from Ashley furniture they are not honest. If I knew what I know I would have never never never would have purchased and spent thousands of dollars on cheap Quailty and lies and they don't care about it. Sad. I originally arrived at this store w/my truck to help my brother move his newly purchased couch and dresser...when I arrived I was introduced to Sarah - who had helped my brother....with her help, knowledge & guidance I was able to procure a new table and some mirrors for myself. My wife and I found ourselves needing a replacement couch with very little notice. We shopped around and found ourselves at Ashley. The salesperson, Ian, was amazing! He approached us immediately upon entering the store and made us feel welcome. He listened to us about what we wanted and never once pressured us to increase our budget. We were able to find a wonderful sectional in our price range and Ian was able to get delivery set up for just two days later. We will definitely be coming back.

Tom greeted me shortly after I got in the store. He was busy with another customer. We chatted about what I was looking for, he then gave me directions saying he would come find me in a few minutes. Horrible delivery experience. My mom just got out of the hospital. They never called to tell us when delivery (well they did AFTER they already left). They were extremely extremely rude. They never called the phone number they were instructed to repeatedly. They just wanted to leave it in the garage and leave. Not worth the $100 delivery fee that was advertised as free delivery. Customer service seriously sucked from the moment we started. I dont think we will ever use them again.

I'm even mad just thinking about all the money I spend ,thinking I got a good deal...I recently bought my first house and I wanted to decorated nice so I bought furniture their ...my dinning table, sofas ,my little girls furniture for their room.....the first day I notice my kids drawers were not able to closed right...I called them and since I had insurance i thought they were gonna fixit,but No THEY Didn't...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is shady.. They tell you they give you a discount by raising the original price. So you end up with the same price "after discount". They were extremely rude, and constant lies coming out of every employee we spoke to. If it says it is "In stock for fast delivery", that's a lie. It's not.... They told us we would need to wait at least 4 weeks if not more. Just a bunch of people lying and scamming their way into your wallet. STAY AWAY!

Janet is the best!!!! Went in yesterday for some stools and had the best experience. I usually really dislike talking with sales people but she made my partner and I extremely comfortable and offered suggestions without being pushy, which is what I usually experience. Even after looking around a bit, we actually ended up going with the first set she recommended cause they were so comfortable. Will definitely ask for her again next time!!!!

This is a great furniture store but the workers make me uncomfortable. They have the habit of following me and my wife around while we’re just cruising around. The last thing someone wants is to look over their shoulder to see a worker following them, and their attempt at hiding the fact they’re following you is very poor. It’s not like someone is going to grab a couch and walk out with it, never coming back because of the atmosphere.

Our sales person (Janet) was amazing! We bought a sofa, an ottoman, and a dinning set. Janet took her time with us and even dug through the back for an ottoman that was discontinued to find us the last one they had in the right color! She also helped us load everything up! I had been to 3 other furniture stores and had spent hours looking online but Ashley Furniture had the best prices and nice furniture. We will definitely be back!

Great place to shop with a huge selection. Michael was incredibly helpful, funny, and didn't add any pressure. I just needed to purchase one dining chair to see if it would work before committing and he still gave me his full attention. That's customer service. I stop here first for all my couch , chair, and even decor needs. They always have great prices. Thank you Michael McDonald for being so great to work with.

Shopping at Ashley was such a pleasant experience! So many amazing options and our salesperson Tom McCartan was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all. He made our purchasing process super easy and got us the best discounts. I would come back to shop here for furniture again and would recommend to anyone else looking for a great deal! First of all, you know that when you’re dealing with Ashley, you are going to have quality furniture! The pricing and selection at the store I went to on 300 W., and about 1700 South was fantastic! My sales person was Janet and she was wonderful. I’d like to give her a five stars for dealing with all the items I bought and the paperwork it took for her to get me all set up! All with a smile on her face!.

I was able to find my dream bedroom set thanks to the help of Sarah W.. she was incredibly helpful not only listening to what I wanted but also supporting me in finding a great deal on the mattress as well. The whole experience there was wonderful from choosing what I wanted down to the delivery and install. That was two years ago and I am still loving my purchases and would recommend them to everyone!

I had a really disappointing, frustrating experience with Ashley furniture. The manager gave us gift cards, apologized and tried to smooth over the problems. It took me a while to get back to even use the cards since I had a bad taste in my mouth. Happy to report, Sarah, Forest, and Tiffany treated me so kindly when I finally got back in. Kudos to them for their great attitudes and service!

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley today. I was immediately greeted by Michael McDonald, such a kind and helpful and funny man! He helped me find a coffee table with matching end table for less than the sticker price and some great throw pillows that were 75% off! He was very understanding about the budget that I’m on and didn’t push me at all to spend more money. Michael was the best!!

My boyfriend and I went in knowing already what we were looking for but Ian greeted us immediately, didn’t hover, came to check on us just at the right time when we needed him. He was very nice, answered our questions and helped us get the couch we wanted. Delivery went smooth with zero issues. They make you feel great at first, when I bought my couch it started to brake. They send a technician to fix a couch that I had bought less than a week, plus the back rest of my couch broke and they only did a patch job. When i tried to get a replacement instead of a quick fix, they said their policy was to repair not to exchange. Will never buy or recommend.

Product took 6 months to get to us. Don't bother with the expensive warranty either. Paid $500 for our couch protection. Trying to get warranty work done is a joke. Been waiting for three weeks now for someone to come out and fix the problem. I can't even get them to commit to a date. Frustrating. Will never do business with them again.

We went here to look for Lsectional sofa but we end up to get the modern style Magie sofa we really love it. Plus we got a free carpet. Michael McDonald was really nice and very patience to us, we had a lot of questions to him that he really help us all the way thru. We are so thankful to him that he was there. Excellent experience working with Sarah W. I had to quickly find furniture for a new home, and Sarah helped me prioritize my list to find exactly what I needed at the best price. The selection is also terrific, so many choices. I spent the same or less than I would have at Ikea — and ended up with real furniture. I will be back!

Tom was a very good salesperson and we a appreciated all of his efforts and time. The only thing that I can say negatively is the charge for delivery. The $100 charge for set up and delivery is not right. We live less than 10 miles from your store and although we are not a big customer it will keep us from coming back again!

Their delivery team refused to deliver the couch without me signing a damage waiver. Isn’t that what I paid the delivery fee for in the first place is that if they cause damage, they are responsible for it?!? I had to refuse delivery of the couch. Terrible experience and terrible customer service.

They delivered our items today and 2 of the three items were damaged. The damaged dresser they brought in scratched our brand new floor and they dinged our wall. No one said anything when they did it and we are currently fighting with someone about how to report the damage but he hung up on us.
