A large but rather featureless expanse. If crossing it as part of a longer walk, you can cross the road into here from Long Lane Wood, and go out through a gate that goes in to the Shirley Oaks Hospital car park from which you can continue through the green areas round Shirley Oaks Village (photo attached). This gate is near the exit to Glenthorne Road.

I play football here every so often, it’s an alright place however the pitch is quite hard and the goals tend to be small and the layout isn’t that good and the pitch is at a gradient which makes the ball go everywhere, would still recommend to go here to play if it’s local but it’s defo not a first choice

We need dog waste only bins but more of them -ask the dog walkers - to stop people taking their household rubbish which is torn open by the crows and distributed over the field - what a mess!

Very large open space with football goals. A couple benches scattered around also.

Funfair was lovely. My 5 year old enjoys it with me so much year after year.
