I had the worst experience ever at this salon. I asked for a blow dry and for the ends to be curled. I came in with damp hair and the hairstylist started with blow drying and then she used a straightener to curl my ends. The hairstylist at this salon burnt my hair and damaged it beyond repair. I am devastated and very worried about what will happen to my hair. I am not sure why this happened, but I believe she started using the straightener to curl my ends while my hair was still a little damp. She also kept the straightener at every high heat and would keep it on each strand for 90+ seconds. I was worried about this but I thought the hairstylist knew what she was doing. Clearly, she did not. My hair still smells very strongly of a burnt smell, even though I washed it 3 times since then. No matter how much I wash it, the smell won't go away. My hair feels rough now and brittle, and I had some breakage. I have never experienced anything like this. For background, I get my hair blow dried every week at my usual salon, but they were busy one day and I decided to try this salon. They are unprofessional, and they did not use any heat protectant or any product on my hair. I doubt that the hairstylist who did my hair even has any formal training. I am now worried that I might have to cut all my hair off, I have to wait a few days and see if it improves. I am doing repair and conditioning treatments right now, but this place does not deserve to stay open with hairstylists that do not have any training and damage their customers hair.

I am obsessed with Amy's work! She did my hair for my wedding this past Saturday and it was stunning. I have naturally very curlt hair and it's the only look that suits me. However, there was a hair style that I loved but was so scared it would not look good on me and that It wouldn't come out the way I wanted it to. Amy assured me that it would come out perfect. She invited me to her salon to straighten my hair the day before and even did a mask for me to soften my hair. The day of the wedding, the style and my hair exceeded my expectations and even more than I could have ever imagined!!! Amy is extremely talented and soo detailed and was sooo professional, helpful and sweet throughout the entire process. My haid stayed in its place the entire day and looked as if i just got out the styling seat. It was flawless!! I am so fortunate to have found her in time and I would never go to anyone else now that I know what she is capable of. Amy I wish you nothing less than the absolute best and success in everything you do!!! THANKS SOO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

It is always an amazing experience to go to Amy Salon. She's my wonderful hair stylist, she is always the best in everything. She always understands what I want and makes it to its best, and if I need any opinion from her about a new look, her opinion is always professional and artistic. I have been with her for more than 10 years . She is very punctual, and she is very professional of how to manage time so I can go and do hair colouring, pedicure, manicure , style and everything together and in no time. I was referred to Amy through a friend although I live in Aurora and I thought at first that it’s really too far from me. However, I went last month for some protein treatment and I am very impressed with the results not just I am happy with my hair but I am impressed with Amy herself and her sweet friendly and professional team working with her. Amy is the best stylist by far that I have ever had. She is an expert with colour and cut. I love my hair every time I come! She is also incredible at styling my hair. Was looking for a basic french twist (even had a video tutorial showing what I wanted) and the stylist did not execute. Ended up getting a massive messy bun filled with pins that started coming out immediately when I started dancing. Also used way too much heat and hairspray that I cannot wash out fully. The bride's hair looked great. Bridesmaids and guests were all disappointed with their hair and did not get what they wanted. Don't even bother bringing photo inspiration, they won't listen.

Bride's hair was done beautifully and what she wanted, but that's it. No one else's was what they wanted despite showing photos. I have short hair and was looking for a simple look but the stylists criticized that it wasn't extravagant enough. Thankfully i was able to fix it to look more like what I wanted. Would never use again, money wasted.
