I rented with Altus for 12 months in 2018 to 2019, it was my first time moving out of home and the staff here made that move easy and without much hassle. They were helpful, welcoming and seemed to know exactly what they were doing/talking about. Quick to respond to text messages and phone calls, as well as emails too. I never had an issue with them or the landlord, I've recently applied for a few properties that are being advertised by Altus and would recommend anyone to rent through them. I had an awesome experience with them with zero hassle and hope to have that same experience with them again! :)

I must first state that I haven't had an Interaction with Altus however I was thinking of renting through this property management group, however after the negative reviews I had second thoughts. The good reviews appear to be faked or made up as they are written very similar and their good profiles were created the same day as the posting; the fact that the property manager herself Lisa Kotsano had rated 5 stars herself just to bring the rating up. Thanks to the honest postings to save the trouble. This company has a long way to go it seems with a public relations and the handling of social media.

We were in the horrid position of trying to locate a rental property. Due to COVID we found this extremely stressful. As the market was hardening we were very concerned we would not be able to find a property. You could not pay me to rent through these people don't do maintenance, evict tenants based on requesting maintenance. Leaving people unable to bath, shower, do their laundry or dishes because of ungoing plumbing issues. Then without adequate cooking facilities due to faults. Absolutely disgusting!!!! This company needs to be shut down, money grabbing con artist. With no respect or consideration for the tenants in their properties. Absolutely vile. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

I have rented several homes over the past decade, and as a result I have dealt with many different land agents. Altus have by far been my best rental experience so far. They are friendly, and incredibly punctual in responding to any of the maintenance issues I have had. Their communication and care are wonderful. The handy men and tradesmen they outsource these tasks to are also friendly, and get the job done.

Been with Altus for a few months after switching Property management groups. We have been so happy with the quality of care this team has showed us, they have kept us informed every step of the way. My property manager provides timely advice relating to lease renewals and property maintenance. Inspections are thorough and highlight items to be addressed by the tenant as well as the landlord. When it comes to maintenance, my property manager seeks to ensure we get a solution that addresses the issue and is good value for money.

Had to break lease early due to severe financial strain but the Senior Property Manager was wonderful in allowing us to pay remaining money owed in instalments.
