I have hired this company. I counted 5 previous times and only had an issue last time I hired them with them arriving 4 hours late but the movers and everything have always been a good experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case this time. They arrived and seemed nice enough and started the process about 45 minutes into it. I knew there was a problem. Because they were going slow. Last time we moved it took an hour 15 minutes to load and about an hour to unload. At the 45-minute mark they seemed maybe 20% done. At that time, he said do you want me to protect your mattress and couch, I said yes for those two items. I was loading up our cars with boxes still so they would have less to load in the meanwhile. I came back and saw them plastic wrapping everything. I didn't really think anything of it except it was taking way too long. At the 2.5 hour mark they were done. After close to 5hours they were now done with the move, so I was thinking ok I'm paying about double because they are moving at slug speed and seemed both high out of their minds. The more I watched when I went to pay, the process was you speak with someone in their billing department and he then told me a number about 500 more than the 5 hours?? I asked him to please break it down for me, well it went back to protecting the mattress and couch, they used plastic wrap on everything after I told them to protect those two items, so they used it on furniture that was old that I would never have asked them to wrap. They wrapped everything to the point there could have been a mummy inside. So, they charged me 500 dollars basically for plastic wrap. It felt like I was robbed. Clearly, they knew what they were doing because nobody would ever have paid for this wrap. They didn't even remove the wrap when they got there, to add insult to this he tried to charge me for 30 minutes more of work because he said he got there at a certain time. I had to flag him down at 8:35 because they were lost in the apartment parking lot. They didn't start until 8:45 but claimed to start at 8:15. They credited me 15 minutes but still got paid another 15 minutes mind you they already went 2+ hours longer than they should have. And I ended up paying $672 more than I should have. Again, I'm a customer since 2006 and the only issue I have had with them was in 2017 when they were 4 hours late. I have referred numerous people but I'm letting anyone know. Do not let them wrap anything they will fleece you. Better yet find another moving company. They can't even give me a break down on supplies, again I only asked them to protect my mattress and couch and they put this plastic on everything. This was a huge scam. I guarantee you I will get a generic message back from them that will say nothing! They don't even have a price for this. The driver clearly is paid to do this.
My worst moving experience ever. All My Sons is a predatory business. They are very nice and make it sound like the whole thing is going to go easily, and hide some of the expense when you call and get a quote, and then they take a deposit. Only on the day of the move do they tell you, oh by the way we charge for driving to your house after saying during the quote process that there is no travel fee. They also told me they would be checking in on me every hour during the move to make sure everything was going right. That all sounded great. On the Friday before my move, I still had not heard from the company about when they would be arriving on Monday. I had to contact them, and I was told Tuesday would be my move date. Then I took work off specifically to be there around during the time window I was given. The movers came 3 hours later than the window I was given, and no one contacted me. I had to reach out to the office to find out why no one had shown up. The movers I got were the least professional movers I've ever had. They spent a lot of time goofing around. One of them kept swinging around in the truck, and they would often stand around and wait for their buddy to catch up with them. I don't mind them enjoying their time, but they were clearly careless since they damaged three of my items. My computer screen was in it's original packaging, and I had already moved it once across the country with no issues, so it's alarming to me that it was able to be damaged by them in a local move. When they blatantly dropped our shoe dresser they didn't apologize or acknowledge it at all. I had to go pick up the broken pieces and screws that had gone flying. Finally they only give you paperwork to sign after they load all of your things in the truck, effectively holding you hostage. They couldn't explain various things on the contract to me clearly at all, but at that point they had already done half of the work. Avoid this company, please. I've had movers for half the price do a much better job.
Do NOT use this company. First of all, the call center is extremely out of touch with the realities of moving and I was told that it would take 30-60 minutes to load my 1 BR apt and the same to unload. I was also told that I would not be charged for labor during the transit time between locations. This was not true. The entire move took about 5 hours and the clock did not stop during the transit time. Additionally, I was told that I would be getting 2 men, but 3 men showed up. 2 of them did not speak English at all. The third told me not to tell the office that he was helping and told me to pay him under the table instead. This made me extremely uncomfortable and I told him not to help if he was not being paid under the contract, but he helped anyway and kept making comments about how lucky I was that he was there and how he was expecting me to "make it up" to him directly at the end of the move. Furthermore, the men wasted a lot of time between spending time on their phones, spending a lot of time in the bathroom, and at one point one man even brought up his lunch and was wanting to use my microwave and eat his food while still on the clock and before my largest pieces of furniture had even been moved. The men also blocked quite a few cars in with their truck; when a neighbor complained about it they refused to move the truck and made disparaging racial comments about her to me. Finally, when I called the office to complain about my experience the manager refused to give me any kind of credit, said that "business with you has already concluded," and said that I was fortunate to get the third man for free! He then hung up on me. I have never been more disturbed by an experience with any business. There are other moving companies out there - choose wisely!!
All My Sons? More like All My Shams! We hired these guys to move our furniture out of our house. We had most everything out of the way and ready to go. A move like ours would take any amateur people about 4 hours total, maximum, however, it took these guys, "professional movers," over 7 hours. Why? Well, they wrap everything in plastic wrap....I mean almost EVERYTHING, which took up a ton of time. My furniture had more wrap on it than a 90's mix tape. Not only that, despite wrapping things, some of our furniture still got damaged. Also, there were two guys that showed up, mind you they were friendly enough, but one guy, an older gentleman, it was his first day on the job. He got to the point where he had to take an hour long break and they had to call other people in. This was another reason, probably, why they were slower than my grandma in rush hour traffic, the new guy didn't know what he was doing. Why should I be penalized for that time wasted? I'm pretty sure he quit after our move. A simple move that was supposed to cost us around $600 ended up costing over $1,200. They also damaged the door by putting a hole in it at our new place, see pictures of that and the damaged furniture. Finally, I am also missing some items as well, more specifically some screw drivers and a tape measure, which are superficial losses at this point compared to the shanking we received by the overall cost and "material costs" as well. They also got lost on the way to our new place as well, which added another 15 minutes to our time. Regardless, the movers were nice, but the disconnect is pricing, time wasted, and damaged/missing items. I would steer clear from these people.
I do not usually do reviews but I feel responsible to warn people and share my terrible experience with this company. They treat you the best when you try to book up until they get the deposit. After that, it is very hard to get anything confirmed. I have asked for a morning-time move-out and they agreed. Next day I called to confirm the parking situation, I got surprised that I got scheduled for the afternoon and no request was made for the morning. I stayed calm and re-arranged all reservations based on the new time frame. The nightmare is that after waiting for them almost all afternoon I got a last minute call telling me that they have to cancel and I can call other movers (it was an hour before most other movers close). The representative was so rude and said it happens and their team took longer than expected for that day. He was not taking it serious and saying “it is common and we get calls all the time about movers not showing. Call others!!!”. Ok, what I get in return for this unprofessional act: we will get you back your deposit Bye. They have put me in a bad situation and I had to extend my stay for extra days. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and nothing offered in return for their bad system. I assume they have zero communication as when I called to check on my deposit refund, another representative said oh it was a car accident without even pulling up my information; it felt like a memorized excuse. Regardless the reason, this is an UNRELIABLE business and I do not want other people to experience the same.
The 3 guys who moved our household – Saul, Alejandro and Leo – were awesome and should be acknowledged and compensated for their hard work. They wrapped things with care and worked nonstop up-and-down 3 flights of stairs until the job was done. Communication with this company, however, leaves much to be desired. We asked very clearly and were told adamantly that there would be no hidden costs – only the hourly rate for the time the movers arrived until they finished. Although we were told there were no additional costs, we were charged $268 for tape and plastic wrap, and an extra hour of travel time due to Washington state rules. Neither of these charges were disclosed before the move and added more than $500 to our total move cost. The other irritation is that there were a LOT of pages to the contract and it was only presented on a small-screened tablet. The first chance we had to see this was when the movers arrived and were already on the clock. We should have received this document prior to the move so we had time to read all the fine print before signing.
Two of the three guys were good and helpful, but unhappy with the service overall. Be aware they charge you for wrapping EVERYTHING even if you don’t want it wrapped, we paid about $500 just for them to tape and wrap up our couch and dressers up and over $500 for the travel which was not disclosed prior, when they had quoted our move. They insisted on sending a third mover with them to assist and speed the process up, but it seemed like he didn’t do much of anything. They also insisted on rolling our king size bed up like a sushi roll and taped it to carry it down that way so “one guy” can take it down, after I explained to them that we initially carried it up with two guys and had no issues. I watched him roll it down a flight of stairs and I said hey, and he acted like it was a mistake and proceeded to drag it down the stairs. Now our practically new $2000 mattress is misshaped and we can’t get it back to normal. Almost $1400 to move a couch, two beds, 3 dressers, small dining table and a couple totes 30 minutes away.
I hired this company with to move my stuff from NE 28th & Hoyt, to SW 2nd, on Friday, September 8th, 2023. I called them the morning of the move, having had both my friends who were going to help suddenly bail on me. A few hours after the phone call (the customer service was excellent), the movers were at my door ready to work. I expected to pay a lot more than I did, and I expected a couple slackers to take their time milking the clock. That is not what happened. I do not recall the name of one of the movers, but the other was Lars Rodriguez. Both of these gentlemen deserve a raise. They were respectful, conscious of the fragility of some of my possessions, and last but not least, they did not drag their feet. Moving is stressful enough as it is. If you can swing it, hire some help from this company.
Quoted 2-3 hours, took 6 and didn't even finish the job. They left half-used rolls of tape (that they charged me for) all over the place, didn't empty the old house, and left the belongings in the garage in a giant, disorganized pile (despite the labels on every single box). Hired three guys but that was apparently just so one could be on break... lots of joking around and playing on cell phones. Completely careless with belongings. Literally watched them tip my couch over on its legs. We had lots of damage and broken things. Horrible communication throughout the process, then I contacted them afterwards but nobody would get back to me. They simply don't care. I've moved dozens of times and this was by far the worst company I've ever hired.
Do not use this company! They charged me extra time for their driver taking a wrong exit during rush hour that added 25 minutes to the drive (about $85 of time!). They also didn't start my move until 5 hours after my scheduled time due to an employee calling out. Because of that, I no longer had my apartment elevator reserved and loading dock due to them missing my appointment time. This added extra time to move out and they did not care at all. They made me pay for all of this added time (about $180 worth) and wouldn't unload my things to my new place until I paid. I've since been trying to get my refund (that they said they wpuld give) but now they're screening my calls?! Who does that?? Worst moving company I've use.
At first, Thom was phenomenal and really sold us in on the quality of the company. As the move drew closer, we noticed a few communication blunders (lack thereof). Moving day came and while the team was good, they put a 5 foot long scratch in one of the floors and dented the other. They also broke the xfinity lines into the house coming through the gate. Upon filling out their forms for insurance, they offered us less than 10% of the cost to repair the damage. We've reached out over 10 times and haven't received a single response and the sales guy Thom is completely unresponsive as well (he responded back once saying he moved to a difference All My Sons office). Buyer Beware.
Called All My Sons Moving and they scheduled me quickly and supplied a quote. On the day of the move, Jeremy Thorneycroft and his teammate arrived right on time. They were both professional and personable. They handled my possessions with more care than I do! They wrapped up some of my older, (rickety) pieces so that no further damage could occur. More than that, they really hustled! They acted like they were actually trying to save me money by working so hard. And they DID work hard as my new address was a third floor walk up. Can't say enough good things about this team, they made moving day an easy job for me! And came in right on quote!
I moved on a Friday from one apartment building to another in a congested downtown area. My two movers were Jeremy Thorneycroft and Efrain. They arrived on time and managed every obstacle to the move. All My Sons truck was big enough for all my stuff and well stocked in packing supplies/ moving blankets. We actually completed the move 45 minutes faster than scheduled and I was issued a credit. Jeremy and Efrain were thorough in packing fragile furniture for safe transportation. I could go into greater detail on each step but, at the end of the day, they just made moving easy. Money well spent.
I had Jon and Clayton today, they were both communicative and weren’t afraid to ask questions. They went above and beyond! I was not expecting them to put down carpet protectors which was awesome. I was nervous about the couches and mattresses as it’s wet out and they are HEAVY. But, they wrapped them completely, nothing got damaged or wet. They also rearranged furniture for me a couple times and were more than willing to help. This was my first time hiring movers, and I was more than impressed. If I move again I’ll be calling All my sons. 10/10 would recommend
I recently worked with Jeremy as my mover, and I have to say he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment he arrived, he exhibited the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Jeremy and his team handle all of my belongings with great care, ensuring that everything arrived to the next place in perfect condition. What impressed me the most was his attention to detail in the way he went above and beyond to make the entire moving process as smooth as possible. I appreciate the availability to pack and move same day and successfully get my stuff from A to B. The materials cost seemed high for the materials actually used. The movers did not listen well and I had to repeat requests many times. They also arrived without packing paper for wrapping dishes and said they couldn't go get any. I quickly went to a store myself to get them packing paper to use. It was frustrating.
Just moved across town this week with All My Sons Moving. Can’t say enough good things about Marcos Moo Burgos and his crew - on time, efficient, hard working, neat, not a scratch or mark on either house or any of our furniture. All that and they were done in 6 hours - wow. Quote process very up front, fair price, and the actual movers totally over-delivered! Do yourself a favor - use All My Sons!!

They move me out of one apartment to another apartment..they were fast moving to the other apartment it was only 11.1 miles down the road..not sure why my mom was charge so much money. ..but after I moved I noticed that one my cabinet on the bottom was broken and my son adjustable frame the wires were hanging down and its missing the battery pack...will be putting in a claim..

They moved me into my new space. They didn’t have to right tools to reassemble my table so they brought it back another day. When they did bring my table back it was covered in scratches and markings. They also forgot a piece so not I can store things on the table. Their claims dept hasn’t answered their phones or sent me any response whenever I try to start a claim.
Jeremy Thorneycroft and his crew were friendly, and efficient in their approach and execution with our move. It’s a hard job shuttling home-goods up three flights of stairs and we certainly appreciated their efforts in getting our family moved into our new residence. Would recommend this company. Jeremy and his coworker worked very hard the entire time, moving everything quickly and safely to my new location. I was impressed at how much effort they put into a short period of time as they do charge by time they made sure to work hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. They were also polite, courteous, and professional the entire experience.

The guys were great other than Philip trying to go into the doorway when the hand truck would not go in so he was going to tear up the doorway. Also there was a little blip about the cost supposedly going to be $1,200 more for packing supplies but Richard straightened that out
Omg! Johny Nelson and the crew was beyond the best moving experience I’ve had- they hustled non-stop for three hours to get the the job. All of my items were safe and secured. Beyond my standards. Excellent job and will be using again, asking for this specific crew by name.

Jose Gonzalez and his team worked so very hard moving my very heavy and large furniture from an upstairs unit to another upstairs unit in the sweltering heat. They worked fast and efficiently and didn’t stop to even take a break. They were amazing!
Excellent movers, the estimator said my move was going to be $2980 and they came in almost 600 less than expected! I don't remember the lads names but you can tell these guys live eat and breathe moving and take it seriously. Highly recommended

Worst moving day ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND! We couldn’t put our toddler to bed till midnight! These guys arrived late and claimed they had double booked so we had to wait and wait. When they arrived they had 3 guys… within the hour we had 2
