There were several issues that we had with this restaurant, however, there was one saving grace from this entire experience which is why I rate this restaurant 3 stars, otherwise it would've been 2 stars. The first issue starts with the lighting of the ballon arch, the flood light was placed behind the balloon arch instead of in front. So any and all pics that were taken had to be brightened afterwards as all of our faces were darkened by the shadow casted by the flood light being behind us. The second issue was the service, it was absolutely terrible, we received our food 40-50 minutes after placing the order, and this includes the basic items such as salad and raita. The third issue was the air conditioning indoors, there were 3 A/Cs switched on, and none of them could cool down the room that we were seated in, when the A/C did work, it cooled the room for a bit, and then it stopped cooling again. The fourth issue was the condition the indoor seating area was in, it was poorly maintained, the blinds were filthy, the ceiling was falling apart, but at least the floor and tables were clean. The fifth issue was with a couple of items that we ordered, the Seekh Kabab was cold, and it lacked in flavour. The raita was watery and not thick, it didn't have a good taste either. The sixth and final issue was with their packaging for take away, they did not seal the items with the curry properly, so it started to leak, we had to make them repackage it, and even then it started to leak again. Now for the saving grace, the Naan/ Roti was hot and fresh, the Chicken Karahi and Chicken Handi were really flavourful, fresh and had an amazing taste, those were the only items/ moments that were the highlight of this otherwise terrible experience.

It was 1st birthday of my Daughter "MEERAB MIR"... I contacted many hotels and places like Koyla Chaye , The Royal Grill , Foodiverse , Al Habib , Al Sajjad and many more... Some were not available,some were charging 5k to 25k only for Decoration of Birthday .. Then I contacted The Alaska Restaurant and the person who came on contact was very helpful and was in continuous support. He said if you book personal room for family birthday function and your bill crosses 8k rupees than the Decorations cost will be zero, otherwise you have to pay 3k rupees only... I agreed and we booked for 28th of August... We went there, it was totally empty and Only staff was there... They allowed room, Room was well decorated. Sound system and AC was there also...❤️ The staff was somehow not so much caring and they were not paying attention to us and we were at our own for everything... They said for 40 minutes wait for dinner but it took 1.5 hrs and we ordered 3 milk cake which they brought from somewhere else and was frozen, not tasty at all (Food was limited but quality was really good ) Our Total Bill was 23k rupees out of which they gave discount of 3k and charged 20k... (Decoration was complimentary) NOTE: They don't have any Digital Transaction method , nor online transfer facility... Only cash Overall 7 out of 10

Worst experience with my family at this place first time at this restaurant there waiter have no such good response and foods have some biggest mistake they did we order prawns kharai (shorba ) but they brought us mix prawns with chicken so genuinely the hell what we order and 3rd class of service and we called manager of this restaurant but they linger on the topic and manager didn't come at top floor because there other clients also have sheesha and some foods so they actually shy type and waiter saying come down bill will charge down side and manager didn't respond well to us so we hurt from there overall services and food too I don't recommend family to come here

Although I don't live in Karachi but when ever I visit Karachi am always here, I've been to so many Cafe but this is the best one so far an the reason being is the staff, I would give them A* always at service, an then the atmosphere is great outdoor preferable, an the price is barrable, the food taste is always great no matter to what you order.

You guys are worst and worst makes me wait for almost an hour and no sittings were available it was totally packed and then one of your guy gives us the sittings at first floor it was feeling like we are at someone’s house waiting for the host to treat us thanks to God we leave otherwise the whole plane got ruined. The restaurant was packed and congested i even booked the reservations but no one was aware about it totally waste of time. A BIG NO IF YOU WANT TO RUINED YOUR SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS THEN YOU GUYS CAN VISIT THEM.

Most of the food items were bad and almost all of them were overpriced + cold. Also their staff was so clever we asked them to arrange a seperate anniversery event and they said decor will be free if bill will be around 8k and then when we went there and ordered they said its less so we ordered more but they made 14k bill. Then they said we were saying its less for 7 people not less for bill. Also food was not ok and cold so a big no.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. We ordered Manchurian and Rice , and the second Dish was Shinwari Karahi and their cook prepared this Karahi in Manchurian masala. It was so bad. Food was extremely expensive Service was also bad. This is a really good restaurant and cafe to visit. If you are with your family or with your friends or even with your girl you can go here and enjoy. And don't worry about the price. Good things eventually costs a fortune. The food there is really good and the place is very nice to sit and chill. I want to become a regular customer there but the problem is that it is very far from my home.

Best place for your private party. Lovely environment best and understandable staff,on shortly notices the can arrange most of food staff to make you happy. Most of my visits I found not stop serving here. You can order them for dine in Take out or delivery. Best In this area. Good keep it up.

They charge extra for service charges that too 10% which is too much. 13%. Gst is okay but 10% service charges are not okay at all that too with high rates of food. And they have no courtesy at all even after I made a complain they took no action

I went to Alaska restaurant last sunday for birthday celebration. Everything was perfectly arranged from the decorations to the food was up to the mark and deciration was the same as discussed by the Manager. I AM GLAD THAT I SPENT TIME THERE :)

Didnt like the sheesha and the prices of food are over valued and not worth the money.

Very disappointing & bad experience. Indoor Sitting area was not clean & hygienic. AC was also not properly working. Food was just average. For all of above this they also charged 13% service charges in addition to 13% SST.
