Despite running 30-min late for my appointment, I was attended professionally and welcomed nevertheless, which is a testament to Acura of Sherman Oaks' excellent customer service department, exemplified by consultant Adair Obrien. I took my 2018 Acura MDX for B1 and B3 service at 90,000 miles, a milestone in the life of an automobile I think. Could have taken it to my private mechanic but wanted Acura's eyes and expertise in its multipoint inspection to thoroughly assess where my SUV was along its trajectory of operation, how long I should hold on to this beautiful ride, and to face the future informed with valuable data. Boy, it's quite valuable, too! From wiper blades to rotors and arm bushings, and what such itemized repairs cost to optimize performance at near factory specifications, Acura of Sherman Oaks voluntarily provided me with details it didn't have to provide, educated me as a consumer-driver when I hadn't specifically asked for it. This is respect for the customer's hard-earned dollar at its finest and I commend the professionalism observed here. Top-notch work as I've come to expect from this dealership to no surprise. Now, professionalism and precision isn't cheap. Duh. So if you're looking for bargain shopping, this isn't it; Acura's eyeballing runs on the expensive side for typical members of the proletariat; that said, every so often you need the product's engineers to give your ride a look-and-see, like consulting a top-tier surgeon or meeting with a business mogul in the heat of 4th Quarter decisions. Time's running out and solid, no-nonsense answers--'tell it to me straight's!--is more valuable than the above-average price that often scare people into the bargain bin where cheap toy cars linger in hopes of purchase, finally. But this isn't a cheap toy car, right? A little over-budget, sure, but worth it when it counts. Yet, Adair hunted for discounts to lessen the blow to my wallet as much as possible, thankfully . It took about as long as expected, their spread in the waiting area isn't what it once was years ago, but it was clean and friendly and quiet, with beautiful cars to look at or not. Drank an espresso, a coffee, ate an apple , took a walk to the park, while Adair kept me informed via text message. Nice job, Acura of Sherman Oaks!

I want to thank Dmitrii Fateev for being so professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. We first stopped by at the Acura of Sherman Oaks earlier in 2023 just to look at an MDX and met Dmitrii. We told him that we weren't looking to buy just yet and he still took his time to show us the MDX's, explain to us the differences between the models, and even had us test drive two different models while explaining all the features in each. He is extremely knowledgeable. It was truly a pleasure test driving the vehicles on our first visit. We did talk about some numbers but he was not pushy at all, just giving us information which we appreciated greatly. After test driving other vehicles that we were considering, nothing came close to the experience we had at Acura of Sherman Oaks with Dmitrii Fateev. When we were ready to buy later in 2023, we came back specifically to Acura of Sherman Oaks to speak with Dmitrii. Before coming in the second time, we spoke with Dmitrii over the phone since we knew the vehicle we wanted and agreed on the lease terms over the phone He once again was very professional and was very easy to deal with. He explained all the terms and made sure we were comfortable with the purchase, I heard stories about how the vehicle buying process is but with Dmitrii it was a pleasant experience. We are extremely happy with the Dmitrii, the vehicle we are leasing, and the whole experience. Acura of Sherman Oaks is lucky to have such a fantastic employee. If you consider buying an Acura, we highly recommend to go speak with Dmitrii Fateev. Thank you Dmitrii!

Bought car that turned out to be too small to be safe. The check engine gone light was on so they had it all the Lexus dealer almost a month but I would have paid the 1500 to return it but no one picked up the phon. Fast forward I ended up buying a larger suv from Lexus Santa Monica I traded in the car I bought from them waited almost two hour to talk to someone to get a refund on the warranty I paid for because no one can be reached no matter how many messages you leave. No one acknowledged my waiting on the couch I was told they would get with me when they finish by the receptionist the what they were doing no one even spoke to me after. Seems like customer service goes only as far as if you are about to pay you get served. Other than that they don’t care to notice . They already made money off me. If you are looking for customer service it might be wise to look somewhere up the road.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! I purchased a set of 4 shocks and struts from this place only to find out from my mechanic that they are defective. When I purchased them the guy at the counter said they have a 1 year warranty. When I went back to get them exchanged the guy refused. My car has been at the mechanic for 5 days now because the shocks can’t be installed because they have a manufacturer defect and they refuse to work with me. The shocks are new have not been installed. The guy at the counter refuses to help me to exchange them. He was rude and he said that I should exchange my mechanic. He was also asking me to give him the name and address of my mechanic. I am going back tomorrow and if they refuse to honor their one year warranty I will have to take legal action as this is costing me money and time. Very disappointed!

Not a good experience in terms of communication. Vehicle was supposed to be picked up on 5/9 by the shipping company. But the dealer said it won't be ready by then even though earlier it was supposed to be ready by then. So cancelled the pick up date with shipping company. In real it was ready to be picked up on 5/9. But no update from anyone in the dealer. Today on 5/10, I called and hear that it was ready to be picked up yesterday. Called the Finance Manager quite a few times on 5/6 and 5/8 to get the update on the funding. But no response from him. Now need to get another slot from shipping company. First communication was done on 4/26 and today is 5/10. Not sure when do I get this vehicle. ***Update*** Changing from 1 to 3 star since after hard work by Chris and Alex, finally I was able to register the vehicle after 45 days.

Eight Honda’s later, My wife and I decided to look into the Acura brand. Meeting Alex Calinescu our sales representative from Sherman Oaks Acura helped us with the decision. Alex is easy going, and the most knowledgeable auto salesman I have ever met, he really knows cars very well. Alex will guide you through the decision making process to get you in the right car, and make sure you are happy with the purchase. The only Negative experience is the loaner car that was given to me while a small detail is being done to our new MDX. The Loaner Car: Smells Of Cigarette Smoke, Was Unwashed, and has a Small Dent on the right front fender that was not pointed out to me. This is not a reflection of Alex’s Five Star Service And Why I Gave The Review 5 Stars.

Andre is Amazing he gave me all the information that I needed to make my decision right there on the spot. appreciate the Honesty and transparency. Also got a paint protection and interior package that I’m really happy with since my wife and I have a 9 month old. I feel safe that I don’t have to worry about getting charged for damages at the end of the lease. Got the MDX for the wife but Definitely coming in for my Type S Thank you for the professionalism.

This has been a huge contrast to my experience at previous dealerships. any individual I have come in contact with at Acura has been so friendly and professional in all aspects of their work. This place is the worst nightmare dealership ever… I financed a car with Ernest and apparently his no longer working there and my car was damaged and I did tell Ernest on the 3rd day about it but he was just acting like he cared and kept pushing time I guess he knew he was going to leave. Month has passed by and I haven’t received an email or mail where to make a payment or even my tracking gps information. Thinking this would be a high end dealership it’s dumb people working there. They tell me to google the finance number like REALLY! I don’t recommend this dealership once you buy it’s like they don’t give a damn about you!

I was hoping to give them zero stars!! Horrible customer service Ernest the reception. They're all liers at this dealership. They only want your money. If Stefan Kubicki attempts to sell you anything especially the Lithia Driveway warranty, DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Waste of money. I purchased a 2015 Honda from the car dealership and they sold me a car with a bent sub-frame and told me the car needed a wheel alignment, lie. The XM radio does not provide a signal, not covered under Platinum warranty. If your a woman purchasing a vehicle here please be careful the men will lie to you. Worst dealership purchase for me!!

I had a wonderful experience with Acura Sherman Oaks. They were helpful and informative without being pushy. They really wanted to understand my needs and help me find the right fit for me. I worked with Ernest, Jimmy and Demetrio. Jimmy was so patient with me as I went from one car to another not able to make up my mind. He was totally understanding and I never felt rushed like I have at other dealerships. They were also willing to work with me to get to a deal I felt comfortable with. When I came to get my car they had a big bow on it. This was a great experience. I highly recommend Acura of Sherman Oaks.

I needed to have both of my headlights replaced on my ILX due to water damage. I contacted Alberto Sierra and he referred me to service advisor Carlos. Carlos was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, worked very well with my needs, and gave me the the utmost reassurance on the work that was going to be done and what to keep in mind for the future. Him and his team went above and beyond for me, and I'm very thankful they replaced my headlights. From ordering parts, to replacing the headlights, it was only a one day job. Their customer service relations are the best you'll find!

I got so lucky to have had Raul Martinez helping me acquire my ILX A Spec! He was wonderful throughout the whole process. Out of all of the dealerships we visited on Van Nuys Blvd that day, Acura was the one that worked with us most and were very reasonable about it. Hector from the service department is an incredible person at this dealership as well! I highly recommend getting your next car from these guys. I feel a lot more comfortable and happy leaving my cars in the hands of these gentleman as opposed to the people at my previous dealership, Northridge Toyota.

Bought my Acura here a few months ago and sat with it before posting and I still have no regrets! The car is just as advertised and no additional problems snuck up on me. It’s a typical car dealership so expect the standard process flow, but they were able to meet me at my price point and I got a GREAT deal on a car that will last me a long while!! Thank you Razmik and team for my first Acura! The salesman really made me feel like there was no pressure and the billing person was just as good to work with, though I don’t remember his name.

I really didn't want to post a bad review. Everyone was pretty cool and helpful when we first purchased our vehicle. The problem is they don't care what happens after your purchase. They got their money, good luck with any kind of support after the fact. I'd suggest shopping around. These reviews are deceitful. Update. Changed to a 3 star. They finally figured out our registration and got the DMV paperwork processed. We had the car parked for 7 days due to expired tags but everything is fine now, the registration is finally in our name.

We saw a great deal on a certified pre-owned base RDX online on Friday, took it for a test drive and drove it home on Saturday. Our salesman Alex was friendly and knowledgeable every step of the way. Joe the service representative was courteous and efficient with good communication skills. It was busy when I dropped the car off so I did have a short wait to be seen but once Joe was available the process was quick and efficient. The work required was both an annual service and fixing a recall note. Acura gave me an anticipated completion time and they finished the work a little earlier than expected. Checkout was fast and the car had been cleaned too. I was happy with the experience.

Alfredo helped us with getting our new MDX and he made it as simple and straightforward as possible. Their pricing was one of the best around given the current market conditions and this was a big factor in selecting them over the other dealerships in SoCal. If I can give them less than one star I would. Horrible service -- I have to track down service members when they were working on my car, they also had to order a part for my car and it's been 2 months and have not gotten the part. I paid $1200 dollars for it and haven't seen or heard from them. There was also an issue my speakers and they claimed they fixed it and when I received the car it was still messed up. This Acura will ROB you of your money.

Dishonest people in charge at this dealership. Get everything they say in writing!!! Made promises to me they never keep and did not honor the 60 day warranty. I had to sue them and they looked so stupid in court. Buyer beware!!! Avoid this dealership if you can find the same thing else where but a little more expensive. Save yourself the hassle of having to sue these people after they lie to you over and over.

Bailey in the service department is the best! He always gets me in last minute if I need it. I came in recently with a flat tire and he was able to give me a wonderful loaner car while mine was in the shop. Had my own car back the very next day! Excellent service! A gentleman named Adair was my service tech. I took the car in for a minor issue with the AC. When it was determined that we needed another part and had to leave the car there for a couple days, he hooked me up with a cool loaner vehicle.
